Regulus Magnus Black headcanons in no particular order

Regulus already know how to cast all 3 unforgivables before meeting Sebastian, at least in theory

He's a maximalist, his style is quite unusual

He absolutely adores the Sallow twins, not only his bf Sebastian, but he'll do anything for Anne

During his time at Beauxbatons Regulus dated a boy named Alexander Delacour, and Sebastian is a bit jealous

He calls Sebastian Bas/Baz. At the beginning Sebastian felt weird about it but now he's used to it, and hates when Regulus calls him by his full name or his last name. Sebastian won't let anyone else call him Bas/Baz tho. In exchange instead of calling Regulus for his common nicknames Reggie/Rex he calls him his Rabbit, but Regulus actually enjoys it.

Rex is very clingy/touchy with specific people. He really loves cuddles and will get them at any cost. So it's quite common seeing him cuddling with Ominis, Anne or Sebastian. Sometimes even Poppy and Amit. Even in rare occasions With Natty or Gareth. It was weird at first. But people got used to it. And the weird rumours stopped after some people got cursed with the pimple jinx or the jelly legs jinx.

On this note it's also quite common to see him walking hand in hand with his boyfriend or his friends.

Anne and Ominis start dating not long after she returns to Hogwarts.

He once jinxed a girl who asked him to deliver a loveletter to Sebastian. He used the Jelly legs and the pimple jinx as a nasty combo. He got caught and got detention, but he doesn't regret it.

It taught other students not to target his boyfriend as a love interest if they don't want to know how nasty Regulus can be with his jinxes.

Anne pretends to get mad when she finds Regulus and Ominis Cuddling, but always end up joining them and enjoying the affection of both boys

On rare occasions Sebastian finds them and joins in, becoming a mass of cuddles and giggles

The four of them are known as the Slytherin quartet. Equally admired and feared. But they're usually joined by Rex friends Natty, Poppy, Amit, Imelda and Garreth, even Leander sometimes.

Rex speaks English, French and Spanish.

Regulus has a vault at Gringotts full of galleons and muggle money. He opened it when he moved to London, with the money his father inherited him and his mother after he passed away. He keeps this a secret from the Black family, as they also opened a vault for him as part of their deal.

Regulus introduced the the girls to muggle literature, they loved it. He started with Pride and Prejudice, the girls fangirl over Mr. Darcy for weeks, he enjoyed watching the boys get jealous of a fictional man. He already had his Mr. Darcy fever long ago, his crush was already over, but he liked to play along just to see Sebastian sulking in jealousy. He didn't play long though, he didn't like to watch Sebastian so worked up for no reason.

Regulus Magnus Black Backstory

He was born a half-blood wizard to Bob Hitchens and his wife Iola Hitchens (neé Black). His parents moved to the south of France after their wedding to get away from the Black family. his mother found it quite amusing, coming back to the black family origins to get away from the the family. He was born in France, his first years were quite happy. Sadly he lost his father when he was very young. He didn't have many memories of his father, but the few he had were some of his happiest memories, his little treasure. Despite the painful loss, he had a happy childhood with his mother in their mansion in Biarritz. Unfortunately while he was cursing first year at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic his mother was diagnosed with dementia, and near the end of his fourth year he had to go back home because Iola dementia got worse and attacked one of the maids. She had to be admitted in the psychiatric wing at St. Mungo. He had to leave his life and his boyfriend behind and move to London. That's when the Blacks contacted him.

They didn't want the rumours of a “mudblood" Black spreading in the British magical community, so they offered to take care of Iola medical bills, but he had to accept being "adopted" by Phineas Nigellus Black. He wouldn't care less about money, his father left his mother and him quite a fortune when he passed away. But he was afraid the Blacks could do something to his mother, so he had no option. From that moment he'd become Regulus Magnus Black, he had to leave his father's last name behind.

He had to create a whole new identity before starting his fifth year a Hogwarts.He was the eldest son of Phineas Nigellus Black, who studied abroad in France, as an exchange student at Beauxbatons but recently came back because he missed his family. What a load of bullcrap.

The Blacks have him one of the many unused properties they had in London so he could move in. He was sincerely thankful he didn't have to live with Phineas and his family. Still he had to participate in social events and parties. He wasn't good at this kind of events. At least Phineas jr was good company, the only member of the Black family he feels comfortable with.

The New school year was approaching dangerously fast. Thankfully Phineas Nigellus asked Professor Fig to help him catch up with Hogwarts curriculum before starting the his new 5th year at a new School.

He had quite the stormy start of his 5th year (his first year at Hogwarts) being attacked by a dragon, seeing a man devoured in front of his eyes, discovering ancient magic. What a ride.

He finally arrived at Hogwarts to get sorted into his house. The hat took his time to finally shout: Slytherin. Did he expected something different? Another Black to Slytherin.

Once Professor Weasley led him to his new common room he meet some interesting figures. Ominis Gaunt, a pure blood descendant of Salazar Slytherin who agreed with his view's on the whole blood purity nonsense. Imelda Reyes, interesting girl whit a sense of humour very similar to his own, a bit obsessed with quidditch, but interesting none the less. And the last to catch his eye Sebastian Sallow an intelligent and charming boy with a knack for forbidden knowledge and passion to find a cure for his sister as much as he wants to find one for his mother. Maybe you could help eachother out, it seems he was right you are kindred spirits.

In the middle of their quest to find a cure for their loved ones, he fell in love with Sebastian. It took him a while to confess his feelings, but in the end he reunited every ounce of his courage and confessed to the other boy. Thankfully his feelings were accepted and returned.

After that fateful day in the catacombs, he and Ominis try to keep Sebastian out of trouble. For Christmas he gave them an invisibility cloak, quite difficult to find, but he was able to trade some Demiguise hair for a couple of phoenix feathers. He also learnt the Geminio charm to make a copy of the restricted section key. Now they had almost unrestricted access to the restricted section.

How did he not notice that before. After looking so much, the solution to cure Anne and Iola might have been much simpler than ancient magic or dark magic. He read in heavy book an entry about Nicolas Flamel, the only known alchemist to have achieved the creation of the Philosopher's stone, also called the elixir of life, capable of turning any metal into gold, healing any malady and even extending life. He gathered some of the finest materials from his vivarium, asked Black for money, and permission to go to Paris for a couple of days, an just like that he prepared the trip to La Rue Montmorency with his friends and boyfriend to try convince Nicolas Flamel to help them cure their loved ones.

Physical peculiarities: has a small “crown” around his pupil in the right eye, but it's usually unnoticeable unless you stand eye to eye with him. He has freckles, he hates them but his mother loves them, she says it reminds her of his father. He also has a beauty mark on his left side below his lower lip and many small moles in neck and back.

Way of walking: he usually carries an air of nobility around him. Almost like a young lord. That's how he was educated.

He also rambles in French or Spanish when he's angry or frustrated. Not to be snobby but because he thinks French and Spanish curses are way more delicious to pronounce and they're just beautiful.

Phineas Nigellus Black: He's a bothersome man. He only sees him as a piggy bank to get money from time to time. He wonders how would the Black family react if they knew that his father left him and his mother quite a fortune before passing away.

The Black family: He hates them, and only agreed with their plan so his mother's would be safe in Saint Mungo's. He couldn't care less about their blood purity bullshit, after all he's a half-blood to begin with.

Natty Onai: Best Buddies for life, platonic soulmates. She's the extrovert that his introverted ass needed. Also shopping buddies, Natsai seems to be the only one to share his obsession with fashion and retail therapy.

Garreth Weasley: Joy! Regulus have so much fun Garreth, he's always up to help him with his experiments. He's sure Garreth will be a great potions master in the future. Sure he fails a lot now, but everyone does in the begging. He appreciates his friendship with Garreth quite a lot. He's one of the few male students he feels comfortable with, he usually prefers female company.

Leander Prewett: Regulus don't like him that much. It's nothing personal, it just feels like Leander is exactly the kind of person he would try to avoid. Even though the readhead had been nothing but kind to him.

Sebastian Sallow: His handsome, intelligent and charming friend (for now). Both of them are looking to help a loved one with a maladies that seems incurable. They will stop at nothing to find a cure for Anne and Iola. Maybe some other feelings will awaken in them in the process.

Ominis Gaunt: Cute and somewhat vulnerable. A reliable friend. Regulus feel very protective of Ominis and will not condone anyone who offends his friend. They both have families obsessed with blood purity nonsense, and feel comfortable with each other.

Imelda Reyes: Sarcastic queen, Regulus love spending time with her silently judging other students and sharing jokes. He only avoids her when she's trying to convince him to join the quidditch team. She from Latin American ascendency so they can talk in Spanish if they want to share something they don't want others to know.

Poppy Sweeting: Can you have more than one platonic soulmate? With Poppy it definitely looks like it. He adores Poppy, she's the sweetest girl he had ever met.He fees very protective of her, similar to what Ominis makes him feel. They share so many things, they are both introverts with similar special interests, one day when they both lost track of time they got detention for a week for coming back to the castle at 3 am.

Amit Thakkar: Amazing just amazing, he feels privileged to have such a talented wizard for a friend. He taught him how to find Regulus his star in the night sky among the stars in the Leo constellation. He also sometimes played his violin for him, when the noise in the castle overwhelmed him. He was lucky to have Amit as his friend.

Alexander Delacour: His ex. Both of them knew that their relationship was just to have a good time, it wasn't made to last, but still their abrupt break up still hurts. They were together only because their bodies were compatible and had fun with one another, their break up was just due to Regulus suddenly having to move to London because of his mother condition. He still misses Alexander touch from time to time, but he's slowly starting to get over it.
