The whole “look fine” aphorism doesn’t validate a single thing

Aside from death, Endometriosis has taken away life in so many other diverse ways. The struggle of doing the most simple, most natural, most tranquil things that everyone else seems to have the ease to do is so straining. Life out of nowhere can become an emotional drastic roller-coaster. Doctors have determined fate of future children has a “difficult if not impossible task”. Undergoing procedures is emotionally, physically, and mentally draining. Recovery, pain, sometimes the news isn’t great, and time away from work etc… Not many people seem to understand. The whole “look fine” aphorism doesn’t validate a single thing. Endometriosis is a harsh thing…

This is why it is important to feel empathy towards the suffering.

This is why it is important to stay resilient.

This is why it is important for others to understand.
