The Call of a Lifetime
I am sorry that I have not been posting in a while, my days have been very busy and very filled. I wanted to stop by and give you an update on my case for finding my daughter, Olivia.
It was Tuesday when I get a call from an unknown number. I ignored it because I am so used to getting those ridiculous calls, you know the robocalls. but it rang 5 times hung up and called right back. I picked up on the 3rd ring of the second call and thats when I heard a soft voice! I had a hard time hearing the voice so I turned everything off and ask who it was. and I heard her say “Mom?” It was my Olivia!!!! She called me! She is alive!!!!! She said that she loves me and misses but, but she said she is ok and that she is being treated right. I wanted to jump through the phone and grab her! Sigh!
I don’t know where she is or who has her but I heard her voice. I heard the voice of an angel. This gives me more hope that she will come home. She remembered me! She knew she could call me!!
Olivia hunny! If you read these posts if you see these blogs know that I love you!!!! I am not mad at you!!! I do not blame you for any of this!!! If you can find anyway to come home please do!! We will figure life out together!!
I LOVE YOU SWEET LIVY!!!!

Facing the things that scare you is one of the ways to break past them.  Stare a cat in the eye long enough with out blinking and the cat will turn his head and you will be able to walk past him. The same goes for those things that cause you to be afraid to move on!
Facing the trafficking industry eye to eye will break them down and we will be able to walk right past them and save our children!!!

Wear Your Mask First.
So many time I wonder what my poor daughter is going through in the world out there wherever she may be. I get angry and I sometimes loose courage and faith that she will come home. But then I begin to think of how she may be feeling. She is in the situation I am not. She is living in the wilderness of this world, and I am in a warm comfortable bed by a fire place. When I start to think of how she may be laying on a cold wet floor, I start to cry. But then I do begin to see that I am still in a way safe. I feel the feelings I feel because I am human and my daughter is missing, but then I think I am alive. Am I selfish for being grateful for not being in my daughters situation? And then I am reminded of a message my pastor taught.
His message was called Mayday. He gave the analogy of being in a plane with your child and the plane lost power and is about to crash. The stewardess tells the parents to put the oxygen on themselves and not their children. Sounds selfish right? Yep, thats what I thought. But then he went on to say the reason for this logic is if you as the parent were to die from lack of oxygen, who would care for your child? WOW!
If I ignore the things I need to do to survive then when Olivia comes home i will be no good to her. I will be without oxygen, without life. So no it is not selfish that I am grateful for having a war cozy bed to get proper rest in, because when my sweet princess comes home, I will be able to help nurse her back to health, because I will be string.

Hello My Name is Redmondea Red. I am a fictitious character from an awareness story called “Olivia From Hood”. This story is to spread awareness about human trafficking. This is my blog and my story of being a victim of this very much increasing epidemic of human trafficking. My daughter may be lost at this moment but I have hope that she will return to me.
*This book is a current event twist on the children’s book, “Little Red Riding Hood”. Story was inspired by a song called, “(Olivia) Lost and Turned Out” by the Whispers in 1978. The song is about a young girl who was distracted by a man and became a slave to him by ways of prostitution. Human trafficking is an increasing epidemic that needs to be addressed and needs to become an awareness to everyone of all ages. I hope this story can be part of the healing process to ending Human Trafficking and slavery.*
