YOU don't wanna live in Roshar. Not because of the fragile state most of the Kingdoms are. Or the very aggressive fauna. The weird flora. The extreme climate. The storms the size of mountains nor the constant wars between gods. The real issue is those dam spren telling the world how you really feel. Those fuckers call you out each time.

I love Adolin and Renarin's brotherhood being the foil to Dalinar and Gavilar, rather than a repeat or a mirror. Like sometimes they both experience jealousy of one another, or insecurity, but not in a hurtful way. Instead, it's in the way of they think the other is so cool. They care so deeply about each other and want to protect each other and lift each other up. I love them.

There are plenty of reasons for why Clark wants to find and save Krypto.
Clark simply just cares about others, from people to animals (from a squirrel to a fire breathing kaiju) and it’s the right thing to do. Sure, Krypto isn’t a good dog but he’s still a good boy who Clark cares about, and he doesn’t want Krypto to be alone and scared.
All valid motivations that make perfect sense for Clark and who he is.
But I can’t help but think he also didn’t want Kara to commit mass murder to get her dog back. I’m just saying, if she had come back to earth still decently buzzed only to find out that Lex Luthor stole her dog...
Lex is very, very lucky that’s not how things went down.

i think one of the funniest parts of the stormlight archive is that almost all of the characters are murderers who are to different extents haunted by the murders they have committed and the ethics of those murders but one character, specifically, personally murdered both her parents and was 100% justified in doing so

i want all my friends and followers and mutuals and acquaintances to know from the bottom of my heart: i don’t respond to your messages because i’m an insane person, i am insane medieval hermit software running inappropriately on modern queer hardware and social media scares me. it is not your fault

“I don’t take the bus because children annoy me” is the most “I’ve never ridden the bus before” take. it’s almost never kids “causing issues” on the public bus. it’s almost always a 60 year old white person who is inexplicably enraged at everyone around them and also hopelessly lost
