The words rang in his ears almost incessantly.

Kanatakòn:ha‘s expression was hardened at the best of times, but when words were phrased in such fashion... some days he wanted to hit his head against the wall until he was rendered unconscious. Today, however, wasn’t one of the days he felt driven to such actions. Although the exasperation was evident in his eyes... in the slight twitch of his scarred lip. His brows furrowed, tugging at the glowing scars that decorated his forehead. 

He was wet because, as a joke, he’d been pushed into a fountain by Grunt. Or perhaps the adolescent simply meant to slap his back and forgot the commander wasn’t actually a Krogan. And though he now had more cybernetics in his body than his original parts, he was still somewhat human.

Even if he didn’t act that way. Not always. 

“I got into a fight with a fountain, what else would be the cause of it?” The sarcasm dripped almost as much as the fatigues that now clung to his body.
