Been a while, hasn’t it lol Lots changed. Plenty of reason for me not being online here, though I’ve gone and gotten myself a new account. I’m really into boats now. I don’t really post the same stuff anymore. But I thought I’d make this post as closure. I’m about to be extremely honest about some dark shit, so thanks for stopping by if you don’t wanna read on. Hello, though! My last post on this blog was right before my suicide attempt. I just didn’t have the energy to come back online after that. Escaped an abusive family member, lost two more. I’m doing fine now, for what it’s worth. Moved country, got a job at a theatre, am getting (sometimes) paid acting gigs. I’m also doing a lot of stage combat, always fun.

I really have no idea what possessed me to seek out this blog. But seeing the cringe, the reboots, the fandom stuff, memes etc., it kinda broke my heart. Poor kid didn’t know what was about to hit ‘em. I may delete this blog, sure that was my intention getting my log in details back. I made friends here, though. I was a cringey little kid. And I didn’t want to delete all that without some closure. So, if you do - for some reason! - want to stay in touch, I can add my latest account to this post but more likely I’d just send it in a private message. I doubt anyone will take me up on that, however, and that’s so fair. I’m definitely not the same person I was at 18 (and thank christ for that).

these two little girls came into work today, both black, both with their hair in space buns. and i went “you guys look like a princess i know” and they sighed and went “tiana?” because they were so use to being compared to the only black princess and i went “no. shuri” and omg, the oldest one lit up like a christmas tree. she was like “shuri is my favorite! no one believes she’s a princess!”

The police were called in, and the painting was not shown again until the 1980s.
