Here is what I have been working on for the past few weeks. It took a while to find the materials and deal with broken parts. I had to but a total of three USB chargers before I found one that worked. It was difficult traveling so far to find parts but now I have figured out most of the electronics. Now whats left is attaching my water turbine to this and testing it. I will have more updates later.

Hi everyone, I have not posted in a while, the project has been a bit confusing up until now. You have all seen my prototype of a water turbine that could generate electricity just by being fitted onto a shower head. However, there was a major flaw in that turbine, the belt it was using placed too much friction on the turbine shaft, causing it to be slow and require a highly pressurized jet of water to operate. This was the main problem (along with the electronics, which I am still having trouble with), up until now. I have created a totally new prototype that is smaller, easier to use, and does not require a very strong current of water. The movie is coming along nicely, though I do need to work out some more things before I can post it. (It is pictured above along with my first prototype for size comparison and my hand for real world comparison.)

The moment has arrived! The turbine has been successfully completed and all parts connected and waterproofed. The battery pack has not yet been developed but the turbine itself has been completed on time. While it is only able to process on high pressure settings, the friction and movement slows down the water and makes it comfortable.

After a bit of time I have attached the belt and waterproofed the interior. Also the cap on the water inlet has been added to increase water flow.

Water turbine quick update
Water proof casing found still looking for belt
ATTENTION
If anyone has this kind of usb plug and they would not mind giving it away, I would very much appreciate it. If you have a USB extension cord that you would not mind selling also that would be very helpful. Thanks

Update on water turbine #2
The project is at a bit on a stand still looking to find a water proof case. Unfortunately there is no one available to assist but the turbine is coming together well
