My ocs, ARC by ARC

I’ve drawn this series two times before, but I figured it was time to revisit this series. My ocs go through various phases throughout the story of RESETTING, and what other way to visualize that than through their fashion ?

Listed in order: Sean (introduced in arc two), Avery, Katsumi, Audrey, Advik, Zack, Morgan (introduced in arc two)

I’d be happy to talk about it more in detail, since there are a few specific fashion choices in the midst of their general styles, but I’ll just share this for now since it took me so long !

I originally said she’d grow up to be a lawyer (“Grow up” as if she isn’t already grown in RESETTING) buuut I think she should be a history teacher at the prestigious academy ! Sure, she didn’t need to get her phd for that, but she wanted to be a university professor. HOWEVER, with the whole city against her, it was very difficult for her to get work at the academy in the first place. She’s hated by many of her colleagues, but the haters fuel her and she’s good at her job. Even if she can’t be good at her relationships…

one thing I don't really talk about regarding eve, is that the general consensus during the RESETTING timeline is that she is kind of irrelevant ? There are still plenty who value the history of Evelow and feel any offense towards her is heresy, but she's not very popular. RESETTING takes to a point in Evelow's history where the culture is shifting, people want something new, not some tired clone who takes her position for granted.

I drew this for World goth day, which was a few days ago, but it’s never too late ! Eve takes on the gothic image, fully embracing the ‘resurrected every other century” fate her original form was made for. It sounds kind of cool to see you’ve been dead before, even if that isn’t biologically true lol.

Who do you prefer ? Evelow’s shiny brand new mascot, or their thousand year old prophet who’s been cloned to irrelevancy ?

Either way, as much as Eve shows disdain for her spotlight, she expects it and wouldn’t want to give it to anyone else. So when this version of eve is born around the same time Evelow decides to play with another field of genetic engineering, enter Sean, eve feels like her iconography is threatened.

Is she wrong though ? Because unlike her,Sean loves the attention and is much more likable and popular. Perhaps this is a new era of Evelow… oh well, eve will put up a little bit of a fight

Oh Haramitsu and Aurora, best frenemies since the beginning. They may quarrel over the politics of Evelow and judge each other’s personal lives, but give them a common enemy or some petty gossip and they’ll unite.

Who of your ocs could be trusted with the aux cord? Who would be banned from using it? Who would abuse their privileges of the aux cord and play some wild card stuff to mess with people?

oh good question ! Just gonna answer this with my main ocs to keep it easy lol

Audrey and Morgan are most trusted with the aux cord. Audrey's good at picking something based on the vibes in the car and Morgan is always good for finding new music for the others to discover.

I wouldn't say Kat is *banned* per say, but often another character will jump at the chance to use the aux if she's in the car just so everyone's ears are spared from her avant-pop. Zack's music taste can also be a mood killer so he's hardly ever offered the aux. (he's also dared to suggest to listen to a podcast, which did *not* fit the vibe)

As for the other two, Avery refuses it because she doesn't want the others to "judge her music taste" (it's nothing to be ashamed of, Avery is just self conscious) and Advik will take nine years to decide what to listen to so often the car ride is lacking music.

me, who's in my mountain phase: should Evelow be set on a mountain ??

Or, like, within a mountain range ?? I mean idk probably not i also like the desert I've stuck them in, buuuuut it would make sense for the "haven from the wasteland" to be hidden in a valley of sorts.
