When Katie bested her score with the clothes pins, Sam said she had the best overall score "so far" and I said "oh noooo"
I knew the SECOND I figured out the premises of the new episode that Sam could not resist making the players beat their best AGAIN. Brennan, still covered in parmesan cheese, having stuffed a whole sandwich down his pants, giving a monologue at the end really made this episode a true game changer episode. I don't think I will ever recover from Ify sliding/pushing/wriggling his way back to the finish line with his feet magnified to epic proportions.

#my favorite thing about what brennan did with this is that he made it so Evan's understanding of the situation made him almost useless#he wasn't “I know this is trope land and I'm on the outisde so i know how to navigate this”#he was “I inow this is trope land and I'm going to lose my fucking mind about it”#which coming from someone as pragmatic as Evan was hilarious#Jammer and Sam I think managed to hit the balance of “going with it” without being swept up which made them more competent#but Evan in his own way was as swept up as Kay by the whole thing which made him unable to function

The way I think of it is that White has the vigilance of discipline while green has the vigilance of instinct/senses.
Why is vigilance in Green? I get why it's in White because they have a lot of soldiers who are vigilant. What about Green?
It has a lot of larger beasts that are vigilant. Green tends to use vigilance on higher powered creatures where white uses it on lower powered creatures.
