hi. i’m mod ariana. if you joined the group in the last two months, you might not know who i am. i was severely depressed and roleplaying wasn’t a priority due to me potentially becoming homeless. tmi. i won’t speak about what my co creator went through but i’m comfortable talking about my own business. know that things are fine now. while we were gone, some not so great things went down behind the scenes, and while we’re not going to discuss any details because it’s been dealt with in private, we are here to say requiem is closed. 

i think anybody who was in the group while i was around knows how much i loved it. while i wasn’t going through my mental shit, i took care of this place like it was a full time job that i loved. i loved every second of it so much. hours and hours of every day went into it and it was more than okay because it was sooo worth it to me. i don’t want anybody to think that my absence or its closing has anything to do with the people in it or the fact that i didn’t care. because the truth is that i cared so much, so much that i tried to let go of what happened behind the scenes. but it’s been awhile and it’s not gotten easier. i’m sorry that i couldn’t get over it or let it go because you guys don’t deserve to have a group close just because bad choices were made. i really am sorry to you guys and i’m sorry this explanation is annoyingly vague and rambly at the same time. you guys are welcome to roleplay here for as long as you want and if the mods who were running this would like to create their own group, i support them doing that. 

i want to emphasize that i am incredibly grateful to the mods who kept requiem alive when i no longer had the capacity to be around. it means so much to me that it is still open. i have no ill will towards them what so ever and i want nothing but the best for them and i’m so thankful they were willing to have a civil conversation with us about everything. some things just don’t work out and i hope everyone can understand that. 

if the mods who were running the group in our absence decide to make a group of their own, i imagine they’ll link it for you guys !
