Anon's PoV comes from a place where marginalized people don't exist. It's easier to "hold people responsible for their actions" when the playing field is 100% even but we do not live in that reality. Women are paid less, expected to pay financial dues to "look" a certain way, usually end up with the lion's share of childcare to the point where they're expected to give up their financial independence and I could go on and on. It's just not fair to not account for disadvantaged circumstances when you weigh the cause and responsibility of choices.

Why don't radfems think women are responsible for their actions? It's a consistent pattern I see in other social justice movements as well.

women are responsible for their actions, but culturally women are treated as if they are responsible for more than just their actions, as well as the actions of others. women the consequences for women's actions also not proportional. like as a made up example: if a woman feeds her kids chicken nuggets for a week straight, instead of people saying oh she's trying her best to feed her kids and we frankly don't know all the circumstances, people instead would lose their minds and call cps on her. but if a dad did "chicken nugget week" people would be like #dream dad, #good man, #fun dad chicken nugget challenge and he'd be invited on whatever the equivalent of the ellen show exists now (is ellen still on? don't even know after she was accused of being a meanie)
