I’m probably gonna make a video about this soon, but I feel the need to address this. It’s been bothering me, and no this isn’t hate towards any individual. Make sure to reblog, not for clout, but to actually spread awareness about this. This also doesn’t only go for Crk, but many other fandoms.

Stop threatening people over ships in a damn cookie game. It’s getting out of hand. I get it, you don’t like Purelily, you don’t like shadowVanilla, you don’t like “quote and quote ship.” But don’t try to threaten other people. It isn’t funny, it isn’t cool, it never was and never will be.

So what can you do if you see something you don’t like? Simply scroll. Simply click, “don’t recommend post.” Very easy. Of course, I’ll be honest, I don’t like ShadowVanilla, you don’t have to either! But trying to hurt people or threatening them isn’t going to do anything. And again, if you don’t like something, just scroll! This goes for many fandoms honestly, not just Crk.

now what do you do if you see someone hating on a Crk video? If it’s your blog, or video. (Depends on what platform your using.) just delete or hide the comment. It stops the negativity. What if it isn’t your blog but you see a hate comment? Ignore it, it doesn’t fuel them to do much more if they aren’t aggravating others.

Now, why am I talking about this? Because I’ve been through stuff like this. It’s getting out of hand. Now for context, I’m a player from 2021 (I did leave the fandom for a few years, just started to play again in late 2023-2024) and seeing how the fandom now makes be kinda sad… of course I’m not gonna act like there wasn’t hate before. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows back then, but now it’s hard to find a sfw artwork, or finding a specific ship without It being just a hate comment about that ship.

I’m gonna talk about Purelily really quick (yes I’m a Purelily shipper, fight me about it.) For the people who hate on Purelily. Yes I’m gonna say it, just fuck off honestly. It’s okay not to like the ship, but genuinely hating on the whole community of people that ship fucking cookies? Like, how degenerate do you have to be? It’s seriously sad how bad this community has turned into. No, it isn’t just happening to Purelily, it’s just one of the few examples I can relate to. Also, shadowVanilla or any other shippers, when you are making ship art that isn’t about Purelily or hating on Purelily, DONT ADD THE TAG. For my sanity. I’m begging. I’m tired of looking for Purelily art just to see a whole other ship or just a hate comment on it.

also the changing peoples minds to ship something they don’t want to, don’t do it. Ofc I haven’t actually seen this happen before, but it has happened to me In real life couple of times, and it just pisses me off honestly.

what if you see art you like, but you don’t like the ship or something mentioned in it? I’ve actually experienced this many times so Dw, I’ll tell you some stuff I’ve actually done. My go to is “I personally don’t like ‘insert ship name’ but the art is really good!” It shows people that you don’t like something, but you’re still being respectful towards the person at the end of the day. Don’t hate on the person, just be respectful about it :3 usually when I do this, the creator doenst get mad, they usually get all happy which makes me feel really good about it honestly 😭😭❤️ And I usually end up sharing my Purelily brainrot, but that isn’t important tho 😅

now if you follow all these steps, you’ll actually help fix this community by a lot. I just hope people can understand that hating isn’t funny. Telling people to kys isn’t funny. If you be respectful, it makes people happy. (Please reblog so people can actually get the message.)

Misinformation Watch: Matpat

There's been a recent misconception about Matthew Patrick/Matpat that I desperately have to correct.

NO. Matpat is not a politician now.

He is not in Congress.

He did not win any elections.

Matpat (and Stephanie Patrick, for that matter, let's not forget her) are actually working WITH a couple of actual Congressional reps as part of a bipartisan group called the Congressional Creators Caucus, or the Creator Economy Caucus.

They are trying to educate lawmakers about online content creators and their needs, as a couple of long-running creators themselves, as this is an economic space that affects a significant amount of Americans on all sides. They are aiming to influence policy, but are not actually creating policies themselves. Considering the mess that the TikTok "ban" created, this could be such an amazing help.

But NO. Matpat is not in Congress and is not running for an election anytime soon.

Please reblog, pass this around, because I don't want to spend hours correcting every single "Matpat is in Congress now?" posts, especially since I can't tell which ones are just jokes and which ones genuinely believe it.
