logan purrs when he's asleep. he purrs like a content little cat when he's smushed into wade's side, his whole adamantium weight pressing into wade who doesn't really mind because ✨️who in their right mind says no to wolvie cuddles✨️ (wade uses him as a weighted blanket anyway, who needs air pffffft he doesn't)

but HOLY MARVEL JESUS he has a silent freak out the first time he discovers logan purring in his sleep during one of their movie binges. (they have weekly movie nights fight me)

a healthy (not) bout of cuteness aggression happens that night and even though wade is a little confused both by the fact that logan actually fell asleep on him and that HE IS PURRING OH MY GOD- he doesn't fight it and even naps with him (the best sleep both of them have ever had considering lots of nights are full with nightmares and insomnia)

and the thing is- wade very carefully talks to some of the surviving xmen in their universe about it and they just go 🤔🤨❓️ because not one of them has ever seen or heard logan do this (i'd imagine maybe kayla or mariko, scott even - logan told him about them, but hey wade can't really ask them can he) and then wade REALIZES and it hits him SO hard. logan is comfortable with him. he's at ease and relaxed enough in his presence to allow himself to slip into his slightly more animalistic traits without having to fear any judgement or rejection. he. is. comfortable. and wade maybe cries a little (a lot) at that realisation, holding logan even tighter when it happens again - the older man slumped against him during one of their movie nights, sleeping tight and soft purrs vibrating deep from his chest

[One in Endless Timelines]

(Imma dump all of my arts here so don't mind me and enjoy!)

Every time I see someone draw Logan laying on Wade or being held by Wade and they're like "ignore that his adamantine ass weighs like 300 lbs" I remember two things:

Firstly I remember that the "300(ish) lbs" is accounting for his comic height of 5'3", not his Hugh Jackman height of 6'1", which probably means we're not looking at a 300 lbs boyfriend. We're looking at like a 500 lbs weighted blanket boyfriend.

Secondly I remember that Wade, at least in the early comics, has super strength. I don't remember exactly how much he can lift, but with an ability with super strength he's gotta be able to lift at least 500 lbs. Plus, like, y'all, we all saw the Honda Odyssey fuck fight scene. Wade was tossing Logan around just as much as Logan was tossing around Wade.

So I don't wanna hear any more of this "but Logan is too heavy for Wade! 🥺" stuff. You give that Wade his heavy weighted blanket boyfriend. Put that Wolverine in his lap, he's got him. You show Logan getting uppies. Get that senior citizen in a bridal carry.

-hours later-

Logan: *wordlessly tosses Wade's weird obscure favorite candy at him and walks away*

Wade: !?!?!? peanut did you go across town for this????

i genuinely believe that whenever wade starts doing very mundane, very normal things for logan the poor thing loses his fucking mind

like wade dropping a sandwich in front of him on the kitchen table because he was hungry, so he stopped for food on the way home and figured logan might want something too but logan just. Stares. first at the sandwich then at wade. for like a long time.

and then he goes “i didn’t ask you to do that” and wade just. looks at him and goes “i…know…you didn’t have to?”

but logan’s fucking bluescreening still and refuses to even open it so wade just kinda. pushes it toward him with his fingers and walks into the living room so logan can Process, which he doesn’t, he just stares at it bc he can’t fathom Why wade would do that for him (nevermind that he cooks most of their meals, tidies bc wade is a hurricane, and also does the bulk of the grocery shopping but a $6 sandwich??? too far)

so eventually wade has to be like “oh my god you can get the next one, the bread is getting soggy, eat the sandwich you absolute fucking freak or i will”

and logan fucking Eats It but not bc wade told him to
