this is terri (based off of a tarantula hawk) and her only daughter fifla (based off of a firefly) who is a councilor which is essentially a species of bug women my friend made (same friend created and drew the big kayara, this was done on an aggie hence the extraneous bits. i'm sure you can discern my contributions from art style haha)

unlike most members of her species, terri has sons as well, all adopted from the streets (councilors are all female and typically consume the usually-human father after they no longer need him as well as abandon any male, human children they have).

she's extremely protective of her children and mildly paranoid, sometimes veering into helicopter mom territory (though it's somewhat warranted considering how murderous other councilors can be)

sometimes i see posts thirsting over hiccup horrendous haddock the third the hope and heir to the tribe of the hairy hooligans while scrolling here and i get extremely concerned until i remember that hiccup haddock from the movies exists

(for those who don't know, book hiccup is a maximum of 14 during the events of the books)

(also wouldn't it be cool if we popularized calling movie hiccup hiccup haddock and book hiccup the smallish viking the full longish name because the movie universe never actually uses the longish name for hiccup canonnically ever and only goes as far as hiccup haddock in rtte...?? like i know already if you see someone append "the hope and heir to the tribe of the hairy hooligans" as we'll you can be sure they're speaking of the books but like... wouldnt it be cool to just,,, make it clearer,,, for all us httyd fans.......)

I wrote a small fic once like two years ago abt him going to the fort after receiving her letter that she didn't love him bc he wouldn't accept it. He got caught and she secretly released him (just this once for his foolishness) but very coldly affirmed to him that she didn't love him

A thing I’ve been wanting to do ever since my spm love has returned full force was to draw out the memories… I would def play with the pacing and stuff more if I ever did this again but!! Definitely a fun exercise and a great way to get stuff out of my system, hahaha

i have never been so delighted to see three fandoms in in join together

I realized today that if you put Dipper Pines, Janner Wigiby* and Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III in a room together with Ford’s journals, Pembrick’s Creaturepedia and a book about dragons they’d probably never leave.

Meanwhile, Mabel, Kalmar and Camicazi are outside committing war crimes and Leeli’s trying to teach Fishlegs to play a whistleharp.
