Have the red cross books all been shipped yet?

hi there, the end of the preorders will be shipped out by thursday at the latest. paypal should notify you with an email containing the tracking number once it’s been mailed.

i really really appreciate your patience in waiting for your zines, everyone.

i will also make a tumblr announcement or two once i have sent out the last of the books and updated paypal with tracking numbers.

Yay! I just received mine and it looks great. The bit about the patch and buttons totally slipped my notice, so that was a really nice surprise. So, are there plans for a sequel?

we will be doing a second volume! i am not completely sure about the final details, but we have been talking about potentially making an evangelion-related comic anthology as well... long live doujinshi!however, this will not be until the beginning of 2014, most likely. please follow the tumblr for more updates in the future. thanks so much for your support.

Hi! I'm curious about when those of us who preordered can expect the book. I thought it said mid-April somewhere, but I know these things can take time.

Hello!I was swamped with a much larger amount of preorders then I have ever dealt with before! All the remaining orders *will* be shipped out within the next 7 days. assembling, packing, and shipping is all a one-lady operation! please be patient I also input tracking numbers via paypal's system as i mail out batches of orders; you should receive an email from paypal to whatever email is registered to your account containing a tracking number. thank you again for your cooperation, everyone.

when you do a second batch for the preorders, will there also be a second batch of patches/pin to go along with it?

hello! there will be no pre-orders for the second batch, they will be listed in the shop once i physically have the zines in order to get them to   customers as fast as possible. unfortunately  i only made enough pins and patches as preorders that were placed. they were limited and i do not have any leftover, so i will not be bringing them back when i stock the second edition of the zines in the shop.i am planning on tabling at otakon's artist alley this summer with jenny zych, and i am sure we will be making more anime-related silkscreen patches. however, they will be all new designs, and i can't quite say what exactly right now! please keep an eye on either one of our art blogs for updates in the future!

note on preorders and second edition!

hello everyone! between MoCCa fest and the preorders, we have sold out of the first batch of red cross book vol 1! i was not anticipating such a response to this project when i first began organizing it, thank you all so much for that! i have been shipping out the preorders in batches, so expect your copy in the coming weeks!

i have ordered a second batch of books for purchase zinefeast and to stock online for anyone who did not have a chance to hop on the preorder. there will also be a few copies floating around TCAF, more info on that closer to may! thank you all so much again for your support. <3

these are the limited edition pre order extras! the patches are based off the design in jenny zych's submission, and the pins feature art from laura k, vreni stollberger, jensine eckwall, and naomi butterfield. each preordered zine will come shipped with a patch and two pin designs selected randomly. keep in mind the only way you can obtain the pin and patch set is if you preorder the zine! i will not be selling them or making any more after april 15h, when the preorder ends. the zine itself will still be available for sale online after april 15th, just the pins and patches are limited edition!

the full, original cover art that was silkscreened for the cover of issue 01! thanks again so much to naomi butterfield for this lovely piece. 

The flat digital version of the silkscreen cover I designed for the Red Cross Book (organized and produced by the wonderful Anna who also silkscreened this cover). It was a joy to work on and I’m thrilled with the amazing success of the zine. (Will post the black and white line art a bit later)

Hey just wondering if there would be a PDF option? I'd love a copy but the shipping would cost more than the actual zine!

hello! i had not considered this option, but i understand where you are coming from entirely. :( i really wish there was a way for me to ship the zines out over seas for less. 

right now i am most concerned with shipping out the mass amount of preorders we have received! once that is taken care of, i will look into putting a pdf option online. thank you for this suggestion! i think it's a very good option, especially since international shipping has gone up!

hello everyone! i have added international shipping options on the bigcartel preorder page for vol 01! i have added shipping options for canada, mexico, portugal, japan, and the uk. i'm terribly sorry for the high international shipping costs, but it seems the us postal service just raised all it's rates very recently. :c if you are located elsewhere outside the usa and would like to preorder, please respond to this post or message us via tumblr. question mark for answers?
