Original post from @wewerealltoblame deemed Misinterpreted, but False
While the number 13 being unlucky may have some roots in Christianity, I cannot find any reputable sources talking about Friday the 13th and Freyja together.
The old Norse calendar got weeks after borrowing the idea from the Romans, and after renaming the days of the week to fit Norse gods, Friday was named after Frigg, a seperate Germanic (Norse) goddess of love. There is no direct connection between Freyja and Friday - much less Friday the 13th because of the aforementioned calendar system
Sidenote: holidays are usually marked by month - number instead of day - number because day - number events (like Friday the 13th) happen a 'pseudorandom' (for lack of better term) times per year. Example, 2015 had 3 Friday the 13ths
Sources: Wikipedia
did you know that Friday 13th was meant to be a really good lucky day meant for fucking because it was dedicated to Freyja, the goddess of love and fertility and the patron goddess of Fridays
but then Christianity found out about it and were like Fucking???? outside of marriage????? NO NO NO!!!” and decided it was a horrible terrible bad unlucky day and you need to be super careful of everything you do in case you die or some shit.
so thanks Christians for ruining everyone’s fucking fun

So I've seen almost every one do this, so I guess it's my turn.
For every 100 notes this gets, I write another chapter of my fan fic.
Don't comment, just reblog please. I like my notifications to a minimum
100 notes- chapter 4
200 notes- chapter 5
So on and so forth
(at 1000 notes I'll tell y'all the name of the fic)
Idk who to tag so

Body shape and obesity are affected heavily by genetics and upbringing. There is nothing wrong with being fat.
An article on genetic obesity
A non scientific article on body shapes and genetics
This fact is True
there's that post going around that's a short twit thread talking about "the obesity epidemic" as a result of economic oppression and everyone's snapping their little fingers for it but like. you guys know that we achieved socialist utopia tomorrow there would still be fat people right. you guys know that genetics play a bigger role in that than anything else and that some people will just be fat regardless of every other factor in their life right. you guys know that's fine right.
like idk I don't think it comes from a purposefully fatphobic place and like yes it sucks a lot that the demands of capitalism deny people a lot of opportunities to cook or learn to cook and be more engaged and intentional about their food. but it has this flavor of "poverty is bad because it makes people fat," which only holds up as an argument if you agree that being fat is a terrible thing that happens to people rather than being a completely neutral reality about some people's bodies.
anyone pulling any fatphobia on this post is getting blocked on sight I'm not playing.

While I cannot confirm nor deny that number, here are some relevant articles about short term ubi studies
This fact is Partially Exaggerated but True
there have been 774664 studies on basic income and the results of every single one have been “wow! we gave people money and literally everything improved! crime rates are down! the actual sky is bluer! my (the researcher’s) wife decided not to leave me after all!” but these have all been short studies, just a couple years. i think what’s really missing from the field is a proper long form study, with a broader, bolder demographic, to really get us those numbers we need. a truly diverse study pool like, say, everyone. forever
