The primal throwing urge
You ever just hold something and, need to hold back the primal, intrusive thought to throw it? This happens to me all the time when holding short drinking glasses, larger ones have too much weight and don't feel as throwable, not sure why this is
#The prehistoric urge to throw stuff#that's how spears were invented#Intrusive thoughts#throwing glass#I wish I had one of those indestructible east german glasses so I could throw it all the time

Cheese Conspiracy
So, sometime in the past 3 months (I forgot when) I tried shredding Parmesan cheese by hand for the first time instead of using the pre-shredded kind and....they taste completely different? Real Parmesan is a lot closer to an aged Gouda then it is to the pre-shredded stuff, which is closer to the powder than it is to the real stuff, what the henk.
#pre-shredded is a lie#don't believe big dairy propaganda#cheese#parmesan#buy a handcranked cheese shredder it's worth it

You, you understand my fury.
Bored by a lot of horror that tries to do liminality but puts something visible and “living” in it. My brother in Christ you missed the point of what makes liminal spaces liminal.

A desire for squiggly arms
Sometimes I try and use my boring bone arms like tentacles, wishing I could curl them around objects to hold them tightly, which is frustrating cause, I wish I just had tentacle arms, no fingers? Who needs em.

So, imagine this, I was gonna correct this post cause I was telling my friend that black rhinos fight with their teeth, but it turns out present me was wrong but past me was right.
Indian rhinos are weird

Okay so, y'all got these rhinos in India right? That got this sturdy, strong horn, so you'd think it's what they use to fight right?

Nah, they use their lower teeth to fight, instead of their horn which just like, I do not get it, why would they choose to weaponize their teeth over their horn, just seems a lil silly to me, even a bit redundant, y'know.
#I really am a dumbass sometimes#Maybe I should check my post before I try and paraphrase it#but you are what you eat so if i'm a dumbass that means i eat

Engineering prompt: An object gun
Had this prompt in my head for a while and would love to share it, think of any object, could be a couch, could be a lime, now write out a blueprint to design a device that not only launches said object, but with enough accuracy that it can be considered a gun.
#Now to figure out how to make a couch out of limes#I bet that'd make for a funny form of ammunition

Been lurking a lot as of late, still need to update my icon and blog banner, in the mean time did you know that coyotes and badgers team up to hunt prairie dogs? The badger goes in the burrow to get the ones inside and the coyote gets any that try and flee, cool stuff.

WEDNESDAY WEED REVIEWS - SHOCKWAVE by BC BLACK [A.K.A. Falcon 9 x Strawberries & Cream]

Coming in from PureFire in British Columbia, Shockwave does leave a lasting impression. It's a lighter high at first - but as time goes on, the light buzz gives way to a focused, laid-back, and productive high.
## First Impressions
When first opening the 3.5g bag purchased from Garden City Cannabis, [shoutout to Garden City Cannabis], we went in blind, and were more than pleasantly surprised to be met with such a powerful, herby, citrusy aroma, which I personally think smells like lemongrass, citrus, and rosemary, with hints of oregano, and of course, weed.
These mildly sticky nugs were small to medium size with a savanna grass green-tan coloration. Highlights of little orange fibers are visible, and the buds are glazed with a beautiful frosting of tiny, glistening trichromes.

Unfortunately due to my cracked camera, it didn't pick up all the trichromes that well, and it also skewed the coloration mildly.
After a nice lookover and game of "pass the nug" we put 'er in the extendo-bong and lit 'er up.
## The Sesh

Pictured above : the Extendo-Bong - photo courtesy of my smoke pal @redchaosscrungle
The first thing we noticed was the flavor of the smoke. My first impression was that of a rich herbal, fruity flavor, with the inhale flavor reminding me of oranges and berries, with an exhale being a bit spicier, all while retaining citrus and floral notes.
Each toke was a smooth one- especially with bong filters in place. While that's a good thing for many, be warned, it's so smooth, that with bong filters in place, it's easy to take too big of a toke without realizing it until you're already coughing - but that's alright. For what Shockwave delivers, it's definitely worth it.
The high came on quickly and smoothly with a light, cooling buzz, that took the edge off any anxiety or stress present. It was a light high at first, and we were a little worried it may stay that way - even with a few good tokes off the extendo-bong.
After a good twenty minutes, however, things started to change, and that light buzz progressed into a nice, productive, lighter midweight Sativa high with no signs of couch-lock in sight.
## Conclusion :
Shockwave definitely earned its name - despite not being a heavy high, it offers focus and functional drive - a clear mind, and a desire to do with a new viewpoint. Painting or reading a book, this strain is your friend.
Though I personally prefer heavier highs, this hybrid strain definitely does deliver an enjoyable experience - no matter the logic [or lackthereof] behind it.
