Sue’s Mother’s Day story.

One night, Sue was frustrated that Dylan was not doing his chores, he seemed withdrawn. She thought he needed more discipline. Sue pushed Dylan against the refrigerator.

“And I said, you know, you gotta stop thinking of yourself! You have to stop being so selfish!” Sue says, as she begins to cry.

“I gave him the old mom lecture, and then I said ‘and by the way it was Mother’s Day today and you forgot it.’ And I don’t remember how that confrontation ended, I just remember him softly saying mom please don’t push me I don’t know how much longer I can control myself. It wasn’t a scary thing, it was just him being nice, saying back off please.”

She said she blames herself for pushing him too far.

“Then he went out and got me a gift. It was a little water can with african violets in it. I thought everything was fine because he was just so sweet!”

According to Eric Jackson, a senior in Dylan’s video class, who actually filmed the video, not only was it shot on April 19, 1999, but at the time of the massacre the tape was still in his backpack at the school.  From Eric’s interview with the police on April 22, 1999 (JC-01-010770):

Jackson stated he and Dylan Kleybold were good friends.  He stated he saw Kleybold on Monday at Jackson’s home.  He stated they filmed a “breakfast” video for Dylan’s school project.  The tape was called “American Dream”.  He stated Dylan was concerned about his grades.  Jackson stated the tape they made is located in his backpack in the choir room where he was when the shooting started.  He gave the Reporting Agent a description of the backpack and gave permission to take the tape as evidence.  The Reporting Agent located the backpack, lab personnel were notified of its evidence value, and they marked it for collection.

Dustin Gorton, a junior, was the driver of the 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle.  Alas, his picture is not in the yearbook, but here’s his car:

Gorton stated that he knows Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Nate Dykeman, Chris Morris, and Zachery Heckler and considers all of them friends.  Gorton stated that he last saw Dylan Klebold on Monday, April 19, 1999.  He stated he owns and drives a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle described as green with a white hood and a white fender.  He made a videotape of Harris and Klebold on Monday, April 19, 1999, described as a “looking video.”  Gorton stated that he and his friend, Eric Jackson, filmed Harris and Klebold for the purpose of their “looking video assignment.”  He stated he is friends with associates of the Trench Coat Mafia.  He stated the videotape take on Monday, April 19, 1999, was going to be used as a set up video for the schools morning in-house television program.  Gorton did not provide any additional information as to having any prior knowledge of the school incident or any information or prior knowledge pertaining to the incident.

He reiterated that he saw Dylan Klebold on April 19, 1999, during 3rd hour which begins at 9:30 AM.  Gorton stated Klebold “seemed normal” and wanted to smoke.  He described the videotape being made at Eric Jackson’s residence and depicts Harris and Klebold “being late.”  During the video, Gorton, Jackson, Harris and Klebold proceed to the Burger King drive-thru located on Ottawa and Pierce, Littleton, Colorado, at approximately 9:50 AM.  Gorton described that he is driving his 1972 Chevelle.  Dylan Klebold is the passenger in the front seat and Eric Harris is a passenger in the back seat.  The videotape depicts buying food and driving to the CHS student parking lot and having their breakfast in the parking lot.  He described that following the videotape being made, the group entered the building at 10:05 AM proceeding to the Video Production Room, also known as (aka) the Tech Lab.

It is worth noting that Dylan and Eric were in different Advanced Video classes, Eric in second period (when Dylan was in calculus) and Dylan in third (when Eric had philosophy).

Mr. Kritzer, Eric’s philosophy teacher, said in his interview with the police (JC-001-003483) that he believed Eric had in fact been in his class on Monday, April 19th (and thus he couldn’t have been in the video).

Eric Harris is a student in his 3 period class.  He sits n the back corner.  Rebecca Hines, a Gothic, sits with him and Brooks Brown sits in front of him.  He believes Harris was in class on Monday, but not Tuesday.

On the other hand, this contradicts Dustin Gorton’s claims to have made the aforesaid video with both Dylan and Eric.  Just another example of the unreliability of eyewitness evidence at times, I guess!

Kelly Ann Fleming

16-year-old Kelly Ann Fleming had a love for writing, both in the forms of stories and songs. She often went to the Columbine library to write and spent her free time writing her autobiography on her home computer; beginning with her mother’s water breaking and going as far as her fifth year. Her stories often had happy endings. She had dreams of being a published author. Kelly’s other passions included fashion (she was known for her stylish outfits) and reading (especially books about vampires). Kelly may have been quiet but she was full of love; her mother recalls her coming home from school and saying “I’m not shy anymore.” Kelly grew up in Arizona, her family had moved to Littleton 18 months before the massacre. She was learning to drive and looked forwards to when she would be able to take road trips back to Arizona. She hoped to someday buy a Mustang or Corvette. Kelly was born with a jaw too small for the rest of her face and as a result couldn’t breathe through her nose. She was supposed to have corrective surgery for this in the summer of 1999. She told her dad that she planned to start running post-operation, as her body wasn’t able to  cope with running due to her physical complications. Kelly’s mother, Dee, tends to a garden in her daughter’s memory. A small sign proclaims it “Kelly’s Garden.” Her family has not altered her room since she passed. The bedroom still contains an alien-shaped balloon full of Kelly’s air and a can of Coke she left on the floor. May she and the other 12 lives lost that day rest in peace.

i don’t wish to shit talk Randy, big however, the comment he left on someone asking an earnest question about the difference between Eric and kurt cobain’s suicide, due to them having similar methods but with drastically different states their bodies were in, left such a bad taste in my mouth. he said they were “fandomising” Eric by comparing their deaths but like.. i feel the OP had a very legitimate question, especially if you aren’t too familiar with firearms. i understand why it might be something he’s particularly sensitive to, and hence maybe a bit reactive, but it just felt weird.

additionally, i’m going to shorten the name of the items used to “gns” or specifically “SG” to avoid having the word “gun” written repeatedly in this post.

this roughly 16 1/2 minute video was filmed on march 6, 1999 featuring eric, dylan, philip duran, mark manes, and jessica miklich shooting gns in a valley/clearing near rampart range.

phil was a coworker of d&e’s at blackjack’s, and he introduced them both to mark—who sold dylan his TEC-DC9 in january of 1999—along with inviting them to go shooting.

according to mark, they all had gone shooting together several times prior to march 6th, however they didn’t videotape any of those previous times.

the majority of the gns shown in this video were the ones dylan & eric would later use for nbk.

during the footage, dylan & eric both injure their hands repeatedly due to how short they’ve sawn the barrels down.

eric’s savage springfield 67H had both the stock and barrel sawn off, making the entire length 26” in total. for reference, the original size of the 67H was 47.5” in total (the barrel alone being 28”), so they nearly halved the length of the SG.

while not as extreme, dylan’s savage stevens 311-D double barrel SG had its barrel sawn down to ~23” from the original size of 26”—the total length being ~42”.

(regardless, sawing any length off of gns is highly illegal and dangerous)

jeffco cut down the original footage, only to release the rest of it at a later date, though the purpose of doing so remains unclear. both outlinks for the video i included earlier in this post contain all available clips.

there’s some speculation around portions of this later-released footage along with the ending of the main rampart range tape, however i’ve made a separate post regarding that since it’s unconfirmed theories.

Kaynbred was one of Adam’s accounts, (random info-drop…) in which if you ever seen the “suicide poses” that Adam had found on Adam’s computer. The file name “Kaynsu1” and “Kaynsu2” taken round 2010, and the file names are a reference to alias “Kaynbred.”

*also, when Kaynbred was created; Adam was 16.*

The first existence of “Kaynbred” was on the forums “glocktalk.com” which he joined on April 1st, 2009. Whichhis first post on that account was on October 1st, 2009–asking about glock length. Most of the questions are mostly PC hardware related.

Adam would go on to post 8 discussions, all ranging from:
