Yknow what I LOVE about the Star Trek fandom? It’s ANCIENT. I had a talk with a nice old lady at the old persons home that my great grandma is in and she noticed my Spock shirt and was like “oh I love that show I thought the premise was lovely” and you all know THE PREMISE is trekspeak for spirk and I was like “do you accept the premise because I do” and she looked at me with the eyes of someone who is reliving their otp moments and she said “the premise is all I wrote about, dear” and we just talked about spirk for a hella long time and I just love how age doesn’t matter in this fandom you can be ninety and still be the biggest spirk bitch ever how rad is that

Hello everyone!

This is an interest check for a non-profit Discworld fanzine. All proceeds would go to Alzheimer’s Research UK, the non-profit that Terry Pratchett himself donated to. The plan is to have about 30-35 contributors, and to have the zine available to purchase in both a digital and hardcopy format.

I have been a Discworld Pratchett fan for about half my life now, and I wanted to organize something fun for the fandom, while also donating to a cause that Terry Pratchett himself would have supported. If there’s enough interest, I’d really like to organize this.

The zine would host: - Art - Short fiction - Short essays - Poetry - Perhaps some small merchandise like pins or keychains, if artists are available/willing to design such.

Are there any fans and creators out there interested in joining/supporting such a project? Please like, reblog or reply to this post if you are interested in such a project. You can also send an ask if you want further information, or want to offer suggestions. Thank you!

I OWN THE FIRST K/S FIC EVER

GUYS I just bought Grup 3, where the very first K/S story, A Fragment Out of Time, was published in 1974. I’ve been searching and searching for this zine and I happened to finally find it the day my tax return came in and I could afford it. I have been blessed by Star Trek magic.
