Dancing all night wore Iris out. She had to work extra hard to keep up with Ruri, who seemed to dance like it was what she was meant to do. Iris knew she wanted to get better, and commit the dance routine to her natural programming.

There was so much fun and joy in the dance, and she knew she could get better at it, but the work was still tough on her new form. She had seen other pop idols who were able to dance complex routine while also singing loud and clear. After a long night of practice, it was time to rest.

Tonight, however, was different…

Dreams and visions of her watching a hologram filled her mind. Her dance timing was impeccable and music flowed as light from her fingertips. Her voice was soothing and full of life that Iris could only hope to attain while dancing. Iris watched in awe for what seemed to be hours. “The crystal clear light that fills the air…” Iris snapped from her reverie and looked upon the figure before her, seeing her merely inches away and reaching for her. “It always resembles you..”

Her voice faded as Iris’ vision faded white as she woke, feeling a tugging on her body. She looked over to see Ruri cuddled tightly with a mass of green hair in her face. Iris simply smiled, kissing her wife on the forehead as she melodically whispered to her.
