Chief Icepick and his skrill, Skyrip.

Icepick is the chief of the Water Wing tribe and father of Runa. He's known for being level-headed and calm even during the most fierce of situations. Having spent all his life in the cold lands of his village, Icepick is no stranger to harsh environments, but takes great pride in the work he and his village do in order to keep calling home 'home'.

As the protector of the great bewilderbeasts Seashine and Ghostship, his job is to train his daughter to carry on the legacy and protect these great dragons, starting with the pair's offspring, Crosswaves. Icepick is also the man who discovered the aura fury species, studying and inviting members of a local flock to call his own village 'home'.

He had been journeying over the vast waters of the earth for so long that he almost thought the lands had long crashed into its waves, leaving only blue with his white form bleeding into the clouds to break up the color. Once the green of a distant island met his eyes, joyous relief flooded his system as he grasped the chance to finally rest his wings.

His arrival to the island was met swiftly by another. She was like him, but so different as well. The white of clouds made up the color of her scales, as with his. However, instead of pastel or saturated markings that often adorned the bodies of fellow light furies, her's was dyed with the black of coal and accompanied with features that didn't quite match with what his memories of the others were like. A hybrid. One born of light and night.

Her low growl told the stranger that she was ready to defend if needed, but her blue eyes sparked with the fire of curiosity as they met his own. His widened as a feeling began to flow through his veins, but what, exactly? Regardless of this new budding 'feeling', only one thing began to fill the thoughts of his mind: would this shimmering beauty accompany him on his journey to the hidden lands of the dragons?
