Imagine thinking it’s a flex to read a book and “not even remember” one of the important, very prominent characters in that book. That’s why they will never beat the reading comprehension allegations, when they go on and say things like that with their whole chest.

They think they’re being “dismissive” of Gwyn or making fun of her importance just to spite us, but what they’re actually saying is “look, I can’t understand what I read”. Gwyn’s importance in Silver Flames is there, wether you acknowledge it or not. They think it’s giving “she’s not important enough to remember” but what they’re really giving is “I can’t handle reading big books with big words”. Sad. But it explains a lot, actually.

Ah yes Elain is definitely more of a warrior than Gwyn and Emerie who received months of gruelling training from two of the best warriors in all of pyrithian.

Elain, (who has never had any ounce of formal training in her life), is definitely more of a warrior than the two women who survived and won the Blood Rite. (The literal warrior qualifier).

Elain killing one person in a war does not make her more of a warrior than two people who have actually had, and will continue to have warrior training.

Elain is not ACTIVELY training. She killed one person and went back to doing her usual gardening shtick.

And yet she is still somehow more of a warrior than the literal Valkyrie girls? Whose literal plot involves them becoming warriors?

I mean if they want to give Elain sole responsibility for killing Hybern when Nesta finished what she started then it’s only fair to say Gwyn killed the group of Illyrian men when she lead the beast to them. So by my count Gwyn has a higher kill count than Elain. 😊

And also fuck you very much for using Gwyn’s trauma as a punchline. Her body was violated in the most violent horrific way and she’s still coming to terms with it. She wasn’t (and still isn’t) ready to leave the library, she only did that one night to be there for her sister and look what happened?! I swear to fucking god the way some of them talk about rape victims (fictional or not) is a fucking bad ass choice.
