Hi! I found your Sims 4 apocalypse challenge rules and I'm trying it out. I saw that you recently started updating them. Before I found yours, I actually wrote my own for personal use, and I think the ones I wrote are more stringent than yours, lol. I'd love to brainstorm with your, if you'd like. I'm in the middle of a playtest for mine, and I started one for yours as well.

I'm totally up for that! I wanted to keep the spirit of the original but coming up with restrictions that didn't feel like token restrictions was difficult. With the coming eco lifestyle pack, I'll probably be going through and tweaking things further.

I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts and take a look at what you've got. I'd stepped away from the project with Covid and School at Home for the little but I'm itching to get back to it with fresh eyes and a fresh expansion pack next month!

Now that Dormamu is a adult, it’s time to make things forever. Sure, there are no churches or pastors. Sure, there are no wedding dresses or cakes but the deed is done just the same. They’ve eloped!

Nicole, darling, love- he wasn’t even that great. He wasn’t even your husband. Hell, he wasn’t even your boyfriend. He was just your baby daddy and he didn’t even want to share a bed with you in the end. It’s your fault he died, you locked his ass out of the house. Get Over It Already!

When you’re living in the post apocalypse, it’s hard to find reasons to smile sometimes- even if you’ve got twin boys to look after.

And so, one generation begins to come to a close and we prepare for the next to take the reigns... It’s been a long, hard life but Nicole Harper isn’t planning on stopping any time soon

Seriously, NOW mom and dad can get along. Of course, they couldn’t make peace with each other BEFORE she locked him out and ignored him as he slowly starved to death....

Generation One, Days Played: Three

The teen years seemed to fly by. Strange found himself drawn to acting out, gaining a small reputation as the school bad boy. Dormamu however excelled in school and it seems, in love. 

He found himself with a teenage sweetheart who he quickly devoted himself to. Things moved fast, far faster than Nicole would have liked for her teenage son but who was she to judge? The world was something different now, as years have passed. Hadn’t she stuck herself to the first man she found and had the boys? She could only hope that this girl would treat her boy better than she had treated their father. 

With age comes regret and D’s death was perhaps on of her biggest regrets. If only she had let him in, opened the door and given him a meal. He would still be alive, if she had just been a little less stubborn. Oh well, we live and learn- isn’t that right? 

Whatever had exploded the Strangerville power plant had many unexpected side effects. The spirits of departed sims were stronger now. D may have died but he was far from gone. At first, his vengeful spirit filled the nights with broken sinks. It took time but eventually, Nicole and D worked things out as best they could. 

Sure, Dad wasn’t around when Dormamu proposed to his high school sweetheart (much to Mom’s dismay) but his spirit still visited them at night. Dormamu was pleased to at least still have him in his life. 

Before Nicole knew it, the boys were graduating from what passed as a High School. She had told them stories of University- they could hardly believe there had once been a higher education level and all the different career opportunities there had once been. Strange was sure she was pulling their legs. 

Not long after becoming a official adult, Dormamu made good on his promise and married his high school sweetheart. Nicole’s hair became gray with age shortly after but she still had high hopes of finishing her career goals. Just one more promotion than she could stop pushing so hard to climb higher. Just one more. 

Surely she can make it before old age claims her, right?

Don’t tell them they’re too young. Sure, they’re teens but love is love! The happy couple is officially engaged!

Sometimes the memory of what was is better than the reality. Nicole Harper, he wasn’t that great!

It’s hard to look happy when you’re the single mom of twin boys right after the apocalypse. Nicole remembers how easy she had it as a kid and wishes she could give the boys something better. Sadly, this is the hand they were dealt. All she can do is hope the world is a better place for their children some day.

Description:

Here’s another toilet/sink combination for your tiny homes/bathrooms! - This toilet and sink combine to fit on a single tile, but both are functional. - They will both function “Off the grid” too. - The toilet has one medium slot at the bottom. - The sink has two medium slots at the very top next to the taps. One slot next to the basin and one underneath on the shelf. You might need to turn “bb.moveobejcts” on to place in all slots. Sims will sometimes get “autonomous routing” issues, oddly, with the toothpaste holder. Place up on the “toilet top shelf” instead if you’re having trouble. - The sink textures reference the game to keep the files as small as possible, but I added matching recolors for the toilet so each sink has one or more colors to be paired with. There are three sink options: - Front: Your sims will stand in front of the toilet to wash their hands. This saves the most space, but the kids will stand in the toilet…so, I also made… - Right and Left: In these cases sims will stand just to the right or left of the toilet. Choose the sink orientation that best fits your bathroom. Smaller type objects and even bathtubs can often still be placed next to the toilet/sink side at which the sim stands, larger objects sometimes need a little shifting and counters will also fit if placed sideways. -The descriptions in the catalog will tell you which is which. These objects are separate and are found in their sink or toilet categories: - Sinks cost § 150 - Toilet costs § 600 How to use: - Place the toilet. - Hold down the “alt” key to drag the sink onto the back of the toilet.
