16.) How comfortable are they with being hugged?
Honestly, it would entirely depend on the person that was hugging him. Anna's probably one of the only people that have hugged him (after his mother died, anyway...), and even she doesn't do that often. Most people would rather not get that close to him, and most of the time, he doesn't want them that close, anyway. Basically, you can attempt to hug him but he definitely won't reciprocate and he might try to break your arm or something if he's in a bad mood...

       "Ah...Is that so?"
Mikoto supposed that was a fair enough warning, were her company anyone else. Although he wasn't the heaviest of drinkers, he was confident that he could likely match her shot for shot. In fact, he half wondered if perhaps she wasn't overestimating herself. It was his experience that most women weren't able to handle their alcohol very well. Surprise me.
He wouldn't mind being proved wrong.

"I know a place," he added before turning and walking off, hands in his pockets. If she really were looking for a companion in her pursuit of spirits, then she'd follow. If she didn't, that was fine, too.

Hm...If he were more honest and open with his opinions, Mikoto would have expressed his surprise that Aoba had chosen to tag along with him. There was a certain stubbornness and pride about the younger male that reminded him vaguely of Totsuka. He'd half expected him to exclaim that 'It's fine, it's fine,' and stride off in the opposite direction.
The redhead felt no need for unnecessary prattle (when did he ever have that urge?), so the short distance from their previous location to HOMRA was spent in silence. They reached the bar just in time, for the rain had begun to strike harder against the earth around them. Mikoto entered the bar with little ceremony, pushing the door open just a bit more forcefully than necessary in order to allow time for the blue-haired male to enter behind him.
Tumblr media
"-- You hurt?" Mikoto finally acknowledged Aoba once more, glancing at him from his peripheral as he continued to move through the room toward the steps, ignoring the cautious greetings of the few that remained at the bar.
He figured that what they both really needed was dry clothes and a warm drink, but he reminded himself that the other male was in an unknown condition. Something like concern caused him to give him another once over, noting that he seemed to be favoring one side. "First aid kit should still be in the bathroom..."

14.) What's a childhood memory they'll cherish forever?
Mikoto isn't exactly the sentimental type, but the memories he has of the times spent with Izumo and Totsuka before...everything are very precious to him

His head titled slightly to study her silently for a moment, before he shrugged a shoulder and replied carelessly, "You didn't."
He'd been waiting for a few moments, but it hardly concerned him. Mikoto was inherently lazy, preferring to lounge about and take his time than to go go go, so he surely didn't mind the chance to relax a bit more before embarking on their excursion for the day. Despite his body protesting the idea of moving further than a foot from the couch, the redhead unfolded himself from his seated position and began to move toward the door, hands anchored in his pockets.
Tumblr media
"Food sounds good." Then again, it always did. Food was something Mikoto enjoyed a little more than most other things, and he didn't necessary care what he consumed, so long as it was edible.
Anna probably knew that and was putting the knowledge to good use. She did know him best, better even than Izumo. He reminded himself that he'd agreed to this, and resolved to accept whatever the girl had decided on for their agenda with as little inner grumbling as possible. Though he'd never voice his displeasure, it was often very evident, and for all his tough exterior...Mikoto didn't want to give Anna the idea that he found something irritating about her presence.
His steps were smaller than usual, purposefully shortening his stride so that she could catch up  before adding, "Where do you want to go?"
Anywhere was fine, as long as it was her idea.

The week had been a hectic one, what with rowdy children, nearly dropping a plate of pastries on an already miffed customer, and to think this all occurred at the same location: Cafe Lune. At first, Anna was glad that she would finally be able to help out the Homra members whom she’s come to call a family - in some shape or form, even if the pay wasn’t all that great. However, nobody had warned her how exhausting, and draining working could be. The petite girl felt like keeling over any minute; her inexperienced muscles (or lack thereof) ached, not quite used to the labor of catering to others.

Well, since he'd offered...Mikoto wasn't one to turn down more bacon (or eggs), so he silently scooped both onto his plate with little preamble. The food was more than a little decent, and he was hungry. As he dug in once more, his attention turned to the younger male, eyeing him lazily. While he really wasn't the most observant of persons, Mikoto knew Yata well enough to tell when something was distracting him, and it seemed like there was something he wanted to say, but wasn't sure of where to start.
     '...'
It didn't take long for the words to start spilling out. Yata was talkative enough for the both of them (plus five or so other people), and Mikoto often wondered if he knew the meaning of silence. Not that he particularly minded Yata's chattering. Some aspects of the boy's personality reminded him of a certain old annoyance of his, and he appreciated his enthusiasm when he could be fussed enough to acknowledge it.
He was being facetious. Mikoto often subconsciously considered Yata as a little brother type, but he'd never openly state such.
Tumblr media
Wondering how the topic had shifted from spending a day at Lake Gevi (which sounded just fine to him; he enjoyed lazing in the sun) to a game of cards, Mikoto observed the teen's actions as he finished off his breakfast, uttering approvingly, "Cards is fine."
The redhead was feeling infinitely more awake and relaxed now that his stomach was full and his thirst quenched. Although he wasn't a big fan of card games since he tended to be rather bad at them, it was something to pass the time and didn't require much physical activity, if any. They didn't even have to move. So, yes, it sounded pretty okay to him.
"No. Don't think I've ever played Uno," he continued, eyeing the other male and wondering if the bump to his head had really caused that much damage. "Doesn't matter. Go on and set it up."
Mikoto was never really one to read over rules in order to understand games, which was most likely why he often ended up frustrated when first being introduced to one, especially card games. His first time playing poker had been a trial in patience that had quickly ended in a new game called '50 card pick up.' It wasn't likely that this would end any better.

13.) Cats or dogs?
Neither, really. He slightly prefers cats over dogs, because cats don't require a lot of fuss and can typically take care of themselves and don't really bother you unless they feel like it. Despite the saying that 'dogs are man's best friend,' he never really got along with any well enough to actually want one.

There were a few places that Mikoto had never expected to find himself, and Primavera Apartments was one of them.
He'd been there on business, and he really couldn't leave fast enough. It wasn't that the apartments were shoddy or anything like that (even if they were, he probably wouldn't have noticed, anyway), it was simply the fact that there were so many people lurking about and making an unprecedented amount of noise. The redhead was never fond of areas were large crowds gathered, and he was even less fond of those that couldn't shut the hell up and let peace settle. When he exited the building and finally stood in the sun, he took a deep stabilizing breath and willed the tension to leave his body, tilting his head back ever so slightly to allow the wind to caress his face.
Mikoto had developed a headache, as usual. They plagued him more often than not these day.
Tumblr media
"...Hm?" An unusual sound attracted his attention, the monotonous rhythm of an object hitting pavement at a high speed interesting enough to warrant an investigation.
Hands anchored deep in his pockets, he strolled around the side of the building at a sluggish pace, almost instantly spotting the source of the noise. A young man that appeared to be of a height with the redhead stood on a basketball court, lazily shooting hoops -- and never once missing his mark. Mikoto observed him silently for several long minutes, uncaring whether his presence was noted or appreciated. He's good. The approval was unknowingly voiced out loud, quietly enough that it might have been missed unless one was standing right next to him.
Making up his mind, he stepped forward onto the court, and questioned, "You play...? How 'bout some one-on-one."
The activity might help ease the tightly sprung coil deep within him that threatened to release in as violent a manner as possible.

12.) Have they ever had a crush?
Not really. Mikoto doesn't usually have enough interest in someone to develop any feelings that might be called a 'crush.' Even if he did, he wouldn't use the term, because it's so childish. He was somewhat taken with Honami, his former teacher and Anna's aunt. That is to say, he had a slightly more noticeable soft spot for her than he had for most others. Aside from that, he'd never really felt any special way toward another.

He lifted a brow, somewhat surprised by the slight challenge in her tone, and perhaps a little amused. Anyone else might have taken offense, but she seemed to take it all in stride. Hm.
Tumblr media
"Ah...Guess not." Mikoto didn't make a practice out of airing his thoughts for the world to absorb at their leisure, but that wasn't always the case for others. He'd learned to ignore it, for the most part. "-- Need some company?"
The redhead must have been more bored than he'd assumed, otherwise he would've never made that offer. Huh.

Video games were something that Mikoto had little to no interest in; there were far better ways to spend his time (like 'catching up' on his sleep), and he tended to ignore the general fuss over whatever new series had caught the other's attention. This instance was a notable exception. Para Bellum, it was called, and the premise was not without some interesting points. The game had been released about two months ago, and it had taken him that long to finally pick it up, the curiosity having overwhelmed him. It was just in time for him to join in some new 'event' that had everyone overly excited.
He fumbled a bit with the set up, finding the customization process a little trying. Most of his experience with video games was limited to older systems, and there was nothing quite so advanced as this; Mikoto realized that it might be a little more difficult than he'd thought to become accustomed to the game play, but he was stubborn, and refused to allow himself to be beaten by technology.
W E L C O M E, Suoh_Mikoto.
His chosen 'username' might have been lacking in creativity, but it would certainly be far better than anything some of the other's might have suggested. Even now, he could hear Totsuka suggesting 'King Mikoto,' or something equally cheesy. He observed his surroundings, wondering exactly what he was meant to do. A reminder of the current event entitled 'Starfall Festival' blinked at odd intervals in one corner of the screen, and in the other was a little tutorial. Mikoto completely ignored both helpful hints, and instead began to journey along the road on which he'd spawned.
Tumblr media
"-- Nothing's happening," the redhead noted out loud, eyes narrowing slightly as he observed the highly detailed scenery. He wondered if there were something he was meant to do before the real action began.

Lifting a brow slightly at the expression the other donned, Mikoto surveyed the area silently. The rain continued to beat a hard rhythm against the asphalt, further soaking the fabric of both male's clothing. He paid no attention, as usual, instead focusing on listening for any signs of additional retribution. Mikoto very well knew that where one thug was, there had to be at least two or three others lurking in the shadows. Standing around here and waiting for their arrival was not a prospect he found appealing.
Tumblr media
"Hm~" He couldn't say that he returned the sentiment. Generally, the redhead found these sort of situations more troublesome than they were worth, and he assumed that this person had to be just as troublesome if he were involved. "...We should leave before anymore come 'round."
Since he wasn't in the mood for any further conflict, he decided it was high time to be moving on his way. Mikoto didn't really know why he'd included Aoba in the 'tactful retreat' plan. Perhaps it was because something about him reminded the redhead of a drowned puppy. Whatever the case, he began to walk off, thrusting his hands in his pockets. He didn't turn to see if the blue-haired male was following him, or not. If he wanted to come along or separate their paths, he wouldn't stop him either way.

Mikoto didn't usually concern himself with the business of others, especially when he was so close to his current destination. Not that he was in any particular hurry. He wasn't very interested in anything Tyche's Crown, the place he was being forced meant to offer his patronage to this evening, had to offer. Perhaps that is why he allowed the words he'd happened to overhear by chance to distract him from his goal.
Tumblr media
"-- I don't think that's something you should broadcast." It might give people the wrong impression. Not that he was worried, or anything.

The night was young and so was Shura. With all her classes papers graded and her lesson plans done which meant she could relax tonight.
Shura found herself in the entertainment district. Walking she watched as people passed her, “I think I could go for a drink.” Then again, she hated drinking out alone, maybe she could find a drinking buddy.

No. He doesn't believe in things that can't be seen with the naked eye and superstitious nonsense.
