GeorgeRegis and I WG attempting to send me to collections for a virtual office that they bought four different people on the same dates
Regus and Iwg virtual office is a complete scam that target small businesses and double box the same office space and invoices you fortunately making a contract and after numerous attempts to terminate this account that doesn’t exist they are still threatening me with collections for $400. This is so comical and so funny that one of their representatives sent me An email and forgot that the cut and paste logo was an attachment to her email addressThis company it’s already under investigation and to avoid anyone from attempting to go to the virtual office knowing that they triple booked the same people in the same office is at the same time they make excuses up that the office is closed for coronavirus they office is closed because of maintenance every single week there’s a different excuse on why the office is closed and I get these emails and read them because it’s quite comical there a scam stay away they should be all put Federal prison

Retainer/deposit not returned
Have used regus for many years with various results to levels of service. In my most recent experience, I closed a virtual office with them and requested the retainer/deposit to be refunded. The retainer has not been returned even though it is weeks after the 30 day wait period from account closure!

Update
To Regus' credit, Mr. Sharpe, the global VP, immediately responded from Zurich, Switzerland and addressed the complaint I posted just two days ago. The full refund I had demanded is now in the process of being issued. I expect that Regus' home office will be implementing training and policies for its U.S. operation, the result of which should alleviate confusion as to its leasing policy and benefit all of us. Thank-you Mr. Sharpe, for your understanding and quick action. Mark McDonald

V.P. Soloar Marketing
Regus Is a great company and through there flexible programs have really allowed my company to grow. By being a customer of Regus it has allowed me to focus on my companies bottom line and profit. We have grown by 40% in the last 6 months by becoming a customer of Regus and using there Virtual Office and Meeting rooms around the world. I believe that in everything there are going to be some unhappy people but I most say my experience from a business stand point has been great and I appreciate the service and spaces they provide.

Don’t work for Regus
I’ve been at regus for a while in RVA. And all want to say is there whole set up is dumb. They nickel and dime their customers. They don’t care and people’s business. My biggest issue is management. The sales manager doesn’t even know what the hell shes doing. Constantly fucking up and blaming everyone but her dumb ass. She messes deals up and then we at the center level are left fixing it her mistake. Sometimes it can take months. And the manager over all the centers eat the shit out her ass. I mean believes everything she says then come to us like we aren’t doing our jobs. This is a constant. Smh. I can’t wait to quit in their asses.

I leased a small office at Regus mid December 2019 for the rate of $520.00/ month. The move in cost was the prorated amount for December or approximately $269.00, plus payment for the next month of January or 808.29, and one month's deposit or retainer of $520 for a total up front cost of $1366.84.
This was quite a number just to move in to a $520.00 office space (10ft x 12ft)
But wait, there's more!
Just 3 weeks later, (remember I have already paid for a month and half) I received another invoice for $1095.35 for February's rent, kitchen amenities for Dec. and ANOTHER $520 RETAINER.
So here I am, I rented an office space for $520/mo and in three weeks time I am billed for $2,462.19.
After multiple requests for clarification, someone finally told me that since I was month to month instead of a long term lease that they required the second month's deposit. This was not brought to my attention when I signed up.
Meanwhile, I had a virtual office in another Regus location where I was being charged roughly $65.00/mo and when I signed up for the physical office I was told that the virtual office contract would be automatically terminated...it wasn't and they continued to charge my credit card for 3 months, even after multiple requests from me to get this situation resolved.
At this point, my frustration drove me to cancel and I was informed that not only will I have to pay in full for next month (no prorating) but that I will be charged $200-$300 dollars for "Cleaning etc" just for moving out.
Transparency and customer service are non existent in this company from my point of view, and just the fact that this website exists lends credence to my assumptions.

Sued them in Small Claims Court and had them stop their false Collections
They have a Failed rating on BBB due to their deliberate and misleading manner of renewals and continued billing post termination. They owed me retainer and over-billed amounts post terminating their agreement. They also fraudulently billed for calls when I never physically used their location. 'Call patching' which is call forward is part of call answering virtual office service. My only contract signed with them states that is complimentary yet they billed me for that. So when I received their harassing collection calls and email I sued them in small claims court and instead of paying me the amount they just cancelled their false collections. This company must be taught a lesson and anyone who is open for class action lawsuit will get our support. If you sue them in small claims court what we learnt is that you should ideally sue them in name of your company or LLC and we did not know that but next time we will be wiser for that. However we got them to court and we got them to cancel their collections fraud. If you have similar hassles with this company, then keep all records arrange a timeline of events and take them to small claims court.

Regus is the most corrupt company in North America
I cannot overemphasize just how much Regus SUCKS!!! They will nickel and dime you left, right, up, down, any which way they CAN! I left the Herndon, VA property in December 2019 and had my account completely paid up to date. Little did I know that the "office restoration fee" would not come off my retainer automatically but that I needed to log back in to MyRegus and pay the damn thing. Now I have two $75 late fees attached to that. Also, the con-artists slapped me with a $600 "business continuity fee" that I did not authorize. Apparently it is AUTOMATICALLY applied to ones account whether you realize it or not or want it or not. The business continuity fee is a service they provide to forward mail and field your phone calls once you leave their property. Neither of these things were done for me because 1) I did not even use a Regus phone line, I used my personal cell phone my entire tortured tenure there. Also, no mail was forwarded to me (I typically receive 1 or 2 pieces per week of junk mail anyway, nothing of value). I am BEYOND PISSED because they are a bunch of CROOKS!! I have REGUS and would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!!!

Not only has working with them over the past years been horrid, trying to leave them is just as bad. They are shutting down the center where I am and want to charge $60 for forwarding the mail monthly and refusing to allow me to have my phone number I had for 6 years.

Paid for over counter service and was illegally entered into a virtual office contract.
The over the counter service I paid for was never delivered either. Here is the story
I am diagnosed with OCD an Americans with Disabilities recognized desease. This is why I needed the mail I had in boxes scanned up to my drop box. This is why I went to Regus in the first place. To hire someone to scan my mail to my drop box and organize my mail into folders. The people at Regus where informed of my legal disability upon my hiring them over the counter.
I hired “over the counter” services to scan 3 years of my mail, organize it into hanging folders by month and upload the scans to my drop box. This was agreed to and I gave the counter woman, “Angela” my credit card to charge the $280 dollars estimated to do the work. She kept the card number (without my knowledge) on file to charge for the work as it progressed.
I also asked if I could have my “corporate” Post Office send me next day folders once or twice a month and alert me when that mail arrived. I was never alerted.
Several months passed, my card was being charged, I assumed for this work and when I dropped by to see how the work had progressed, I was informed the lady working on it had quit and a new person was on it. I asked if any post office folders had arrived and they said no. However important documents had been sent by my corporate Post Office.
This went on for about a year, during that year, when checking my file boxes I discovered 4 next day envelopes I had never been alerted about that had been sent over the last 4 months. In that batch was urgent IRS communications that caused a default issue for my business.
Another one of these envelopes was thrown out by another Regus employee that had my vehicle registration it and I had to redo that entire process.
All of this was in preparation for my move back to Wyoming, primarily I just wanted my old mail scanned or organized. This job just never got done and I was given excuses after excuses. I also came to realize they had been charging my card every month without authorization and that amount had now reached over $1200 and the scanned and organized mail never occurred.
There is a lot more to this story, like the office personnel making comments to me my company was not doing well from reading my bank statements and correspondence (a total violation of my privacy).
This year 2020 in February in disgust I came to the office to pick up the promised completion of the job and found it still had not been done. I picked up all my boxes of unsorted, unfiled and un scanned mail, verbally told them to stop charging me and threatened to file a lawsuit for their unprofessional and outright theft from my credit card.
The following month I got charged again while in the process of moving and the surge of Covid 19 cases occurring in the US.
In April finding that I had again been charged I called Regus and talked to Anthony. He informed me they had nothing signed to charge my card or set up a virtual office and apparently one of the previous office employees had set up a virtual account, without my knowledge or permission and my card was being charged monthly for a service I didn’t ask for or approved.
Furthermore, to legally charge my card, you must have a signed notarized document from me giving you permission to charge me, which you do not have.
This is my formal demand you refund in full all the charges taken from my card and terminate that illegal virtual office false agreement we supposedly have.
When this Covid19 threat is over, and I have not received full refund, I will be filing a civil and small claims lawsuit against you.

SSDD from the crooks at Regus
I won't bore you with the round trip details of the battle royale I have been in with these losers.
The latest of which is my 21 yr phone number that I pay the $50+ per month has not been answered or only sparatically improperly answered "Hire Productive" or disconnected altogether. The latter with regularity. I have 3 companyies housed there. So today, I say uncle, I want out. Oh contrare, they say I am stuck until November with 2 companies and til March of next year with my primary one. Has anyone simply walked given they are stealing money for services they are not providing?

Hi Im a self employed person who needs a coworking space in Virginia and regus is the only service available here. I reached out them and they offered 300$ A month for dedicated desk and I declined. Recently they reached me out with 50% off offer so its close to $180. This offer seems very tempting but im worried that given the horrible history they might scam me. Pls advise??

One more Regus victim
I have paid all my invoices. I have an email from them too that my account balance is 0 and still they put my account for collection for a random amount. I have asked the collection company for details about why I owe Regus that amount. They don't have an explanation, but insists I pay them that amount. The collection company keeps on harassing me. Has anyone went with a similar ordeal? Any pointers on how I can get them of my back ?
