I had a spooky time on Kodiak Island this week.

The Skeleton is of a seal that I found at the beach next to the ocean. Several Bald Eagles were surrounding a lookout when we pulled over. When we came down to the beach we figured out why.

Not pictured- the second seal corpse I found that was a gory mess. You’re welcome.

At the mountain- Just as we hit the peak with the wind turbines some sirens went off. The fog started clearing while we walked around on top of the mountain. It was very spooky and kind of like Silent Hill. I am a fan of fog, and walking at night through tall pines, and dark beaches with cold water and quiet caves, but I can admit this was a chilling experience.

It’s spring and bear season so I was extra careful while walking. Most of these were taken at 9:30 pm, the sun is more or less out at night now for good.
