Thank you Chesterfield! We now have 50 members of the Hope Club, 9 member of the Grand Club and 3 members of the All-Star Club. This means that so far 62 people raised $100+. We are getting ever closer to our goal of $58,000. Thank you for all your efforts and let’s keep this thing rolling!

We have updated our fundraising levels! Thanks to our 34 members of the Hope Club, 8 members of the Grand Club and a member of the All-Star club we have been able to raise over $28,000!  Thank you to everyone who has been able help raise money to help us beat cancer and congratulations to all who have been able to reach one of the fundraising levels!

Joyce James is a member of our Event Leadership Team and co-captain of team Fight to the Finish. Her dedication to Relay for Life is shown at each meeting, fundraiser and Relay for Life event as she is pushing her team and committee to reach higher and continue to paint the world purple! She just crossed the $1,000 fundraising mark for the year and is now a member of the Grand Club and Jade Club.

#SaturdayStars - Colin Engel

Our Saturday Star this week is Colin Engel. In addition to serving as the Online & Marketing Lead for our event, Colin also has taken on the role of Team Captain for our newest team, Adam Smith State Farm Good Neighbors. After recently participating in a Lakeshore Division conference call about the National Corporate Team Program (NCTP), Colin saw an opportunity to get his agency, who was already a 2016 event sponsor, more involved in the fight against cancer.

The National Corporate Team Program recognizes corporate relationships with the Relay For Life movement committing to 50 teams or 500 participants from each company. These companies are committed to community involvement and helping finish the fight against cancer. The program offers team building, volunteerism, and promotion nationwide!  Since 2009, Sate Farm Insurance has been a NCTP partner, with locally owned agencies participating in events in their area.

We are very excited to have Adam Smith State Farm joining us on the track in Chesterfield on June 4. Thank you Colin for living the Relay For Life values in our community and when you’re at work!
