goldielocksvampire:
"Sure… Let me grab you a duvet. Want to walk about it or…?"
"I guess, no it's fine.." Stefan smiled at her, not really knowing what to say about why he was there. It wouldn't make the urge for blood go away, it would still be there the only thing changed would be that she was now worried about it as well.

Stefan gave her hand a little squeeze to check if she was actually there, and she was. "Where do you wanna go?" He questioned, willingly to take her anywhere she wanted to.
Coming home
Lexi nodded, standing and curling her hand around his, still not able to fully comprehend that she was somehow back. "Let's go somewhere that's not... here. Let's go live. Together." She smiled pulling him along after her, holding onto him tightly.

Stefan smiled as he saw his wife walk back in, only to comment on his not so great cooking. "Hey it's not that bad." He joked as he leaned forward to place a kiss on her lips. They had both been working pretty much so a moment alone was amazing. "You look beautiful today." Stefan stated as he always did, every single day ever since they first met.

Elena had dropped the kids off at her parents house, needing a little bit of a break and some time with Stefan who had the day off work as well as her. Walking back into the house she discarded of her jacket and heels and walked into the kitchen to Stefan cooking. She laughed slightly before she fixed what he was doing. “Maybe we can spend this time off with me teaching you how to cook? Because you and I go through a lot of wine.” She chuckled lightly before looking up at her husband. “We have until five o’clock with the house to ourselves. Mom was happy to see and look after the kids.”

Stefan sent her a careful smile. "You're right, as always." He said as his smile grew bigger. Seeing and feeling her made him want to live again. "Let's go?" He asked as he got up and reached her his hand.
Coming home
Lexi hugged him back fiercely, eyes closing tightly. "Stefan." She breathed, lips trembling. "I dont know. But lets not waste time worrying about why. All that matters is that I'm here. With you." The blonde cradled his face in her hands gently, eyes gazing into his. "I missed you too." She smiled softly.

"But, you know, the life that we had, I mean, that was amazing, too, and it wasn’t a spell or a prophecy. It was real. We fell in love on our own. We had ups and downs, we fought. We changed, both of us. We grew, and we grew apart, but that is real. I mean, that’s life."

As he sat there feeling alone he felt something or rather someone touched his cheek. He knew that touch better than anything else. he turned his head aside only to see her. The girl that had haunted his mind ever since her passing. "Lexi? I oh my god." He exclaimed as he saw the blonde and immediately embraced her. He held her tight and just took in the moment. "I have missed you so much, but how are you even.." He cut himself off realizing that either he was hallucinating, dead or she had no idea either.
Coming home
Lexi sighed, watching over Stefan with a grim smile on her sad face. "Don't frown Stefan. You'll just get more wrinkles." She sat down next to him, wishing she could touch him.
But being dead and all took that away from her. All the blonde wanted to do was envelop him in a hug and never, never let go. There would be no reason to anyways.
She reached out and attempted to touch his cheek, expecting the numb sensation of her fingers going through him.
She was startled them, when her skin made contact with his, a quiet gasp leaving her parted lips as she froze, dumbstruck.
"Stefan?" She whispered, eyes widening. "I can... feel you."

Coming home
Stefan walked down the streets of Mystic Falls feeling emptier than ever. Someone was missing from his life, from him and he wasn't sure of how he was supposed to continue with her. Lexi was all he have had for years and it couldn't be counted on one hand the times she had saved him from himself. She would forever be his best friend and no one could ever take her place. Stefan sat down on a bench thinking back to the times they had together and a tear fell from his cheek. She was dead and gone and never coming back, but he couldn't accept that.
