Coworker died of Covid pneumonia - And yeah they were a former smoker, but otherwise healthy and in their 50s/60s. Still died of covid. Most of the people that died were middle aged and older and had health issues, but it was still covid that caused their deaths.

Your point? I have severe asthma NOW after getting Covid. Again, I had very mild asthma before.

No, I didn’t need medication for many years and was totally fine with just my rescue for emergencies which I rarely needed. Asthma medication does not work if you do not need it and can actually make you worse so no I should not have been on medicine. Long COVID made my asthma worse.

I know how common asthma is. It’s very common, your point? My friend happened to get worse after covid and not get better, we both had asthma before, it just got worse after covid.

All the deaths I mentioned were confirmed COVID which is why I mentioned them, all of them died on ventilators at the hospital. Also your final word is so childish, why is it that you get to argue with others online and be in the right but if I do it I have anxiety?

I lost my cousin who was 32 and healthy to covid pneumonia before the vaccine was approved in 2020, my friend lost her dad a year or so later, my moms coworker in her 50s/60s died too, I (at the time 17 yo) almost died of an asthma attack twice and still suffer from severe asthma which I take meds for every day. My asthma wasn’t medicated for over 5 years until I got COVID, now I can’t go a week without my preventative and it’s been almost 4 years since, and yes I’ve tried going off it multiple times, still can’t because I still need it. I have a friend with asthma who went through the same exact thing. Everybody I know lost at least one person to COVID. COVID is off people’s radar now because we’ve built our immunities to it and the vaccine makes symptoms less severe. The next couple times I got COVID after the first weren’t bad at all for me because I already had it once and got the vaccine, but it was by my second time that my friends dad died in 2021/2022. Say whatever you want about the politics of it but the deaths were real.
