It took me about 5 attempts to get a sketch of a hugging pose I was content with, but I rather like how this one turned out!

I can feel this reunion hug in my bones, I need this more than anything help

Love these! Crosshair’s face is adorable (especially in the flirting one) 😄

I like to think with Tech’s observations and Omega and Wrecker’s artistic skills the Batch made these and gave them to my still unnamed OC (Crosshair just tends to call her his “little tooka”) and Crosshair as a silly little gift.

@artisticmaniacwithapen is the only artist I know is behind any of these original images. BUT if you’re the OG behind the other two please let me know so I can tag you!

Inspired by my recent trip to New Mexico (40th birthday tomorrow, yay!), and doodled on the airplane home. A mission on a world of high desert and mesas goes poorly, and Tech has to rescue Crosshair.

Didn’t notice it the first time I watched the episode, but the next time I was like, hey…what?  Did Crosshair just put his hand on Echo’s shoulder then?  😲

I think about this a lot...

Crosshair, Mr. "We don't usually work with Regs", Mr. "I would have left him for dead too, he is just another Reg", Sees this mangled mess of a clone fight for a couple of minutes and decides to place his hand on his shoulder when the battle is over.

It almost feels like he is worried Echo will tumble over the edge and fall, even tho we don't see Echo loosing his balance once. But, it also feels like a congratulation, like he recognizes just how good of a soldier Echo actually is. You don't see it in the Gif, but he even gives him a little head nod of acknowledgment!

Do you think he realized why they took so much risk for just one "Reg"? He came to understand why Echo was so important and Rex made such a big fuss about it?

Do you think he came to accept that Echo was "not bad for a reg?"

Cause if he did, he would have been the first of The Bad Batch to do so. Since in the next episode we have both Hunter and Tech distrusting Echo and his ideas, worried he might have some ulterior motives.

I think... Mr. "I hate regs" is actually a big softie and accepted Echo as a brother way before the others did.

I was not that satisfied with my first attempt at them, but I still dig the Blacks *_* This picture was made 4 months after the first one and I was still struggling a bit with their hair. I also really liked the idea of Tech replacing the Republic emblem on his Blacks. What you can see is... I'm not very good at dramatic picture compositions xDDD It's just two guys, standing around, looking good...

I agree with everything @eclec-tech said. (including her comment about Tech’s, um…arm) (no…especially her comment about Tech’s, um…arm. The highlights are indeed lovely there…on his arm)

And the blacks will always be stunning. I like the replaced emblem on Tech's actual um, arm.

Ok so I've never ever drawn troopers before. I did a couple of cartoony phase 1 Tartakovsky type sketches once upon a time... but was too scared to draw faces. I got an itch tho & I tried drawing Echo. He came out not as terrible as I thought... even though I'm still like there's something off w the face & I can't draw realistic armor for shit... but here it is... I'm posting bc I kind of like the eyes & that's kind of the essence of Echo 🤷‍♀️
