G-Man pride headcanons!
Gender wise, I headcanon him as epsilonic.
But, when asked by those he does not have a rapport with, he will say gendervoid, for simplicity.
Pronouns, he's pretty indifferent to but sticks with he/him out if convenience and familiarity.
He is demiomantic and recipromantic and asexual! He very, very rarely will experience romantic attraction, and when he does, he needs to know the other party feels the same or it fizzles, he rarely makes the first move as well.
For him, a lot of this came naturally to realize, bur the language is new. He was thrilled when humans made language that fit him, however.
#:D#ooo epsilonic is such a cool microlabel… the flag rocks too!!#demiromantic and asexual actually PERFECTLY lines up with my hcs for him#in short… I love everything about this :DDD

I genuinely love seeing how people in the ficto community portray their f/o's in art, fics, hcs, or anything else.
They know that character better than anyone. They understand them deeply and they show us a side of them born from the connection they share, and it's so authentic and real, it'll never compare to the way "canon" depicts them
#I… I really needed this#as somebody having a crisis over their headcanons straying too far from what the character originally was

#yaay yippeee#I headcanon that G’ has no heartbeat naturally but sometimes consciously imitates one to blend in better#so when you fall asleep next to him it might abruptly disappear#kinda frightening at first but you get used to it

I REALLY DID!!!! :D
Just looked at some of my earliest HL-related writing and my first selfshippy notes about G’ refer to my self-inserts with she/her pronouns, implying that my love for him is older than my gender identity and he watched me transition. I’m not sure why this surprises me so much but it does-

EEP! I can't believe I forgot Thespius! To make up for it, what would be Thespius and Reader's ideal date? And, for the polycule, maybe Lovestory x Author Reader? Like the Reader is passionate about writing? Maybe? 👉👈
I am giving u the biggest thumbs up
-Thespius' ideal date is pretty similar to Click Clack's, so long as he's with his lovers he's all good! Though he does particularly enjoy watching the fruits of his labor come to life with his partners. Watching the actors flawlessly perform his creation dedicated to his two lovers makes his day, especially when he gets to see both you and Click Clack get flustered. Loves covering the two of you in kisses as you both try to hide your faces and scoot away from him. -Aside from that though, he does enjoy taking you out to dinner. You deserve the finer things in life and he adores showing you off. How'd he manage to catch not one cutie but TWO??? Luckiest guy in the Grove for sure!
BONUS ROUND; LOVESTORY x READER
-They both notice you at around the same time, though Thespius takes more of an interest in you at first. He catches wind of your prayers and investigates, and how cute! It's a new author doing their best to write a romance! -They do their jobs as Gods and send you a little divine inspiration and write it off, it's a common occurrence that they're used to. -What they're not used to, however, is the Godpoke delivering books to them a long while later. An entire page dedicated solely to the two Gods for their inspiration and help. It's the cutest thing they've seen and they do appreciate it! -Thespius is the first to actually read the book and is blown away by it. The yearning, the pining, the heartbreak of assumptions and misunderstandings, oh how it speaks to him! It's like this mortal author captured his every thought and feeling from the past centuries and put it onto a page in no time at all! -Click Clack feels similarly, though the book also has him pressing his face into Thespius' chest groaning. He didn't know how you made such a relatable character but he's certainly relating. -They keep a closer eye on you after that, you were an interesting human! Though Thespius is far more invested in you than Click Clack is, but that can be easily explained by Thespius' past relationships with mortals. -He falls in love with watching you work, the way you tend to pace when thinking or have random moments where you're doing a chore before darting off to write an idea. -At first Thespius assumes you already have a partner or at least a crush on somebody, with how you write so passionately about yearning and wanting somebody's love, but is shocked to find out you're single and not interested in anyone. -Half of his time becomes invested in watching you, which of course gets Click Clacks attention further. Upon the other God explaining it becomes a bit of an obsession for them both. What has you yearning so badly? Where did all of this pining COME from?? -The two only feel a little bad thinking it, but you've become something of a show akin to Oh Partner Mine to them. With the way you waxed poetic about love surely you had to have SOME sort of inspiration. -It isn't until you get to the editing part of writing your next book that you pray to them again, focusing mostly on Click Clack. The God takes this opportunity to (not so) personally invite you to his realm so he can read the draft in person. -Godpoke is dutiful and polite in delivering the mail to you, tipping their hat as they turn to leave you with the letter that smelled of dried ink and flowers. -You're of course nervous and terrified to face the Gods of Love and Storytelling, why wouldn't you be? You're some newbie writer with a passion and a stubborn soul and they're actual Gods. -Entering Click Clack's domain isn't as dramatic as the stories say it is, mainly because the lights are already on and you're ambushed by Thespius Green. He's so excited to meet you and praises your work, writing, and characters. He also picks you up into a bear hug and swings you around, with you somehow losing the transcript that ends up in Click Clack's hands. -Thespius is the main talker, with Click Clack focusing on actually editing what you wrote. The God of Love has 1000 questions for you that you answer to the best of your abilities before he's asking 30 more. -When he prompts you as to what inspired you to yearn you tell him you just yearned for love as a concept. -This, of course, catches both Gods attention. You admit that you have trouble with your own emotions, processing them and actually experiencing them, and the hardest one is love itself. So you use that yearning for that one concept that is unreachable to you as inspiration for your characters. -You leave with a million thank yous to Click Clack for his time and Thespius for his inspiration, the Gods leave with a million conflicting thoughts and crush they weren't entirely sure what to do with.
