[some basic headcanons for lu!]

her name is lup. just lup. sometimes taako calls her lulu and that’s acceptable - but only if you’re taako (or sometimes magnus). not even barry gets to call her lulu.

her past is none of your concern - all you gotta know is her and taako are closer than close and that their aunt taught them how to cook.

they’re also, like, really good at hustling people at pool. and stealing. hey! you do what you gotta to survive.

she studied as many sciences as she could in college - she’s always loved science (which is part of why she likes baking so much) and she wanted to know everything about the observable world around her.

she was so good at science that she tested out of a lot of her lower-level lab credits, and in her freshman fall semester, she ended up in an upper-level chemistry lab, where she ended up sitting with this guy named barry. he was a huge fucking nerd but really good at chemistry.

and also cute.

they only had two classes together over their overlap time at college but they ended up being super close and keeping in touch after barry graduated.

anyway they’re married now. it’s great. ask her about barry bluejeans.

she works as an assistant to the medical examiner - forensic science is her jam, and she hopes that someday she’ll be able to get her doctorate so she can be the medical examiner.

she’s also a violinist. she bought a super cheap one while in college because it looked cool and she spent time practicing when she needed a break from studying.

she also spent a year studying at the legato conservatory for music in italy, which was broken up by some adventures around europe. it was amazing, she wouldn’t trade the experience for the world, but she also missed her brother and her friends and her barry so so much.

she is the older twin and she will never let taako forget that.

taako is her best friend and her heart, so she has designated a non-taako best friend role in her life, and that’s filled by magnus burnsides. she loves that big ruff boi more than anything.

she loves fireworks. like, so much.

her and barry got married after she graduated, but it was a small, chill ceremony. she wants to do it big and dramatic someday.

she may act like a force for chaos and tease the shit out of people she loves endlessly, but she has a very strong moral compass and wants to protect people who deserve it.

the easiest way to get on lup’s bad side is to come at taako.

she tries not to hold grudges but she does sometimes.

her style is a lot, even when she’s not that dressed up - crop tops, short skirts, fishnets, tight jeans, stuff like that. she knows she’s hot and likes to accentuate that.

if she’s feeling under the weather, though, it’s comfy pajama shorts and one of barry’s baggy shirts.

she loves telling people her and taako are identical twins, because they are, despite the different last names and the fact that she’s a woman. the look of confusion on their faces is always great.

sincerity is hard for her and taako, but they’ve developed their own language to communicate it to each other in not-so-many words.

her ultimate comfort food is the turkey dinner her aunt always made for her and taako’s birthdays.

she’s guilty of having carb-heavy breakfasts on weekends and ending up taking a dank nap on barry wherever he may be.

if her and taako fall asleep in the same vicinity, they will wake up curled around each other. it’s a habit they haven’t been able to break from childhood.

she has a very bad habit of dabbing to sort of punctuate her actions. it started as an ironic thing, but she can’t stop.

catch her going “kobe!” as she tosses a paper towel towards the trash and dabbing as it goes in.
