class of 09 girls + their aesthetics bc i’m tired of people not getting them.
(minor tw for sh & ed):
jecka: she’s literally a preppy, trendy 2000s teen. she wears lacoste/abercrombie polo shirts, hollister skinny jeans, american eagle, bebe jackets, and juicy couture. a lot of her clothes come from her mom’s job, as apparently her mom gets them for free.
she is a “pharma-princess” and openly idolizes paris hilton. she smokes cigarettes and casually abuses painkillers. she may be a little trashy, but she dresses like any other fashionable girl from that era.
nicole: for starters, shes lower middle class. her mom buys the cheapest internet and cable packages, as well as having nicole on the assisted lunch plan. with that being said, she’s not buying a ton of miss me jeans, bb belts, or affliction shirts. shes a hot topic/spencers fiend bc she can steal it. her outfits are usually a hoodie, tank top, or t-shirt with ripped skinny jeans- which is to say they aren’t very complicated. i think people get confused and try and dress her in the modern “y2k” fashion, but it doesn’t really work for her.
shes severely depressed and winning the idagf war, which is shown in her makeup and nails. i think her makeup routine is very messy and smudged, but thats lowkey the look.
emily: shes rich, but she doesn’t care or acknowledge it. she can buy whatever she wants, but chooses to go for the grungey/emo look. even though she’s the most “scene” character, she still follows a few trends- ex: the lifeguard hoodie. her hair is definitely damaged by the box bleach she uses and the excessive use of her straightener. i also think she 100% has raccoon eyes (in the avril lavigne-way.)
she parties with her sketchy boyfriends, day drinks, and does almost any drug she can get her hands on. she’s suicidal and highkey crazy, which results in her tattoos and scars. (the excessive SH-culture is completely on brand for the 2000s.)
ari: borderline manic pixie dream girl going through a sexuality crisis. she’s almost emo, but not quite. she wears winged eyeliner and red lipgloss. her wardrobe consists of mostly graphic tee shirts and skinny + bootcut jeans. she dyes her hair because “no one understands her,” but she still has a decent relationship with her parents.
she used to be a girl scout, so she definitely cuts her own hair and thinks it’s rebellious. i think her favorite shoe would be black high top converse.
kelly: is the definition of a trendy, trashy, 2000s girl. kelly is also rich (as stated by jecka.) she’s popular with the boys because she’s pretty, has big boobs, and dtf. she wears a lot of hollister, wet seal, juicy couture, and victoria secret. i think she would wear a full face of makeup to school. her hair is dyed blonde but she keeps the roots grown out just a little.
megan: 2000s THEATRE KID!! she’s ARTSY, not EMO. she’s apparently pretty, but not pretty enough to be constantly hit on. she wears a lot of media/pop culture clothing and jeans. (if she were in the 2010s, she would wear those hot topic disney dresses.) her hair color is her natural hair color and her nail polish is always chipped.
jecka & hunter say she’s a christian girlie, so most of her outfits are more modest and toned down compared to some of the other girls. she probably wears minimal makeup unless she’s doing a show.
karen: she’s dorky and nerdy to the extreme. she looks very mousy and homely. she likes twilight and harry potter + she works at a library (and is strict about the rules.) karen likes and is good at school. she probably only wears mascara and medicated chapstick + her glasses. she has a messy bob that she never styles.
she’s also insecure about her body, as jecka and nicole make her relapse on her ED, so she wears baggier clothing than any of the other characters.
i think she would wear sketchers and jeggings.
anywho, i like this game and im also super into the genuine 2000s fashion, so a part of me dies whenever i see someone say “nicole listens to ayesha erotica!!” or “jecka wears affliction and bb belts!” girl bffr.

Nicknames in Japanese
Nicknames in Japanese are fascinating to me because they are so variable and fun to play with, much like Japanese itself.
あだ名 adana nickname
ニックネーム nikkuneemu nickname
In terms of pet names there are not many general ones. Perhaps あなた (anata) - used by a wife to her husband - is the most well known pet name, but outside of that I haven't found many mentions of them. I have heard of the English-origin ダーリン (daarin = darling) and ハニ (hanii = honey), but I have never heard of anyone actually using these in real life.
Nicknames, however, are more common as a play on someone's name. They can be used to call a senior classmate without sounding too formal (and having to append さん [-san] to the end of a name) or to express affection towards friends or significant others. They are usually used for someone you are close with, so I would not recommend using them with someone you just met (unless they ask you to call them by a nickname), and especially not with older people or those of higher rank or in business situations.
Nicknames often come in the form of a name ending that is attached to all or part of a first or last name. I am not an expert by any means, and this is not comprehensive at all, but I wanted to compile a list of some common nicknames and give you a sense of how they would be used on a variety of names.
1. Cut the name in half and use くん (-kun) or ちゃん (-chan) at the end
This is very common, because many Japanese names have at least 3 or 4 syllables. It depends on the name whether the first 1 or 2 (or the last 1 or 2) syllables are used, and sometimes you need to throw in a small つ (tsu - which doubles up the consonants) to make it flow well. You can use it for a first name or a last name.
2. Add っち (cchi) to the end of the name
This one is kind of cute sounding. You can append it to the end of the full name or to the end of the first couple syllables.
Example: まこと (Makoto) → まこっち (Makocchi) ♂ ゆみこ (Yumiko) → ゆっち (Yucchi) ♀ ゆい (Yui) → ゆいっち (Yuicchi) ♀
3. Adding an ん (n) to the end of the name
This works better with some endings than others. り (ri)・の (no)・る (ru) are examples of endings where ん is commonly appended. You can also add りん to the end of a name, although this works better with names that already end in り or another い/う-ending name.
Example: いおり (Iori) → いおりん (Iorin) ♂ ゆきの (Yukino) → ゆきのん (Yukinon) ♀ ゆり (Yuri) → ゆりりん (Yuririn) ♀
4. Adding たん to the end of the name
This is a baby-talk way of saying ちゃん. This was originally considered as an otaku nickname, as it appeared in net slang at the end of an otaku's favorite (usually female) character, but it is used a little more widely now, especially for younger children because it is cutesy. You can cut the name in half again and/or modify it, or add it to the end of a full first or last name.
Example: もも (Momo) → ももたん (Momotan) ♀ かなと (Kanato) → かなたん (Kanatan) ♂
5. Adding ちん to the end of the name
Another baby-talk way of saying ちゃん. I often see this used for dogs or babies, but it can be used affectionately for friends as well. I mostly see it as a female nickname when it's not for pets or babies. Again, you can cut the name in half or modify it, or put it at the end of a full first or last name.
Example: ゆな (Yuna) → ゆなちん (Yunachin) ゆか (Yuka) → ゆかちん (Yukachin) なや (Naya) → なーちん (Naachin) ♂ たけうち (Takeuchi) → たけちん (Takechin) ♀/♂ (last name)
6. Other endings for nicknames
Using the tricks I've described above, you can create other nicknames with these endings:
-きゅん kyun
-ちゅん chun
-ゃ nya
-にゃん nyan
-ぬ nu
-はん han
-ぴ pi
-ぴょん pyon
-ぺこ peko
-ぽぽ popo
-まる maru
-みゅ myu
-やん yan
Even if your name is not of Japanese origin, you can use these rules to make yourself a Japanese-sounding nickname. You can use the first one or two syllables of your first or last name and add one of these endings to come up with a nickname. This is not only fun, it is also a great way to help Japanese people pronounce your foreign - and possibly difficult-to-pronounce - name.

Analysis Time! Flame Princess, her role then and now
I’m still working on the Lemongrab one (goddamn it’s a bit of work!), but this is just something I’d like to talk about for a second.
Recently there was a person who said this on confessingadventuretime:
I am aware that a lot of people outright hated the character when she was first introduced, and with good reason. Whether you thought Flame Princess was adorable or not when she first appeared in ‘Incendium’, there’s no denying that introducing a new character for the sole purpose of becoming the protagonist’s love interest is not good writing. Even so, it there’s a chance at saving the character.
A good writer must ensure that this character is entertaining enough, with a distinctive personality and onscreen presence, to hold their own episode. Luckily, they managed to do just that with Flame Princess.
Though it took them a while.
I’ve read a lot of reviews of 'Incendium’ written years ago, after the episode first came out. Without going into too much detail, I’ll just say that a vast majority of these reviews were dedicated to criticism, either of Finn’s behavior or this mysterious new love interest shoehorned into the show, completely missing the symbolism and parallels between PB and FP packed into eleven minutes. Little did anyone know that it’s kinda hard to have the plot that 'Incendium’ had and dedicate enough time to giving this new love interest any grounded personality.
That’s what 'Hot to the Touch’ was for.
'Hot to the Touch’ (which, coupled with 'Incendium’, is Rebecca Sugar’s all-around best episode in my opinion) did a fine job of doing all the things I listed a newly-introduced love interest must have.
It made Flame Princess entertaining to watch, and interesting seeing how naive she was about the world around her, giving us subtle hints that she was in that lantern for a really long time. And she also has a very distinctive (albeit slightly overused) explosive personality and onscreen presence that has this very fiery vibe to it; you, or at least I, can’t take my eyes off the screen whenever FP is on. Think of it like Lemongrab, and how every episode he’s in after 'Too Young’ has this very unsettling vibe to it ('Mystery Dungeon’ aside).

Even with all that, there’s still no denying that Flame Princess’s primary (and for a while only) role was to be Finn’s love interest, and this continues on through 'Burning Low’ and 'Ignition Point’.
But 'Burning Low’ wasn’t about Flame Princess. Rather, it was more focused on Finn’s relationship with Bubblegum, a brief hint at FP’s backstory, and to give us probably the most memorable and powerful line in the entire episode, if not the whole show: “Responsibility demands sacrifice."
'Ignition Point’ was just that, the ignition point to Flame Princess’s path to becoming good. So far this is my only real piece of criticism I have with FP’s character arc, how they just kinda drop the whole "born evil, but could be made good” thing after 'Vault of Bones’. We’re given an uneasy climax to the episode as the princess relishes in killing the skeletons, who passes it off as “destroying only evil stuff”, but after that…nothing. Maybe it will come back in the future, now that she’s king. Which brings me to my last point of this little post: her future.

The confession from the beginning worries that the writers will just forget about Flame Princess completely now that her arc appears to be “done” with Finn and she’s with Cinnamon Bun.
Well first off, and I’m quoting the writers here, it's platonic love. You know, the love you share with your best friends? Your siblings? That kind of love.
But that aside, there’s so much they can do with Flame Princess and still do with Finn. As for her role as a king, we’ve already had an episode where Flame Princess had to deal with an attempted coup set up by her father, and at the end Cinnamon Bun makes the Fire People realize that a ruler doesn’t need to be powerful to be a good leader, but have a strong heart and close friends. However, 'The Red Throne’ was greatly hindered by Finn. I feel this would have been a much stronger episode if it just focused on the coup and Flame Princess’s relationship with her people. I get the point was to show that Cinnamon Bun is everything that Finn is not, but to nail the whole thing about good leaders on in the literal last minute just makes it feel empty without there being any buildup.
Another criticism people have of Flame Princess’s character even today is that everything she is now is because of Finn, and that’s true. But that’s also kinda the point. If it weren’t for Finn, she would have never met Cinnamon Bun, or became the new Flame Queen. 'The Red Throne’ was supposed to show us that she doesn’t need Finn anymore.
Besides, it’s not like this isn’t an easy fix. Remember early Princess Bubblegum? Her only role in the series was to be Finn’s love interest, act as a plot device or a red herring. We were given a bit more in 'What Was Missing’ and throughout Season 4, but ever since 'The Suitor’ she’s completely been her own character.
However, there are more stories they can do with Flame Princess as she matures into a strong leader. Just to list a few:
-Doubts about her ability to change the Fire People
-Repercussions of total honesty
-Return of Me-Mow, mayhaps?
-Building relationships with other kingdoms
-Showing Ooo that it doesn’t need to be afraid of the Fire Kingdom
And as I’ve said, there’s still more they can do with her and Finn’s relationship. Personally, I’d love to see the two of them bury the hatchet of their old relationship and become good friends. And apparently we’re getting an episode for just that.
'Jake the Brick’ is an upcoming episode that will finally deal with the whole “Baby Lich” situation, and Flame Princess will somehow get involved.

Very interested in seeing where that’s going.
And even with all that guys, if you still think Flame Princess is a weak character and her shoehorning into the show was unforgivable, at least look at it this way:
'Adventure Time’ did it miles better than any attempt MLP has ever made with a shoehorned love interest (though that’s hardly saying much).
But that’s all I got. I hope you guys know where I’m going with this. Lemongrab analysis is coming up hopefully by the end of the week.
Peace!

"I'm at the garden. If you're that desperate to see me. You can see me right now, Makoto-kun. I'll see you later by then" Sayo said as she ended the call as she returned to sipping her tea
Sayo sighed. Makoto probably going to try forced her again instead of trying different method
Why would you force me to marry you against my will Makoto-kun?
“Because you are my best friend, and the one I love, big sis! That’s why! I only need you, why would you need anyone else?!” The young rich teenage boy replied, feeling anguished.

Maybe I'm just being cranky but I get really annoyed when people confuse hanfu for kimono. It's an annoying trend that everything remotely Asian = Japan.
ngl I get annoyed sometimes too, “kimono” is used to describe any east-asian-looking robe thing even though it’s a pretty specific type of garment. Like I kinda hrmmm-ed at this scene in ATLA...
But people don’t usually mistake hanfu for kimono out of malice or racism, but just due to lack of exposure. So I’m gonna use your ask as an opportunity to give some quick n easy tips for how to tell kimono and hanfu apart. and hanbok while we’re at it (which is Korean for those who don’t know).
You can usually tell the difference from silhouette alone. To put it simply, kimono - rectangle, hanfu - triangle, hanbok - like a half oval-ish.
The obi, that wide, stiff sash, is also a distinct characteristic of kimono. I sometimes see people mistake hanfu for hanbok because some styles of hanfu also have high waistlines, so look at the skirt instead. Hanbok skirts can be triangular/A-lined too, but there’s still a sorta poofiness to it. There are different variations of these garments, but those are the basics.

How old is Frisk ?
One topic often debated about Frisk is the question of how old they are. With the fandom throwing around numbers anywhere between 5 and 16 without any real evidence, this post will attempt to give the most accurate answer possible based on game data and real world science.
There are three factors that can help determining Frisk’s age.
The first one is their physical appearance. The second one is their mentality, this ranges from Frisk’s personality to the things that they know or don’t or to their decision making process. The third one is how other characters treat Frisk and what they expect of them.
We know how average kids of any given age are like both mentally and physically, by comparing what we know of Frisk to this data, we can make an estimation of their age.

KAI, GERDA and OLINA, the good souls of Arendelle Castle
I have not seen or perhaps overlooked any posts about this reliable adjutant and servant. I think it is time to shed some light on him and also on Gerda and Olina, because all of them really deserve a little more attention. But that might also be due to the fact that they do their service so reliably and inconspicuously and at the same time so considerately towards the Majesties and Highnesses, and although they play an important role in all movies and shorts they are only supporting roles. So it’s high time to compile a few facts as far as they are available to me. I would be pleased if you would participate here with your own additions, because I cannot know everything. I know this post isn’t as important than any about the main characters, but if you have some time to read, well…
This is a very long post incl. many pictures.

Tbh the problem with Mazm Poto isnt really about the worldbuilding, but like i said before. The character flanderization which most POTO adaptation suffers with
Things that are accurate with the novel :
- The characters that arent in most adaptations especially the musical are there (Sorelli, jammes, phillip, the persian, etc)
- Just like in the novel, Erik has a life before residing underground the opera (with of course some differences)
- The fact that Raoul hides in the closet lol
- The scorpion and grasshopper scene
- Early part of the story where we delve in Raoul's POV
- Madame giry looking after the patrons instead of being the ballerina teacher
- Everyone got their ages correct (with few like meg and jammes got aged up a bit)
- The daroga being the one who told Erik's entire backstory
- The part where christine being held longer after unmasking Erik
- Meg giry becoming a baroness
- The torture room is there and the mechanics
The changes i like :
- Carlotta being good friends with christine
- The ballerinas especially meg being close with christine (in the novel they only jnteract as coworkers)
- The managers ended up being a comic relief (they already sort of in the original novel tho)
- They did a good job of setting the eerie/mysterious aura in the first half of the story
- Raoul getting more screentime and more depth! I dislike the original raoul (mazm raoul still jealous and whiny but he slowly grows into a better person)
- The soundtracks🔥🔥
Theres probably more of this but i already forgot details in the game

Why MazM Raoul SOLOS!!!
Raoul haters dni/j. You guys know how I feel abt him from when I was replaying MazM POTO but I'm putting it into an actual post + tagging. This is gonna be long so buckle up.
The plot/characters of MazM POTO is kinda weak, and it's a little debatable on if Raoul's character is purely reliant on the decline of Christine and Erik's characters. But I'll just talk about him individually.
My first point here will be analyzing him alone, who he is without Christine.
Raoul on his own:
Raoul is very very childish on his own. The art makes him look quite baby and from the get-go you can tell how naive he is. When he first comes into the opera house with Philippe, he makes so many jokes. For example when Jammes asks who he is, he jokes that he is Philippe's son, which pisses him off and causes him to scold Raoul. Then when Philippe tells him to stay in their box seat, he decides to go in the one besides theirs, Box 5, to play a little prank on him. 10 PM PRANK GONE WRONG GONE VIOLENT!!! Carlotta constantly reminds him of his drill sergeant and makes him whimper. Lawd she is real for that. You almost forget he was part of the navy with how much he pouts.
In Christine's dressing room, when he is snooping around, he's like oh Philippe's gonna ground me for months if he finds out. Dude youre 20. And when Christine tells him she can't go out a certain hour he's like oh you have curfew? I understand. Like I know curfew might've been a *thing* back then like there's context to it probably. But between that and the grounding it does feel like Raouls life had been placed under restrictions for his protection.
When Richard pisses him off, he splatters ink all over his music scores and goes "oopsies silly me" and Richard starts going OFF at him abt how that's his important music scores and Raoul goes "That's music??? I've done a favor to the world by rubbing it off." LIKE???? He's a fucking brattttt. He's absolutely childish sometimes and I love it. But he definitely has a good heart. He calls out Philippe for playing with Sorelli's heart later on and how scummy it is. He goes to the managers when Christine gets ill and asks them if they treat their employees well, and while later on it teeters into the Christine obsession, he still wanted benefits for all the singers in a sense. AND he tells them off for conspiring with the police to cover up Buquets death to the point he becomes enough of a problem that they get Remy to kick him out. In the torture chamber when the Daroga is relaying Erik's backstory to him, he's like wow that's horrible :(((. He is a sweet guy. And I'll admit MazM fucked up when they blamed Hatim for Erik's actions, and Raoul shouldn't have been a mouthpiece for that sentiment, I am purely taking what can be said about Raoul here. Raoul gets pissed when he sees injustice, not just in the name of Christine. When the Daroga goes off at him for being privileged (French and White) and scoffing at Middle Eastern governments, Raoul holds his tongue and apologizes. Like he knows his place.
He's smart too, he's reasonable enough to know La Epoque is just a gossip magazine and absolute BULLSHIT. He knows the management is just dogshit and calls their asses out for it. He graduated with honors!!! He gets along quite well with the other characters that aren't Christine and his interactions with them fill him out quite a bit.
But that isn't all that MazM added to him.
Translation Through Time
Now, a part of why people can't sympathize with Raoul in the original book is because he is seen as a privileged brat, and he certainly acts so. His appeal as a character is lost through time as what was seen as extraordinary back then (giving up everything for your lowerclass lover) is to be expected nowadays. MazM translates that struggle into something more relatable to modern day audiences which would be a sense of golden child syndrome. Raoul is held to a standard by his family. In the original book he doesn't throw up much of a fight besides when it got between him and Christine. But here, when he lashes out at Philippe, he straight up says he never wanted anything Phillippe forced onto him. He didn't consent to the army and yet was enlisted because it'd be good for his family. He's considered the black sheep of the family and people gossip about him and he knows it. Raoul was fully ready to die in the Artic, he had nothing to his name and wanted to please his family, until Christine came back in his life. He wanted to make his own choices for once and being with Christine was his choice. Which leads to another thing about him:
His Lack of Agency and Childishness
To touch back on the point about Raoul's childishness: he doesn't know better. He has led a sheltered life, doted and pampered on by Philippe yes, but still sheltered. He had been taught to stay in line and hadn't experienced the real world. As a result he is quite pent up and doesn't exactly know what to do with himself when he's upset. Combine that with his lack of agency where hes constantly forced to live a certain way, well, you have a pipe bomb. He is childish in the sense of, quite literally he thinks like one at times. Children aren't evil or malicious or anything, just naive. They can be selfish. Raoul had been selfish to Christine many times, and it is not out of a sense of wanting to hurt her, moreso he doesn't realize what he's doing. This is not to remove his agency, not at all. He is an adult. This is about his subconscious actions and what he doesn't realize about himself.
Raoul With Christine
Christine brings out the very best in Raoul, and his worst, not her fault however it's just collateral. Raoul never curses Christine out like he did in the original book. He loves her whole-heartedly. Although there is the scene where he taunts her for crushing his flowers. Again I feel that ties more into his childish selfish side, bc. It felt very childish of him to poke at her like that.
I don't know if I'm tweaking, but considering how MazM was pushing a narrative of making choices in this game, like Christine learning to make choices for herself or Erik choosing not to let go, I feel as if this isn't coincidental. Raoul's choice to run away with Christine is a very important one. Raoul had loved Christine since he was a child. As an adult he loved her even more, she was a breath of fresh air to him as she never expected anything of him, she was a choice. When Raoul is helpless to help her during Erik's terrorization, he was miserable! He was lashing out at everyone because he didn't know who to trust or what to do. He could give the world and still it couldn't fix the situation. And thus his pushiness and toxicity came from a place of overcompensation. He wanted to be so sure of himself that he could protect Christine. He wanted her to be fully his.
His lowest point is when he barks at Christine to hand over Erik's ring even after she expressed her discomfort and anxiety. Raoul rlly went I have a pistol and a dream. And yeah this is his worst, but that doesn't mean he was beyond redemption.
Redemption
Raoul begs and cries in the torture room for Christine. He really does seem apologetic and regretful. He asks Christine if she wanted to hear about Erik's backstory. Raoul hated Erik! And the fact he is treating him with such compassion that Christine doesn't show??? </3
Christine's compassion had been butchered near the end. While they are burying Erik's body, there is a choice to be made asking if you wanted to put the ring on Erik or not. If Christine asks to throw it away, Raoul says to wait a minute. He explains that he doesn't say what he's about to say out of sympathy but rather what he would want if he were in Erik's position. He treats Erik like a human when he says "If my body were to show up one day unknown, I would at least want something to be able to identify me." He treats Erik like a fellow man which is just... so sweet. He acts as a foil to MazM Erik. While Erik refused to change for the better and stayed a bitter hateful man, Raoul changed to make sure Christine would be happy and safe. That is hella growth. He tells Christine about while he was in the torture room, the enraged man he saw in the mirror wasn't him but a monster. He is terrified that he ever put Christine through that version of himself. At the ending, while he pushes Christine to marriage again, Christine calls him out, and he catches himself and goes "I'm so sorry." He doesn't fix himself immediately bc that is not how growth works, but he is definitely on the path to growth. Christine tells him she wants him to change for himself, not for her. The ending where he is with Christine is a happy ending however. What I don't see often is people talking about the other ending.
Raoul Alone
In the ending where Raoul and Christine part their seperate ways, people talk about Christine's side a lot. However, Raoul's side of the story is fascinating and marks his own growth. He's free from the Chagny family, no money no connections. He didn't even attend Philippes funeral. He had been disowned but he didn't even feel as if he deserved to go. He's traumatized from Philippe's death but he's keeping it in. Philippe was like a father to him, as cruel as he got sometimes. They still loved each other very much. He gave it all up for Christine, so the ending where they part ways???? It's so bittersweet. He is left alone and traumatized, but his new life was solely his. He will find happiness again, as hard as it will be. Even if he was a pampered spoiled child, he isn't that anymore. He had grown and matured while still keeping his kind heart. He will move on as Christine had moved on.
Can you guys tell I love him.

PSA for the MazM fandom(?)
A. Please don't repost artwork without credit or just, don't repost at all please. This fandom is small so the original artist may be able to find it and be upset. Also because our community is spread very thin between countries, there is the chance they might not even know their artwork is being reposted without credit qwq
B. Not to fearmonger or anything, but I think nows the time to be annoying to your friends to tell them to play MazM games. MazM has been going through a series of reforms as of late. Both the artists have left. Shield's (the person who would look for Thy Creature bugs on twitter) account has disappeared.
I've heard MazM was running low on money. To all those who complain about the ads on their games: please understand it is necessary to keep them afloat. We are extremely fortunate to have played their games for free, even if it was at the cost of ad time.
MazM said in a tweet about the new year that they would be focusing on more original values. They have an adaptation of Lessa (the webtoon) coming out though. A spinoff for something (possibly similar to Hyde and Seek) is being considered. But I'm starting to think they may drop the classic literature adaptations. Consider how over the years, games with a more original story like Pechka and Hyde and Seek have recieved less criticism than games like Thy Creature and Phantom of the Opera. Thy Creature is still an original storyline mostly, but the aspects of it that carried from the book such as Justine and William's storylines have been criticized. POTO speaks for itself here, we all know what happened. This isn't to say the critiques are ill-founded, but it does lead me to wonder if those on the PR team actually read what we say. They may consider the reimaginings as liabilities.
Well guys, uhm, I think its time to get all your friends to play Thy Creature.

Yandere Short Stories:
Limerence (Prequel)
Yandere Rebellion Leader x Princess Reader
TW: Yandere behaviors, mentions of past SA (on yandere’s part), murder, death, blood, a man slaughtering your entire family to be with you, etc

(Your name) quietly sobbed into her knees, her body curled tightly into a ball on the floor of her closet. The loud screams of the servants ring out through the hallways. Not a single doubt in her mind that the castle staff were being slain like cattle by the rebel troops.
When did everything go wrong? Would she soon join the rest of the castle’s inhabitants when the troops inevitably found her? Would they be merciful or would they gut her like a fish?
(Your name) didn’t want to think about it too much… she just hoped her death would be quick and painless.
Crack! Slam! Her door was splintered apart with brute force that made the closet doors shake. (Your name) quickly covered her mouth before she screamed out in fear. She didn’t want to alert the intruder of her whereabouts…
(Your name)’s breath hitched when she spotted a pair of leather shoes that stood outside the closet door through the crack of the door. Oh god… this was it.
(Your name)’s arms flew up to shield her face but strong hands quickly moved her arms out of the way so soft lips could be lovingly pressed against her soft cheeks.
“It’s okay… it’s me.” A smooth voice hummed softly while he continued to pepper (your name)’s face in kisses. “It’s Adonis.”
(Your name) reluctantly peeked her eyes open to see if his words rang true. Adonis’s chocolate curls were wild and his sea foam green eyes were filled with admiration. This was indeed her handsome childhood friend who stood before her.
“A-Adonis?” (Your name)’s brow furrowed in confusion. Why on earth was her stepmother’s personal servant here and why did he press kisses all over her like she was his lover? Didn’t he belong to her stepmother?
Adonis hummed in reply, his actions failed to cease while his hands now cupped her cheeks. “Yes, darling. It’s me… I’m here to get you out of here.”
(Your name) was shocked to be pulled into a warm embrace. Adonis’s muscular body did little to soothe her nerves, quite contrary. Adonis’s hug felt like a cage.
“Where’s my stepmother-“ (your name) nearly squealed when Adonis nipped at her neck. An angry red mark now visible on her smooth skin. “Adonis, what was that for-“
“She’s not in the picture anymore.” Adonis inhaled deeply to try to calm himself before he lashed out any further from the mention of his despicable mistress. “She interfered in our relationship for far too long.”
Relationship? What was Adonis talking about?
“Adonis?” (Your name) then noticed the speckles of blood that covered his tan face in shock. Blood?! Adonis wasn’t bleeding so whose blood could that be… no. Did this mean Adonis betrayed the royal family?
No… Adonis had been with her family for over a decade. They grew up together! Adonis and her were always such good friends! So why would he slaughter her family in the name of love?
“I love when you say my name, darling.” Adonis bent down and pressed his full lips against yours in a tender peck. “We no longer have to worry about what others think. I abolished this unfair system.”
(Your name) felt tears run down her face as Adonis continued to ramble. His sea foam green eyes lit up with madness. “We don’t have to sneak around anymore! You and I can finally be together, the way we were always meant to be.”
Realization sunk into (your name) at Adonis’s words. Did he mean the moments the two of them would run into each other in the rose garden at night? The nights where she’d have nightmares of fire and death while he would be slipping out of her stepmother’s chambers? The times she’d sit beside him on the bench and listen to each other’s woes? Adonis and (your name) always had a friendship since they were children… to think he interpreted her kindness for love was astounding. What on earth made him think she loved him?
“I’m so happy to finally be free. I no longer have to touch that vile woman ever again.” Adonis gave you a bright smile. “You were my singing light through this entire ordeal of my servitude. Without you, I’d be so lost.”
Adonis pulled her towards the window of her tower to gesture to the various fires set ablaze on the castle she once called home. The same scenery she often saw in her nightmares have become a reality.
“I destroyed it all. You’ll no longer have nightmares and I’ll no longer have to be intimate with our enemy!” Adonis gave you a bright smile when he took your smaller hands in his large ones. “This is the biggest gesture I can give you to express my utmost feelings to you. I’d set the whole world ablaze if they opposed us. It doesn’t matter the extreme, because I’m willing to go to any length to be with you.”
