Lisa laughs, a little out of sorts at the comment.

“I, uh, I don’t have much left to rot away, I don’t think. Pretty sure it’s just bones down there now...You seem like you’re in a good mood today.”

Lisa moves back so, if he wants, Jimmy can come inside. It’s not like there’s a lot of change since the last time he was in the hospital, nothing new to see, but she knows that she don’t know him as well as she thinks she does.

“Any news to report? You hear more than I do...”

“I’m rotting in the goddamned ground.” He looks her over, snorting, and ambles up to the steps. “Thought you were off doing the same.”

He is friendly, open, almost smiling. The pastor making his rounds.

“Hi, Alex. My name is Lisa, I’m a nurse here.”

Lisa pulls up one of the chairs in the room and sits as well, looking for something to tell her why Alex is in Alchemilla.

“I haven’t seen your chart, so..can you tell me why you’re in the hospital?”

He doesn’t seem injured, but she knows that not all wounds are easy to spot.

“Alex.”

He takes a seat where indicated, looking around uncomfortably. To him, the room looks pristine and white, bringing him back to the last time he was in a hospital, which was….when? It was the lake incident, right? That must be why he’s feeling heavy in his chest right now, feeling his throat tighten. Just a bad memory.

“Who are you? Do you work here?”

“What children?” Lisa scowls, wrinkling her nose at who was Jimmy and is now someone slightly different, but equally annoying. “There’s only Alessa, and I don’t--”

Well, there’s no need to mention how Alessa is probably avoiding her because she brought her nurse back a little wrong and now she has a taste for eyes.

“Regardless of whatever you’re going to say-- stop eating babies and children.”

"Jimmy. Stop eating babies. For fucks sake, are you trying to make me hate you?"

The Red Devil undid his belt with a heavy groan. Wiped blood from his cadaver lips with the back of one hand.“Ain’t trying, sister. Just seems to come naturally.”His eyes glittered.

Lisa frowns, and holds out her hand. “All the rooms are upstairs, and this isn’t...Come with me, I’ll get you settled.”

As far as she knows Alchemilla isn’t still operating as a hospital, but it’s not like she gets glimpses of the ‘real’ world that often, and it wouldn’t be the first time someone’s slipped through the cracks.

“Here, have a seat--” she leads the man to the exam room which is, thankfully, clear of any gore at the moment. “What’s your name?”

“Oh, I…”

He can’t remember what he’s been doing. He doesn’t know where he is, only that he’s dressed in hospital getup and that he isn’t supposed to be here. Was he in for trauma? Treating shock? Yeah, that was probably it…His head still hurts, and there’s a buzzing in his ears.

“I….I thought this was my ce–my room .” he lies.

“It's not healthy-- there’s no way you're getting enough nutrients just from baby flesh. Eat a teenager, at least.”

So what if she throws a food pyramid guide at him, it’s not like he can kill her or anything.

"Jimmy. Stop eating babies. For fucks sake, are you trying to make me hate you?"

“Oh, I’m sorry, but the second and third floors are currently off limits at the moment. There was a...leak, so we’re asking the public to stay away for the time being.”

Lisa brushed some imaginary dust from her skirt, hoping they’ll listen. The nurses have be more active lately, and the last thing she wants is to drag another corpse away from them.

“Is there anything I can do to help you?”

It’s been a long, long while since she’s been around, and Lisa is, well, out of touch with what’s been going on in the town. It’s not like she gets regular updates when she’s passed out in the basement for a month or three.

So, when she sees Jimmy, for whatever reason he’s wandered into the hospital's main yard, Lisa waves him over.

“Jimmy! Hey, hi, are you busy?”

Lisa doesn’t know where she is, but she knows three things: She’s colder than usual, everything smells like blood and it’s not the usual kind, and she’s pretty sure it isn’t Silent Hill.

After an hour or so of wandering, she’s also decided that she’s tired for once, and Lisa sinks down onto the ground with a sigh.

“Is there anyone around?”

Lisa doesn’t know who the man is, but he currently has his hand on the doorknob of the stairwell leading to the basement.

“That area is off limits, but if you need something, I can help?”
