i doubt u remember me but i sent an ask months and months and months ago about how my mormon mother is a child psychologist who believes in porn addiction. i am still regularly arguing with her about this and at one point recently it got to a point where i was like "next you're gonna be saying anything that makes you feel good is an addiction; dopamine addiction is the new drug epidemic" and she was like "dopamine addiction is Absolutely a thing?" like *i* was the stupidest person in the world and it's just. ohhhh god someone needs to stop her
do you guys remember that scene in Mad Max Fury Road where the movie's terrible villain, Immortan Joe, is telling his miserable slave cult not to get "addicted to water" because then they'll want water too much. asking for no particular reason.
