I’m happy to be back in Ottawa and back in Hintonburg at the studio: House of Common / Maison de la commune. Alexandre Brault and I will be taking the summer to give the place a facelift. No major changes, just a few steps to make it look young again. We look forward to making the House of Common studio a fun place to shoot for us and for the Ottawa photography community.

The summer vacation to Prince Edward Island was pretty exciting this year. I brought my beautiful fiancée to the East Coast for the first time. Lots of time spent on the quiet beaches of PEI. My parents have a beautiful location near the water that makes for breathtaking evening strolls. 

Also spent a night at the local Legion to see my grandfather play cribbage with his buddies. I still have to up my game before I can be his partner on card night.

I’ll be showing for photos from recent and not so recent motorcycle rides I went on as part of Loserpalooza in Vancouver. Fun place, to look at bikes, look at photos of bikes and drink beer while chatting about bikes.

Excited that my photo of Beaumont-Hamel is featured in Daimon’s 30th Anniversary show. They’re a great artist-run centre in Gatineau that has helped me with many of my photo projects.

I took an unannounced winter hiatus to re-work my portfolio and build new images. I decided to drive the West Coast leaving from Prince George to head south to Los Angeles. The trip took about 30 days spending most of the time driving the Coast on California 1 and US101. I decided to post some images on the blog while I keep busy scanning and editing.

A couple of summers ago, Jamie Stunt approached me with a food related photo project. We ventured out in the parc and set-up a fake dinner for some friends. I’m always excited when a musician calls me for work. Last month Jim Bryson, one of my favourite local artist, contacted me to do some promo photos. His upcoming album will be out early in 2016. OAC annual fundraiser LUCK! is happening tomorrow night (December 3rd). It’s one of my favourite events to attend and I try to participate every year. Included in this year’s selection is a photo of an Island Beach taken in 2011.
