“Yeah, wouldn’t want April getting worried...although she is the kinda person who would go out on a manhunt lookin’ for ya...”
Raph pulled himself away from the ledge, waiting to send Sam off.
“Guess I’ll see you tomorrow? Unless, you’re busy or whatever...just call Donnie, he’ll let you know...”
Raph stood there, not knowing what else to say or do. He hated saying goodbye because he didn’t know what else to do after Sam left. He loved having her around and she was someone he could actually talk to. He didn’t really like going back home to where no one really listened and understood what he had to say.

“He’s all talk...says he hates you...actually, he might actually be tellin’ the truth,”
Raph gave Sam a teasing grin as he shrugged his shoulders.
“Nah, he just doesn’t like to be shown up. The second someone is on his level or even better than him, he loses it.”
Raph’s gaze moved from Sam to the topside view of the city from where he sat, looking down at the busy traffic of the night.
“This city never sleeps, huh? Which reminds me, aren’t you gonna turn in soon, Sam?”

Raph glanced over at Sam as he took a seat on the ledge of the rooftop they were on. He had invited her, against Leo’s displeasure, for their nightly patrol. It was always more fun with Sam tagging along.
