fiction & reality is not a 1 v 1 consumption.   what you write / consume / etc, should not and does not have an effect on your moral standing if you are a person of sound mind who has the ability to disassociate fiction from reality.   writing / reading something is not equivalent to condoning it, and you shouldn’t try and demand people’s trauma ( if they have it ) in order to vet them on what they’re writing.   you don’t have the right, you are not the morality police.   there have always been triggering and dark topics written throughout history, sometimes romanticised, sometimes not.   we should learn and not follow in the dumb actions of the past by “ banning ” this topics from view like what was done with various controversial media such as monty python, to kill a mockingbird, etc.   it solves nothing, it achieves nothing.

people on this site are not responsible for your well being.   that falls on you, to cultivate your own space, to ensure that you are blocking things that may trigger you.   people have the right to write whatever they damn well please, just as you have the right not to see it.   this isn’t a site for minors, it’s an incredibly unhealthy place to spend such formative years ( that’s another topic ) but also, it’s unsafe.   it’s an adult centred site, just as fandom is an adult space.   it always has been, and always will be ; there are minor friendly spaces in it but it’s not on the adults to make sure all of fandom is so and don’t expect them to.

take care of yourselves, because it’s your responsibility, and you can’t throw a titty lip when other people won’t bend the knee and do it for you ; whether you be minor or adult.

stop demonising bisexuals. stop saying oh i like girls and unfortunately boys, can you imagine the backlash if that was said the other way? demonising bisexuals attraction to one gender only leaves us feeling wrong in our own sexuality, like we have to apologise for it and we damn well don’t. we can be woman preferring, man preferring, 50 / 50.   it can change on the day, month, whatever. we don’t exclude trans / nb people, pansexuality is not a more ~ * ~ woke ~ * ~ version of bisexuality.

gif / aesthetic tutorial.

for the anon that requested it, and my other followers !   i hope this helps you guys out.

what you’ll need:

photoshop ( any iteration is fine, i have cs4. )

kmplayer.   free download here.

psd.  ( some downloads of mine here : one, two, three. )

okay first, open kmplayer.   press ctrl + g to open a popup that will allow you to control how many frames you record, the size of them, and where the frames are saved to.

feel free to use those specifications, i use them for most of my gifs ( really only changing the frames to extract when needed, ) and it works well.   now, pick a video to gif.   once you do, go to the portion of the video you want to gif and press play, and start in the frame extraction window.   then it will begin to extract frames from the video into the folder specified until you press stop.

important : tumblr has issues with large gifs.   gifs can be made large if they have a numerous amount of frames in them or heavy adjustments / colourings.   i usually keep my frame count in a gif to 30.

Fiction does not equal reality. What a person writes in a fanfiction or a roleplay doesn’t equal their support of that thing. Writing about a thing in a positive way, or otherwise, doesn’t mean the mun supports that something happening in the real world. And how someone writes their muse doesn’t always equal how canon wrote it.

and even if… you don’t get to decide what is and isn’t okay for someone else to write on their blog. For fuck’s sake, stop trying to police everything and get over yourselves. There are many options for avoiding content you do not wish to interact with. Interacting with it in order to shame anyone for it is not an acceptable one. If you are that obsessed, you’re the one that is the problem.
