Cass's spirit world outfit is so underrated

ABSOLUTELY. Top tier outfit all around!!

BANDAGE WRAPS MY BELOVED!! I also love the high collar that she can pull up. I feel like if Cass could retain this outfit she should just wear this casually tbh, like this slapssss. Haining's design sketches are also sooo cool!!

I kinda really like the over-one-shoulder cape of the A design, I'm just a big fan of over-the-shoulder capes in general. But I love the looseness of the robe + the obvious Chinese cultural influences in B, it makes me think of Cass in a Chinese period drama 😭.

As far as I know this is her only outfit that draws inspiration from Chinese culture (BY A CHINESE ARTIST + WRITER. EVIL CASS DOES NOT COUNT) so I really love it!!! Everyone read Spirit World!!!

For my original story (which features royalty) the main 'couples' are a pair that's just been arranged to marry that actually fall in live and a pair that's been in an arranged marriage for years with two kids but not in love at all and one of them is aroace and wants her wife to please confess to the guard she's been crushing on for years

I like to think Fortnite is real in DC and Bernard plays but doesn't play as Robin and Tim is kind of offended by Bernard default dancing on downed Robins as Sabrina Carpenter while saying "You're not, let's go tell them you're not"

Look I have many thoughts but not a lot is solid

But also spoilers ahead bc something aren't in the anime just yet

Oh and I like to call them Suidou for a ship name

So first off, they're both just so queer coded that I do not believe that they are straight nor cis

Ah-dou canonically calls Suirei Sui which I just find cute af

Just I love the idea of them falling in love as they raise the Shi clan children together. Like sometimes a family is a divorced butch, attempted murderer with medical knowledge and their adoptive should be dead children.

I also think Jinshi finding out woulf be funny especially after light novel volume 15 where he may have found out that Ah-Dou is his biological mother

On that note like mother like son with their apothecaries

I think they would both take a long time to realize their feelings but the second they do, it's not slow burn.

Suirei is definitely affection starved and emotionally stunted so she definitely takes longer to a) realize she loves Ah-Dou and b) Ah-Dou loves her

Like I'm thinking she realizes she loves Ah-Dou and then they sort of get together with like caste kisses and hand holding and only realizes Ah-Dou loves her when Ah-Dou is between her legs eating her out like she's the best tasting dessert

Ah-Dou realized she was attracted to Suirei the second she met her, and the feelings developed over time

I also think their relationship would so complex given who they are and what they have done
