Hello! I'm researching greyhounds, and in a couple years, I hope to give a retired racer a home. My question is: could they get along with other breeds? I have two smaller boys who grew up with their litter mates and other dogs. Would this work?

As always, it depends on the dog. Most Greyhounds do well with other dogs/animals. A good Greyhound adoption agency will visit with you prior to getting a Greyhound to be sure the hound they place with you is a good match for your household.
