Low-key hilarious how 95% of Dragonborn end up with a Hoard. Absolutely peak intersection of narrative and game design. You consume ONE dragon soul and next thing you know you’ve got 175 wheels of cheese. You learn like 3 whole words in Draconic and you’ve got poor Lydia pack-muling candelabras across the fjords. I personally mostly Hoarded precious metals and gems, but I’ve seen people who Hoarded books and pelts and, like…there is No mechanical reward for this. Players just love to Hoard shit in that game. Absolute Dragon behavior.

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG thread from when I made these a year ago were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! Just saw that Nicky Katt, Atton Rand's voice actor, has passed away (8th April 2025). He was in other movies/TV shows, but knights of the old republic II is what I know him from. Man, this sucks. He was only 54 :(

FUN FACT:

So you know how the Wilhelm Scream is in a ton of films as a soundtrack in-joke? It was popularized by Ben Burtt, who was a sound editor on a ton of ton of Lucas films, like all the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films.

Well, he cameos in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. That's him there. His only screen time is getting knocked over a rail, and he does an imitation of the Wilhelm scream as he does it.
