This mushroom three-fioted planter went home with a lovely lady at the State Rally. This handmade pottery piece was glazed in cranberry color. It has iron oxide on the hand carving and legs. The echeverias match the crock's color when they are stressed. Too cute. After lamenting my pretty mug, I tried putting it back together with slip. Failed attempt. I know, I was warned in the rabbit hole. "Ok, regroup. I can save this. " I said to myself. "Ooh ooh. A yarn bowl!" Carved out the yarn well pattern, just like the handle I just lost. I'm carving, I'm carving. It's going good until I came to the turn of the curl. All of a sudden, "CRACK!" RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE! Just like an iceberg. SIGH! "That'll teach me." Another casualty. Well, to the reconstitute bag it goes. 😦🥺😢😭 Tonight is not a good one. Pretty handle broke. That's what I get for playing with it at the bone dry stage. It was so nice. I was so proud. Guess, I'll try to fix it with lots of slip. Hello everyone. We are down to our penultimate day of the 2021 Season here at The Bath Farmers' Market. Going on today 3p.m. to 6p.m. and next Friday. Next week, I hear we are giving out FREE hot dogs 🌭. Come out and support our local vendors. Today, I brought with me two new planters I couldn't resist in making. The glass skull had to have some Senecio Rowleyanus (string of pearls) and the ceramic pumpkin was a tea light holder and now turned into a planter housing a Ghost Plant (Graptopetalum paraguayense).
