My villain origin story is generalized linear mixed models (GLMMs). I’m definitely a real human being and not an escaped laboratory experiment. Also responsible for @wuthering-valleys, @made-of-stars-c2000, @ravenwinterwriting, and @KiraKiralina (ao3). Sometimes I emerge from the hole I live in to drop several chapters of fic for an old fandom and then disappear again for months. I am however always super happy to discuss The Characters.

You can and should write fanfiction that isn't perfect. You can and should write whatever fanfiction you want. You can and should write fanfiction that brings you joy even if it's silly or goofy or weird.
Except for me. My fanfic has to be perfect and read like a novel and ruin at least one person's sleep schedule.

one of my favourite genres of character is , specifically a doctor or scientist who is So deeply evil coded but they're a member of the good guy team & actively helping. & theyre not even a reformed villain theyre just like that. going hehehehehee in their dark scary lab while developing an device that will actually help a lot of people

Steve: What’s your type?
Bucky: Kind, smart and also dumb, brave, and a good fighter.
Steve: That kinda sounds like me. Too bad I’m not a woman.
Bucky: Did I mention dumb?
Steve: Yes.
Bucky: Good. Just making sure.

Tony and Peter work as the chaotic parent and calmer, smart child dynamic pretty well I daresay. My argument is strengthened when you remember that Peter keeps his identity a secret to protect his family, and Tony doxxes himself to terrorist groups.

Say what you want to about the X-Men movies, but Rogue telling Logan he should wear a seat belt and him scoffing at her only to immediately be thrown through the front windshield was the most Wolverine™️ thing that could have possibly happened.

Charles Xavier knowing that Mystique is a shapeshifter and putting cerebro in a room that only requires a retina scan to get into was possibly one of the dumbest things he’s ever done.

Bucky: what? Why?
Ava: because she's an idiot
Bob: they can do that?
