This time last year I was working on chapter 1 of Mark me. 🥺 For some reason I'm feeling really itchy to start something new (and have drafted a few things squeeee), and I'm wondering if this is gonna be a pattern.

Sunday: I spent two hours working on an adorable sickfic chapter for Mark me and then another two hours brainstorming some dark shit for a new fic bc nothing I'm currently working on is scratching the itch for fucked-up content 💀

I figured I might just tell you that reading that story has been *healing* to me in ways I didn't know were possible. Your writing is so good and I love the story as much as I love all the spicy spicy spicy spicy content. strange question- do you have any movie/tv recommendations that are somewhat similar to your fics?

I LOVE this question, and thanks so much for asking! I have a few answers for you:

-I've shared this in my feed before, but Leopard Skin (Carla Gugino step on me please) has a similar vibe between two women as my Emma and Regina. I've watched it like three times.

-I tend to get really inspired by general character vibes from shows, and two that helped shape Regina for me are Gillian Anderson in The Fall (you might recognize a scene from an early chapter in Transparent 😇) and Mads Mikkelsen in Hannibal.

-I pull a lot of my darker aspects of writing from horror, so honorable mention to The Fall of the House of Usher (Carla Gugino again but I'm not sorry) (there's also some amazing lesbian TFotHoU fanfic).
