Sprinklers
1. Check ALL of your sprinkler heads and make sure all the heads are working properly and spraying the right direction with EVEN pressure.
2. Check the outside spigots along the outside of your home to make sure they're working. These pipes freeze over the winter and can break. Decreased water pressure is a sign that there may be an issue with your spigot. If the broken pipe isn't detected, water can drain into window wells, basements, crawlspace, garages, and damage the foundation.
3. Test each sprinkler station to ensure that areas in the yard are not becoming soggy or that there is low pressure. These are signs of a broken sprinkler line underground.

Crazy weekend with floods in commercial builds as well as homes.
HERE ARE THINGS YOU SHOULD TRY AND DO IF THIS HAPPENS
Find the source of the water and turn it off or seal it. Easiest way to do that is turn the main water valve off to the house. It’s recommended to find it before so it’s not as stressful finding it during a flood( unless the water source is from an act of nature like rain or hail.)
Turn off the electricity, after the source of water has been stopped next would be to turn off all electrical systems in your house or business, but DO NOT walk through water to do so call an electrician if the fuse box is out of reach from water.
Once you evacuate your whole family including pets, call for help, 911 if necessary and Restoration 1 to get the recovery process started. Renters call your landlord, homeowners should call your insurance company and see if they need to come visit and send adjusters before the recovery process.
It's recommended before cleaning anything to document everything for your insurance. Use a cellphone to film or take photos but the water that's flooding your house or business may include hazardous material so take EXTREME precautions and wear protective gear.

We all know Colorado Summer weather isn’t all sunshine. It can also be stormy and sometimes dangerous with flooding. Here are some things you should check out around your home the next couple weeks, making sure everything is up to par.
1. You’re always going to want to check your basement for cracks or leaks. Checking around your house for grates with built up dirt and to cleanit off to keep direct water from the foundation of your house.
2. Make sure your windows and doors are properly sealed and caulked.
