Excuses himself to the cleaning supplies section so he doesn't have to answer a bunch of questions about why last week he made Yaz realize she was a lesbian and told her that they couldn't be together because she could never settle down, and then immediately turned into a gay man and retired with his heterosexual bestie. Realizing there's no way out of the store without passing one or both of them, he simply tries to blend in with all the brooms and hopes the moment passes.

One thing I will say about voice actors is ive seen people saying that Caboose is easy to recast and I kinda really disagree? Any character is hard to recast after 17 seasons because the audience knows that characters voice so well but also you have to admit, Caboose's voice is pretty unique

I've seen people come close to his voice, but not quite there, and you have to remember that whoever voices him need to be able to do so for a range of emotions and situations, cabooses voice doesn't stay the same tone all the time

very weird and culty that suddenly fans think you MUST work at rooster teeth to voice in rvb now. most of rwby’s cast doesn’t work there, most of rvb’s cast hadn’t worked there since the bgc. dunno why it’s suddenly an issue now unless rt is trying to cut costs and use ppl already on the payroll to avoid paying actors. but surely it can’t be that, right?

Maybe a controversial take but I have to say that while I dont think the diversity in the og rvb characters was great, I still think rvb zero was equally dissapointing in that regard, especially for a season that was championed for being being more diverse

im guessing just a difference in the definition of “gamer bro” is the root of the issue here. like when i say the rvbs are a group of gamer bros, im not saying they’re basically alt right nazis or something, i’m saying when i go to microcenter and see this relic of a mousepad for sale i instantly think “wow simmons would absolutely love this”

I think the issue is just coming from a more casual use of the term gamer bro, I think its just been watered down over time, ive seen it used to refer to rvb a lot, I think a lot of people use it to mean "vaguely shitty gamers" so a lot of early rvb stuff gets referred to as "gamer bro humour"

IDK who needs to hear this rn but the reds and blues aren't as "gamer bro" as you think they are.

I think its funny how so many people have said that zero had to happen bc so many of the og voice actors left RT but now a bunch of the zero crew have left rt too

Must clarify here, when I say it needed better writers, I mean better than the rvb zero writers, this is not a diss on Jason, this blog loves and supports Jason Weight writing rvb 😌

Yknow as opposed to many other fans i dont think RvB needed to end, I think it couldve kept going and wouldve still been enjoyable. I just think it needed better writers

Also, people talk about how long rvb has been going on but forget that its format means it isn't actually that long, the seasons are all split into individual story arcs, so instead of having one really long story, we have like 5 shorter, interconnected stories. And, all the seasons are only 1-3 hours long, there's tv shows where the entire run of rvb would be like three or four seasons
