It was the second day of Electric Forest festival in Rothbury, Michigan when I stumbled upon The Accidentals- a small group of young musicians from Michigan that completely, for lack of a better expression, rocked my socks off. Their music reflected their upbeat and seemingly nurturing feminine glow- and instantaneously I fell in love. Their songs brought every person in the crowd closer together- there were about 30 or 40 people there- dancing WITH one another rather than side by side- which is what I believe the festival is truly all about. Listening to them today fills me with love and energy from that moment- which will forever remain in my heart as one of the best experiences I've had.

Dana sent me this yesterday and I could not stop smiling. I do not recall this whatsoever, but I believe it is from Friday of Electric Forest, when I was vibrating hard on some high frequency (Hence the silly smile) and just before my partner in crime had an intense and proper introduction to herself and the hidden world around her. I can’t wait for next year!
