i just watched this video on youtube and it really resonated with me. so i’m trying my luck here to find a potential penpal :3

i’m 19f and from Germany. this year i started my first semester at university and im studying linguistics and english studies. i love learning languages and learning about languages. i listen to a lot of music, especially music that is not in english (at the moment i listen to a lot of finnish music and i like artists like Sydän, Sydän, PMMP, Käärijä and BESS). i read a lot, mostly literary fiction but really, i enjoy every genre. i draw and crochet from time to time. i love tea, especially green tea.

what really resonated with me in the video linked above is that sometimes, i feel like communication over the internet can become very overwhelming, as i am someone who doesn’t always want to respond immediately. i like the idea of this slow communication that happens over letters. it feels much more meaningful that way, i think.
