𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 ?
Remus Lupin x Reader; 1.170 words
A/N: so a lot of the fandom likes to think of Remus as this Casanova of Hogwarts that gets everyone but also deeply hates himself and thinks he can’t have anything good. Good characterisation, not my cup of tea, so here’s how I like to imagine his character. Also as someone who appeared as if I hated people because of my previous introverted nature this was a fun idea to write.
CW: Reader appearing as mean; Remus’s pov (point of view); Reader is friends with Barty; Reader and Barty are in Ravenclaw; let me know if I need to add anything else !
There was one constant emotion on Remus’s mind, through all of his life as far as he could remember, and that was anxiety. How could it not be when he became a werewolf every full moon and thus a danger to everyone around him ? Not only that but he could put himself in danger if anyone were to ever find out about his problem, especially when he became a student there and he had friends for the first time. His anxiety probably doubled with that, tripled when they started getting suspicious of him.
But that was all in the past. That was kid Remus, and he finally grew up, his priorities as well. What was he getting anxious about now ? Is that the only girl he seemed to like appeared to be feeling the exact opposite for him. Remus was not the most sought after guy in his friend group, with his quiet nature and his numerous scar that decorated his face that made people a bit wary of him, but still, people weren’t out right mean to him. Which is why you almost completely ignoring him, and sending him glares, when you two were assigned to do a project along his three other friends made him loose his head, trying to figure out what did he ever do for you to hate him this much.
“I just don’t understand what happened ! Did I do something to her in our previous years and don’t remember ?” He was pacing in his dorm, clutching his head so hard the other three boys were afraid he would rip off his hair.
“Maybe she’s just shy. Don’t beat yourself up mate” Said James reassuringly.
“Shy ! With the glares she was sending me ?!”
James threw a look to Petter, both boys sighing at the sight of their friend. Sirius didn’t even bother paying that much attention, knowing that any attempt of comforting him would be like talking to a very panicked and deaf baby deer, instead comfortably laying in his bed and drawing. “You should talk to Junior then. He knows her like the back of his hand, will probably know what you did to her”
At that Remus stopped, letting his hands fall (surprisingly without his hair) down to his sides to questioningly stare at Sirius “Crouch ? The crazy Ravenclaw guy in our year ?”
“Yeah. Their families are close, unlikely friendship sparked, same house, yada yada… Go talk to him” He waved his wand at the door, opening it successfully. The scared boy took it as a sign that he was meant to investigate now and promptly left the dorm, and as a precaution Sirius closed, lest his friend decided to come back.
Remus had one advantage when it came to his anxiety, and it was that he could easily mask it, or at least he didn’t need to try very hard to subdue it. What guy full of scars and taller than everyone else would appear on the verge of anxiety attack when asking if he could talk to a guy along while pulling the most bitch face man kind has ever known ?
Barty almost look scared if it wasn’t for the gigantic smile adorning his face as he was left with Remus alone in the corridor. He leaned against the wall, getting comfortable for whatever discussion the Gryffindor was gonna put him through.
“Lupin ! What do I owe the displeasure ?”
He stayed quiet for a while, not really knowing how to interact with the boy in front of him. He never talked to him prior, barely saw him due to different friend groups, and weird rumours about him didn’t help gain the confidence for a talk.
“You’re… I heard you’re friends with-“
“Yes yes, we’re friends. What about it ?” he interrupted, letting out a sigh as if talking to him was already exhausting enough.
“What did I do for her to hate me ?” He let out, surprising himself at how quickly he got to the point. Though considering he was talking about his crush that seemed to not stand him, understandable.
He also surprised Barty, who looked at him like he just said complete gibberish and not actual words. He put his hands on the taller boy’s shoulder, bringing him down and effectively bringing him on the same eye level.
“Are you… are you blind Lupin ? Do you need glasses ? Or maybe you need therapy ?”
He did need it, but not for what he just said, he was sure of it. “What ? She clearly hates me. She completely ignored me during our group project”
The raven haired boy slowly blinked, before letting him go, looking at the ground like a concerned mother. “Just… just talk to her. God, you’re insufferable” And then he just walked away, no further explanation, which left Remus even more confused. Why would you ignore him then if you didn’t hate him, even sending weird looks every time he tried to talk to you ?
Well he went to you next for his answers. Which caused even more anxiety. Truly Remus would need a week of doing nothing to prevent grey hairs from growing by the time he’s twenty for the stressful day he was having.
Thankfully he decided to talk to you when you were alone in the library, his sacred little place, that he thought would maybe give him a bit more confidence. It wasn’t the case, but a man could dream. Instead much like Barty he blabbered and then asked not so subtly why you hated him.
“Pardon me ?”
You looked like a lost kitten. Confused and unsure if you should even be here. It made you look cute to him. Though probably not the best thing to think in this situation.
“Just because I don’t pay attention to you and your loud friends doesn’t mean I hate you. You’re not the center of the universe Lupin”
Now it would look like you disliked him to anyone else. But Remus saw how you dicked your head, how your cheeks were taking a darker shade and how nervously you jit your lip.
Tentatively, he ducked his head as well, whispering in your ear. “Can I assume that you… fancy me then ?”
He almost regretted asking that. You were practically stranger, you didn’t show him any signs of liking him, and he was now going to ruin this entire relationship before it even started and then-
“Yeah… I just didn’t know how to process it. People are not my strong suit”
“Oh” Well that changed everything…
“Oh. Well it’s okay. They’re not mine either…” He nervously looked down at you. You didn’t seem anxious or nervous like he was. Just a bit confused. He liked it. He really like it, and you, especially you.
“I know a place where there isn’t much people where we can do… whatever couples do ?
And there was a smile. A cute little smile that made his heart beat a thousand miles with the feeling that it could jump out of his chest.

tomura shigaraki x reader; 2,931 words
A/N: this was a request I got last year, i'm not a huge expert in hurt/comfort because i have no idea how to do the comfort part, so here you go, a reader who does little to no comfort because i'm clueless as well.
CW: hrut/comfort; tomura not liking his kid; thoughts of suicide; le me know if I need to add anything else !
It was honestly shocking how things went on after the league became the Paranormal Liberation Front; nothing that you could have predicted could compare. For starters, Hawks wanting to join your cause was honestly a bit of a joke in your opinion, considering the fact that he wasn’t just some hero but the №2, but since Dabi, well, Tōya, let him in, you figured that it was fine until he tried to kill Twice, and you and Dabi had to step in, barely saving him from the clutches of death. Speaking of which, Dabi being a Todoroki was not something anyone had expected; it certainly explained why he kept this whole loner with a secret identity persona up for so long, even after all this time that you all had bonded and basically became each other’s family.
And the war, it was such a horrible experience that you still have nightmares about it. The only bonus was that those UA kids had the empathy to let you all go, helping you fake your death and escape to form new lives away from any sort of criminality. Izuku going as far as to personally check up on you and Tomura when you two went to the UK to keep a low profile. And once you were 100% positive that your new identities were bulletproof, you could check on the others. Toga had the opportunity to stay in Japan under the surveillance of Uraraka and… Bakugō for some reason; you guessed it was because he trusted his classmate and her judgement to back her up when needed without any questions. Both of them vouched for her rehabilitation, given the circumstances that she was still a minor and that she wasn’t given the proper support when she was a kid. Twice was staying somewhere in the US with Spinner and Mr. Compress; the last time you spoke with them, they were in LA, where everyone was too preoccupied with themselves to notice Japanese criminals. Tōya had also stayed in Japan, reconciling with his family and happily watching Endeavour undergo a trial for all the abuse that he put his family through. He could even sometimes visit the two of you, going to the UK and using vacation as an excuse, with no one questioning it because Shōto would go alongside him.
And now you and Tomura, or Tenko as he was now calling himself, were living happily as a little family with a 5-year-old son that had no idea about your highly criminal past, only the made-up story about how you were immigrants from Japan that didn’t like how many heroes there were back at home, which honestly was kind of truthful considering you did not like the amount of heroes in Japan, just not for the reasons he would assume. Haruki (元稀) developed his father’s quirk, which at the beginning freaked out Tenko, considering how that turned out for him in his childhood. At first, he was even a little negative about it; he didn’t like seeing him; he only saw himself, saw how he would kill the two of you, how he would destroy everything that he had worked so hard for; it tore him from the inside.
“Tenko?”
He was sitting on the rails of the balcony of your shared flat when you had called him, letting his feet hang in the air. He remembered the first few times how he thought about jumping down, thinking about how this was all useless, that in the end this whole fake life wouldn’t work in the end, and he would have to be dead in the end after all, so at least it would be by his own ways and decision. Thankfully, he never had the guts to commit the act, not when you would be the one to see him like this, not when you would be the one shedding tears and blaming yourself for his decisions before eventually following suit.
He turned around, his ruby eyes looking back at yours. You liked seeing his natural eyes, recalling his true identity every time you two were home or in some secluded area when you could take off your disguises. It felt weird looking at that same face you loved for the past twelve years with different eyes and hair every time the two of you went out, so you were thankful for every single moment he wasn’t wearing his usual disguise around you.
You sat beside him on the railing of the balcony, leaning against his side as you looked into the distance, admiring the city view. The sky was grey, as always. At first you found it strange compared to the usual blue skies of Japan, with the rain accompanying it being ever so consistent, sometimes paired with the lightning and thunder that made Tenko jump out of his seat the first few weeks, even though he would be too proud and deny it every time you brought it up.
“You’re thinking about Haruki again.”
Silence, as always. Ever since your kid discovered his quirk, Tenko ignored everything that concerned your child. You didn’t like it, but you understood his concerns. The trauma that he went through in his childhood, much less the rest of his life, was painful enough, so you could understand how it affected his perception of your kid, the worry that he had concerning his future, especially since you two agreed that you would tell him the truth when he was old enough to not freak out on the two of you and not blabber about your real identities to his friends or teachers.
“I would have much preferred if he had your quirk, or even none for that matter…”
This was also something that he started saying frequently after your son got his quirk. You frankly didn’t know what else to do other than sigh and take his hand in yours for some sort of comfort, either for you or for him, you didn’t bother thinking about it much. You didn’t know what kind of support to give him in this situation; you didn’t even know if he would go past this phase of hating his own son. You hoped so, but given how he was acting around him, you started to suspect that it was just wishful thinking. The wounds of the war were still fresh in his mind, and having his son being a constant reminder of what he was capable of, of the things that could possibly happen, he could not just ignore the warnings that his brain was sending him.
You never had this kind of family problem that turned you into a villain like the other members of the league, or just other villains in general; nor you never even had a “villainous” quirk that you were bullied for by the cruel members of society. Your parents were just working with Giran, making weapons for his associates and keeping a low profile so that they wouldn’t have problems with the law. And you just had to meet up with the infamous leader of the League of Villains while giving new equipment to Toga, and he just had to make you join after seeing how useful your quirk would be for him.
And that’s why you decided to call Izuku. Of all the people that you could call to help you out in this situation, it was him. Tenko got really close with him after he helped you flee the country, and he understood how certain quirks could change a person’s life, given the fact that he was born quirkless, as he had explained to you two as he started visiting and checking up on you two after the war. You also called Tōya to visit so that your husband wouldn’t get suspicious about your intentions and because the two of you really needed to catch up after the last time he visited.
They both of them arrived like a week after you had called them, quickly making time to visit given the urgency of the situation, as you had explained over the phone. When you went to see who knocked on your door, the moment you saw the spiky white hair out of your peephole, you opened the door and jumped out to hug him, almost making the younger boy fall in the process.
“Damn, I hope you hug your husband like that as well; I don’t want him to be jealous.” He teased, grinning down at you as he returned your hug.
“We made a kid together; I think I made it clear who I prefer between the two of you.”
As you greeted the two of them, Tenko just made his way out of the bedroom; the only difference between his usual dead expression and this one was the smile that he gave Izuku and Tōya as he saw them at the entrance. He walked towards the three of you, hands in his pockets as he greeted them.
“You seriously need to stop flirting with my wife you tosser.” he said, walking towards the three of you slowly.
You grinned at their banter, finally letting your Izuku come in whilst Tōya was too busy playing with your kid to even enter into the leaving room. When you turned to look behind you, you saw Izuku already talking to your husband, a sign that soon enough there were some feelings to be shared, and you didn’t want to interrupt, so you ushered Tōya outside, leaving your kid in the house. You decided that it would be best to catch up with your old friend and let Tenko be open with you when he was ready, so for the time being you and Dabi went on the roof.
You two sat at the edge of the building, gazing upon the civilians that walked through the streets, rain violently hitting their umbrellas or their hoods. You and Tōya also had an umbrella to protect you, though at this point you were used to being soaking wet from the numerous times you got your umbrella stolen back home or not properly checking the weather when going out. You both stayed silent like this until Dabi finally spoke up:
“I guess if you called, it must have gotten pretty serious.” He turned to look at you; the muscles of his face didn’t move an inch, but you could read his eyes, full of worry not only for you but Tenko as well.
“H—he ignores Haruki completely.” You started, already feeling tears coming up, no matter how much you tried not to cry in front of him. “I know how he feels; I understand him, his feelings, but I… I don’t know how to help; I don’t know how to talk to him about it. I—”
You couldn’t hold it in anymore; you started sobbing, hiding your face in your hands as you tried to stop. Tōya hugged you, comforting you as best as he could while wishing that everything would turn out for the better. He trusted Izuku on the matter, and while it was obvious that one conversation wouldn’t change Tenko’s whole attitude towards the subject, he would try to be better, and he would try to make it easy for you, to help you understand what you needed to do to support him.
Inside your flat, Izuku was playing with the kid as he talked to Tenko about his issues, even though it was difficult for him to open up at first. It’s not like he hated the kid; of course not, he would never hate him; he was his flesh and blood, his only family besides you. But his quirk, was something that he couldn’t just accept. He knew how it would affect him, how it would affect other’s view towards him, and perhaps he would end up a villain, because what else can people become when they are pushed over the edge ?
“I don’t hate him, you know… It’s just his quirk; you know how it will affect him in the future. How people will perceive him. It will be the same story"
“I get that, believe me. I know how people will treat him. But that’s exactly why you shouldn’t let it affect you; he will need your support and your guidance. Now more than ever.”
They talked more about the issue until you and Tōya came back. You and your husband bid them goodbye before settling in your living room, with you nuzzling into the crook of his neck as he mindlessly traced patterns on your back. You sat in silence, afraid to talk, or more precisely, start the talk. And you guessed that it was the same for Tenko. But you had to do it eventually, and he cared enough to take the first step.
“I’m scared. I know it’s unreasonable, but I am.” He looked down at you, waiting for any kind of answer, just something to tell him that you didn’t blame him for his feelings.
“I… I don’t know how to help. I don’t do emotional stuff.” It could have sounded harsh, but judging by the softness of your voice, how he could hear it break just a little bit, he knew that you weren’t dismissing him. He chuckled a little, wrapping his arm around you just a bit tighter than necessary for comfort. “Me neither. But we’ll manage, won’t we ?”
You looked up at him, a weak smile on your face at your husband’s positivity. And the first time since Haruki’s quirk awakening, you became confident that everything would turn out as you hoped: you, Tenko, and Haruki living as a happy little family with no problems in your way, just joy and bittersweet memories.
“We will.”
It was five years later that you decided to tell Haruki about your pasts and secret identities, and for a ten-year-old child, he took the news very well. Maybe it was because he was still young and the two of you were generally open with your son about a bunch of other stuff. Either way, the two of you were glad that it turned out this way. But he quickly decided that he absolutely needed to meet your old friends from the League, which was mostly easy with Tōya and Toga, not so much with Twice, Spinner, and Mr. Compress, who never stayed in the same place for too long. At this point you were pretty sure that they went everywhere besides the African continent, not that they weren’t planning to hide there as well at some point in the future.
So here you were, sitting on the sofa of a large living room in Bakugo’s house where everyone from the League and some of his friends gathered to catch up. Toga was particularly eager to meet your kid, commenting on how he looked so much like you yet had the same personality as his father’s, which she described as a tragedy. Tōya was also very quick to declare himself as his only fake uncle, claiming that he was the closest to you and Tenko, while Twice complained about it and kept bugging Tenko to confirm that they were besties.
Overall, you were happy. You had the perfect life, the perfect friends, the perfect kid, and the best husband that you could wish for, who was currently sitting down next to you after Twice finally let him go and went to annoy Spinner instead.
“How is it that I’m younger than him yet he’s the one tiring me out?” He mumbled, throwing one hand over his face in exhaustion, which made you giggle.
“That’s what happens when you have a kid.”
He turned towards you, a fond smile on his face as he leaned to press his lips against yours. You remembered how dry it felt the first time you kissed him and comparing it to how soft his lips felt now, as if it had only been yesterday. A lot of things felt like they only had happened yesterday, and yet at the same they felt so distant due to the striking contrast. But you cherished those memories, they weren’t all positive, far from that, but it’s your dark past that had helped you built such a promising future, not just for you, but for the future as well, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
“And I wouldn’t want it any other way.” It was like he read your thoughts, as he pressed his lips against yours one more, smiling against you and you did the same. You two felt lost in the moment, everyone around you completely disappearing as you savoured your moment of intimacy, until you both heard Dabi let out a comical scream. Sure enough, it was Toga teaching your kid how to throw knives, and what better victim than his supposed fake fun uncle ?
“Should we stop her ?” your husband asked, not even pulling an inch away from you.
“Nah, let them bond. Plus it’s payback for how many times Dabi flirted with me.” That made him turn to look at you, a questioning glare on his face that made you laugh.
“Before we were a thing, he’s not that kind of arsehole” you explained, already sensing his annoyance from just the look that he was giving you.
“He better not be. Or I’m gonna have to re-enter my villain era” he said before kissing you again, a little more roughly. Damn it you knew how to get on his nerves, and damn it did he enjoy it.

katsuki bakugō x reader; 1.770 words
A/N: half of the inspo to write this came from the fact that i hate when people say that Katsuki smokes. common he's a geek with anger issues, thats doesn't suit his character type.
CW: katsuki being rude to his classmates; grumpy x sunshine trope (or is it ?); mention of smoking, blackmail and kidnapping; let me know if I need to add anything else !
Everyone in class 1-A knew, scratch that, everyone who set foot in UA knew that Bakugō Katsuki wasn’t someone who you could expect to be friendly. He never tried to hide that fact, and even so, when he started sneaking out early in the day after some time when they all moved to the dorms, it got more than a little suspicious. What was so important for him to do that he needed to get up at five and directly go out ?
At first, his classmates thought that he just decided to work out outside of his usual training. He wasn’t just screaming at everyone that he’ll be N1 just because. But the guys quickly noticed that he never showered after returning, never even touched his cologne, so that option quickly was cast away. And when some tried to ask him about, like Izuku, Kirishima or Mina, he dismissed them, saying that it wasn’t their business or that they were creeps for paying such close attention to him.
So here they were, sitting in the common room of their shared space, theorising about the blond's whereabouts.
“Maybe he’s smoking early in the morning”
“Katchan ? No way, he hates smoking. And anything related to that…”
“Seriously ?” Mina asked surprised, “He looks like a smoker.”
“Maybe he’s getting blackmailed !”
“Kirishima… If there was blackmail involved, he’s the one blackmaili-”
Before Denki could finish, he felt a hard slap against the back of his head, making him fall from the couch with a loud thud. Everyone turned to look at a very angry Katsuki glaring at all of them.
“Why are you extras talking behind my back like some kind of creeps ?!”
None of them answered, instead deciding to go because they were “busy”. Smart move from all of them. And thankfully the blond didn’t expect an explanation from any of them, so with a huff, he went upstairs to his room. Letting his bag fall on the floor, he sat at his desk and began doing his homework like the nerd that he was. That is until a notification popped up on his phone and he read the message, a small smile morphing on his face.
[Name]
hi !!
I have an exam early in the morning, so how about you come this evening ?
[Katsuki]
Sounds good
So there he was, getting ready to go out to see you at the time you both agreed to. As soon as Katsuki walked up to the exit door, everyone who was near turned to look at him with questioning stares and raised eyebrows in suspicion.
“Where are you going, Bakubro ?”
“None of your business”
With a slam of the door, he left the dorm. After that, everyone else was rapidly called to have a meeting like previously. Now the situation was even more weird, he never went out in the evenings, only in the early mornings.
“Maybe he’s holding someone hostage !” Shouted Denki
“Don’t be dumb, that’s impossible”
“Well, he sure is acting like he does…”
Everyone quieted down, thinking over the possibility. Their classmate was a bit aggressive, that was for sure, but kidnapping someone ? Surly not…
No one moved for a while, sitting in the quiet before rushing to Mr. Aizawa for some answers. After all, no one could walk out of the dorm for no reason, they moved here for safety after all. As Shōta was quietly sipping his coffee, he was startled by the teenage bunch that ran into his room, screaming and shouting questions that he didn’t even understand. With a furious red glare, he quickly shut them up.
“Bunch of savages. Iida, what is this all about ?”
With a bit of hesitation, the class president spoke:
“Well… Everyone is curious where Bakugō is heading every day. We aren’t allowed for no reason, after all.”
Shōta stared at them annoyed, turning his back to them. “It’s really none of your business, kids. But he is meeting with someone.”
“His hostage victim…” Someone whispered.
“What was that ?”
“Nothing teacher !”
And with that, the man was left alone again, confused in the major interest that everyone had for their blond classmate and his whereabouts.
With the new information, the bunch of teenagers, some of them paranoid, decided that the best course of action in this situation would be to send Tōru… to stalk Katsuki and figure out if he was really holding someone hostage. So, the next time he went out, she followed him discreetly, which wasn’t really all that difficult for her. The rest of the students waited patiently until they were all together again, with the exception of Katsuki of course, to discuss what she saw.
Everyone expected a serious discussion, but that was definitely not the case with the way she squealed in excitement and repeated “You’re not gonna believe this !” over and over again.
“Well not if you keep not telling us, come on spill it”
She took a breath and spoke, the huge grin could practically be heard on her face as she spoke the next few words. “Bakugō has a girlfriend”
A bunch “Huh ?” and “What ?!” erupted amongst the group. They were expecting everything from their classmate, literally anything, but not a girlfriend.
But everything quieted down once they saw their blond classmate marching towards the classroom, looking at him expectedly like he promised them some sort of gift. He scanned the classroom, annoyed at everyone’s stares.
“What is it, you extras ?”
Everybody had a silent agreement to let Katsuki be, it wasn’t really their business after all, and he didn’t own them any explanation, and they were sure he wouldn’t appreciate them being nosy. Everyone got the memo, except Denki.
“When were you going to introduce us to your sweetheart ?”
Aizawa came just in time because otherwise, Denki would be dead, probably. Everything steeled down, but Katsuki was still furious. He didn’t like them meddling in his personal business, especially when he wasn’t the only one involved in it. But oh well, at this point he was used to living with a bunch of dumbasses that believed in the magic of friendship.
At the end of class, everyone apologised and guessed that in hindsight, they really shouldn’t have jumped to such drastic conclusions. And Eijirō even apologised at the end of school.
“Sorry Bakubro, you were acting so mysterious, I really thought something was not okay”
The blond only let out a grumble in response, before turning his head opposite to the dorms. He looked back at his friend, still looking apologetic, before asking, “You wanna meet her ?”
“What ?”
“My girlfriend. Do you want to meet her ?”
He got a hell yeah in response as they both went towards your high school. It was weird for Katsuki, only his parents and yours knew, so this really was something different, like a step ahead into your relationship. It made him nervous.
They walked for about half an hour before they stopped near a high school, a bunch of students already heading home, or staying for a quick chat with their friends before parting ways. Bakugō scanned the sea of students, before his eyes landed on you. He called out to you, making you turn your head and smiling, before quickly walking up to him.
“Katsuki ! And… Kirishima ?”
Kirishima smiled and reached out to shake your hand. The fact that you knew his name, heck even recognised him, was making him all happy. He didn’t expect Katsuki to talk about his classmates, even less show photos of them.
“Nice to meet you Kirishima !”
“Yeah well, you’re meeting someone who thought I was a criminal” Bakugō said, swinging his arm around your shoulders.
Your eyes widened slightly, looking between your boyfriend and the redhead beside him, wearing a sheepish smile on his face. As the three of you walked towards your home, Katsuki explained the situation to you, and you couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity. Sure, your boyfriend was creepy at times, but holding someone hostage ? He wouldn’t even have the patience to do that.
“That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard !”
“Hey ! It’s not our fault ! Who is so secretive about having a partner anyway ?”
“Someone with brains and who likes their privacy” Bakugō retorted, before stopping dead in his tracks and looking down at you.
“Well, we’re gonna leave now, it’s getting late. Text me when you get home, okay ?”
With a hum, you kissed his cheek, waving him and his friend goodbye as you continued your walk. Bakugō turned to look at his friend, only to find him smiling at him proudly.
“What ?”
“You are truly a manly boyfriend man”
The pair returned to the dorm, the rest of the class already waiting for their arrival, as Kirishima texted them about their whereabouts earlier, expecting some sort of info about you and your relationship with him. He of course glared at all of them, told Kirishima to not spill a word and went to his room.
They then all turned to look at Kirishima, who was already in the centre of the living room, ready to spill the beans like Bakugō’s threat meant nothing to him. Everyone was asking questions about you, your personality, your looks, how you acted with Bakugō and vice versa.
“It doesn’t sound like Bakugō at all. Are you sure you went with him and not some clone ?”
“I’m telling you guys; he was so chill with her. He was about to smile a couple of times before remembering that I was there too.”
Even if the attitude of their classmate sounded foreign to them, they were all glad that he could be sweet at least with someone. Even if they didn’t get to see it, they hoped that with your influence, they wouldn’t need to sit through his constant shouting and threats of aggression.
Just as they were about to all head to their respective rooms, Kirishima got a notification from his phone. Reading through it, he smiled and held up his phone for everyone to see.
“She invited all of us for a hangout”
You on the other hand, you were giggling to yourself, proud that you could convince your boyfriend to give Eijirō’s number. You wanted to make an impression on all of his classmates and get a bit of revenge for getting into his business. And what a better way than to invite them to hangout, without informing it will take place in a haunted house ?
[Katsuki]
Did they agree ?
[Name]
Yeah. He said they all did.
I’m gonna have fun with this.
[Katsuki]

𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞
keigo takami x reader; 3.429 words
A/N: this is a fic from last year that I wrote. got inspired after reading @/moodyvoid post. she even reblogged it and i was bombarded by notifications the next day. good times
CW: reader has intrusive thoughts about harming hawks; reader is horny for hawks (nothing explicit); (one sided) enemies to lovers; let me know if I need to ass anything else !
It was late in the evening, maybe like three hours after school hours have finished. You were walking back from your way to work to finally catch a break when you noticed your old teacher from UA. You and Aizawa have kept in contact after you had graduated, but never really had the time to speak casually until today. So now you were sitting on a bench in some random park waiting for Aizawa to return with some coffee to catch up. Only for him to sit and complain with you about his current students now that you were an adult and could understand why he found kids annoying.
“I swear, these stupid kids are going to kill me one of these days…”
You took a sip of your coffee that he ordered for you, scrunching up your nose in disgust before swiftly pouring the rest of the drink in the nearby bushes. “Well you said the same thing about my class yet here you are, still alive” you said casually, remembering how annoyed he used to be with your class and antics that you all pulled off. You turned to look at him only to find him throwing you an annoyed glare, but you just laughed at that.
“Remind me why I even bother keeping contact with you ?”
“Cause I’m your favourite old student ?”
Before Aizawa had the time to object to that, you heard your work phone buzzing in your pocket and took it out, thinking that it was some kind of emergency if they called you after your shift. Reading the email that was sent to you, your eyes widened slightly, and the older man raised an eyebrow at that.
“What is it ?”
You re-read it a second time, making sure that you weren’t imagining it, before you read it out loud to him. “They’re inviting me to… some hero event ? Isn’t this defeating the purpose of me being an underground hero ?” You turned to him dumbfounded, and he just shrugged, sitting back and continuing to drink his coffee.
“They sometimes do that. They see an underground pro with a “Bigger Potential” as they say and try to get them to be more public. It makes them more money, and people consider this as a bit of an ego boost.”
You scoffed, you didn’t know if you should be flattered that they noticed you enough to invite you or insulted that they thought you were the type of person to easily chase after fame. Either way, you shoved your phone back into your pocket and crossed your arms over your chest. Aizawa noticed this and decided that for once he would be openly comforting. “You shouldn’t this an insult, you’re a great hero. And maybe you should consider going.”
You gave him a deadpan look, thinking that maybe from the last time you two spoke he developed some sense of humour. But by the serious look on his face, you guessed that it wasn’t a poor attempt at a joke.
“Are you kidding me ? You hate the paparazzi”
“But you don’t.” He interjected, “At least not as much as me. And you can always just be present there, talk to so some interviewers see how it all works and then go back to working as an underground hero. It’s not like you’re going to stand out much when the top ten, even twenty heroes are going to be present.”
In hindsight, he was right. Amongst the sea of popular heroes whose interviews people were dying to watch, you wouldn’t stand out like a sore thumb, you would be more like a needle in a haystack in this situation. And to be frank, you were always curious about this sort of events since you didn’t know any public heroes, at least not personally. “Well, I would like to experiment with that but… I would feel out of place. Plus, what am I supposed to do when I’m not talking to interviewers ? Look at a random wall ?”
Aizawa was almost regretting encouraging you into actually going, seeing how nervous you were getting solely at the thought of it, but he sighed and calmed himself down for your sake. “If you really nervous about going alone, I can ask Hizashi to accompany you there since he’s going anyway, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind catching up with an old student while there.”
You were so happy about him taking the extra step to make you confident in accepting the invitation that you almost hugged him, but quickly stopped yourself and simply bowed before you could embarrass yourself, “Thank you, Mr. Aizawa !”
Getting ready for that hero event was more torturous than you had expected at the start, because it felt like a dumb family reunion from your teenage years all over again. You wanted to dress casual because in the invitation there wasn’t even a specific theme that they were going for the event, so you were expected to just show up. But according to your friends that previously watched it on TV from a year ago, this was totally unacceptable, and you had to put extra effort into your appearance. Apparently, the fact that heroes were tired every single day from fighting and keeping Japan safe wasn’t enough of an excuse to be casual for one day, and they had to dress up for a bunch of strangers that they were never going to meet again for the rest of their lives.
So here you were, standing in a dress that you deemed was fancy enough for you to not get judgmental looks from the other guests and some light makeup to hopefully hide your tired face. Even though your friends cheered you on when you showed them your outfit, you still felt something was going to go wrong this night. But you decided to brush it off, blaming it on your nerves. You figured that since you weren’t important for the media anyway, nobody was going to pay you the slightest attention. Taking your bag, you locked the door of your flat behind you and quickly made your way outside, waiting for your ride to arrive.
So here you were, riding along with your two old teachers, Present Mic and Midnight. It felt weird given that unlike Aizawa, you didn’t keep in contact with the two of them after your graduation, yet these two were treating you so casually. You figured it was a way for them to show you that they respected you as a fellow hero or something, but it felt too odd coming from your previous teachers, especially Kayama who kept bugging you about your love life and such, to which you could only respond with fidgeting and a nervous smile. Thankfully you didn’t have to listen to any more of her questions since the three of you finally arrived. The first thing you noticed is the extreme number of paparazzi inside and outside the building, the bright camera flashes almost making it impossible to see properly.
You got out of the car, following suit after the blond man to not get lost and end up alone in the big crowd of unknown people. Last thing you needed was to get stuck chatting with heroes that you had no interest in talking to and having to explain your quirk like ten times in a row to different people. Kayama being herself obviously went off to flirt with someone while Yamada stayed close to you and decided to spend time catching up with you, you guessed it was because Aizawa never actually talked about you or never specifically brought you up.
“So, how’s the hero life treating ya, kid ? Everything you expected from when you graduated, or you’re ready to quit ?”
“Isn’t every job that exists making you feel like you’re ready to quit at some point ?”
You did some more catching up with him, talks about hero work and just life in general after graduating from UA, before eventually it was your tun to be interviewed, and surprisingly you enjoyed it. It wasn’t something that you would want to do every single time, you chose to be an underground hero for a reason after all, but it still felt nice to get some sort of attention. Like people saw you and acknowledge you for what you did because it was right, not because you looked cool while doing it. Even if it didn’t last very long and the interviewer immediately turned his attention to Present Mic and talked about how he was so awesome and in return the hero kept shouting compliments and anecdotes, but you were too busy covering your eras to not become deaf to hear anything he yelled, which was too loud for you even if he didn’t use his quirk.
The next day after the event, you sat on your couch and decided that since it was your day off, you could spend some time watching the interview that you did just for some fun. Everything was how you remembered, you took some time to admire your outfit, before you noticed something that made you a bit flustered: Hawks, the number two hero Hawks, passing by you and staring at you, like full on eye fucking you. You sat there for a couple of seconds before telling yourself that he was probably staring at someone else. He couldn’t possibly be staring at you, what kind of reputation he would have if he would just stare at random pro heroes that were only invited on a whim.
Then out of curiosity, you decided to watch his interviews. Everything was normal, some questions about his work, fans, etc… Until you pass somewhere behind him, the camera focusing on him barely catching your silhouette as he turns to yet again stare at you, less openly this time. Then he’s turning back to the camera, and you swear to God you can pass out from his words. “Damn, who is that ?” The way he’s saying it, plus how you can clearly see his face turning slightly red, has your brain short-circuiting and making you hide our face in a pillow like a teenager who got a confession from their crush.
But after some thinking about it, you sit up and now, you’re actually feeling annoyed. If you had just been interviewed, then people would probably forget about you in a week or so. But this is the № 2 hero we’re talking about, people will be gossiping about it for months, maybe even call out to you on the streets, with paparazzi spreading any sort of gossip to make money out of it. And the crazy fans, you weren’t ready to wake up to death threats by fanatics that somehow found your private account and thought that Hawks was their boyfriend.
Before you could get angrier about the situation, you heard your personal phone ring and quickly put it on speaker. On the other line, you heard your friend yelling out your name like it was the end of the world or something, which honestly, it felt really fitting to you.
“Did you watch Hawk’s interview from last night ? Dude, he is so into you !”
You could only let out a groan in response to that, sliding from your couch on the floor and hiding your face in your hands. “My life as an underground hero is ruined. Why did I ever decide to go there…”
“Aren’t you a little proud that Hawks of all people thought you are hot ? I mean that’s kind of an accomplishment.”
“I already knew that. I didn’t need someone to say it on national TV” You could only hear a bark of laughter from the other line “Well anyway, I’m sure that something else will pop up and people will quickly forget about Hawks crush, or whatever the media will call it.”
They, in fact, did not forget about Hawks crush on you. And yes, that’s how they called it. For the past week, you had been bombarded with paparazzi, and people from talk shows. They kept inviting you to talk about the situation and your feelings towards the № 2 flirty remarks and questioning about your relationship with him, as if you had any to begin with. His fans who theorized online if the two of you were secretly dating and were just putting on a show for everyone, as if. And just as you had expected, his delusional fans were going crazy over this, threatening you to stay away from him. You almost wanted to fake a confession just to see who was willing to find you and murder you in your own home so that Hawks would feel guilty about his comments. But you decided that your intrusive thoughts were best kept inside your brain.
Even villains begin to recognize you, and it especially felt humiliating when you were about to arrest them and all they cared about is if the rumours were true, followed by your teammates' laughter. Hell, even Hawks was pouring salt on the wound. Of all the things that he could have answered when talking in another interview when they brought up the clip of him looking at you and what was your relationship, he responded “If I’m lucky, my future spouse”. The only thing that filled your thoughts at that moment is how you wanted to rip off his swings so that he would finally stop smiling. And again, you decided to keep your intrusive thoughts to yourself.
This had been exhausting to say the least, to the point where you were asked to take a break by every single one of your friends because of how… not mentally okay you looked. It’s not like they were wrong; you kept beating yourself up from every single failed mission because instead of stealthy defeating a villain, your hero name was screamed and shouted at you, making you lose your concentration. It left you wondering how others put on a show when fighting. Lucky for you, you didn’t have to wonder more because some big scandal about Mountain Lady got out, and you were quickly forgotten and were able to come back to that quiet life. Even if some articles about the subject would pop up, people mostly just ignored it and shrugged it off as Hawks being his usual flirt. Which, all things considered, was kind of true, so you didn’t have to worry about him remembering you either if someday your unluckiness forced you to meet him.
…
“I jinxed it, didn't I…?”
It was a couple of days after the scandal with Mountain Lady. You were leaning on the side of a building, munching on whatever dessert you had ordered, the fancy name that it was given already forgotten. When suddenly, you noticed a pair of red wings out of the corner of your eye. That alone was enough for you to start feeling a mix of annoyance and anxiety slowly building up, and that only worsened when he spoke.:
“Heeeey, you’re that sexy underground pro I saw last time. How you doing hot stuff ?”
Currently, your mind was torn between wanting to leave multiple stab wounds over his whole body or making him leave multiple love bites over yours. You knew the guy was handsome, but dammit, seeing him in real life and to top it off in casual clothing was doing something to your body and mind. “So that’s why people say that cameras don’t do him justice. Noted…”
“You birdbrain had managed to ruin my entire image in just two interviews, which by the way I don’t know if you care enough, was not supposed to exist at all. You know how many people called out to me while I was on a mission, and even more had asked me if we were a thing ! And what the hell were you thinking by basically telling people that you wanted to marry me someday ?!” You whisper yelled at him, but apparently your anger towards the man in front of you was doing nothing but amuse him in response.
“Well, what were you thinking when you decided to go there ? That’s a public event sweetheart; people were bound to notice you. Plus…” He leaned closer to you, hands casually resting inside his pockets as he looked down at you with a smug grin. “By the way your cheeks are burning up, I have a good guess that it’s not because you’re angry. So I feel like you enjoy my attention.”
You could’ve answered with a snarky comment; you could’ve acted aggressive towards like you did all this time when you thought about confronting him, you could’ve just glared at him to not give him any satisfaction of being right about your feelings. Instead, your face got even more red than it already was, and you just sprinted off before he could another embarrassing comment about your state. And Hawks couldn’t do anything but stare in amusement as you got further away from him. He had expected you to react like this, but he was not ready to how much he would enjoy this “cute…” He thought to himself, before entering the coffee shop like he initially planned.
After that incident, you thought that you wouldn’t have to see the winged hero again, since you basically stalked all of his accounts to know where not to go when you weren’t on hero duty. But fate had yet again decided to go against your wishes, since not even two days after that, you bumped into each other again, in a less-than-ideal moment at that.
Hawks was busy chasing a mutant type of villain that no one could catch because he kept liquefying his body, when he got into a building. He chased after him, settling for a run since his wings didn’t have enough room to spread properly and let him fly. But before Hawks could do anything, the villain grabbed a civilian that was passing by, pressing a knife against their throat so that Hawks would have no other choice but to let him go. The civilian in question was you, just coming back from grocery shopping with now facing the winged hero as he thought about a solution to not get you killed in the process of arresting this guy.
To put it simply, the situation annoyed you. You were exhausted from hero work, and the only thing you wanted to do right now was go back home to satisfy your hunger with the meal that you had just bought. And you were not going to wait for that birdbrain to come up with a plan while you were at the brink of death only because he was useless at the moment. So, you grabbed hold of the knife along with the shoulder of the villain and threw him over you with full force. You looked down on him, an unimpressed look on your face. “Before taking a hostage make sure they’re not a hero, or don’t do martial arts” You glanced at your now bleeding hand that was holding the knife, sighing at the fact that you would have to clean the floor afterwards to not scare your neighbours.
Hawks didn’t waste any time to cuff the villain, and immediately after checking on you, “I’m so sorry for this. Let me help you clean your-” You cut him off by showing your now completely healed hand, as if the incident had never happened, minus the little scare that would also disappear with time. “Fast healing. Don’t worry about it” He stared dumbfounded at your hand, before eventually regaining his composure and going back to his cheerful persona, a satisfied grin on his face.
“Well, I’m glad you’re okay… And I really am sorry.”
You raised an eyebrow, shoving your hands into your pockets. “For making me almost die or the interview ?”
“Whatever you choose, songbird”
You scoffed, watching as he descended the stairs to finally leave. You leaned against the railings, looking down at him as he made his way down before shouting “If you feel sorry for the latter, you can always invite me to dinner !”
He looked up, a smirk on his face as he considered your offer before replying in a very enthusiastic manner, “Be ready tomorrow at ten. Casual.”
And with that, he finally left. You pushed yourself up, walking towards your door as you picked up your groceries, humming to yourself. “Should have invited him inside maybe…? Nah, then the poor villain would be stuck listening.”

𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞
james potter x reader; 991 words
A/N: to get back into writing decided to write about James. He's the scum of the earth in canon but God do I love his fanon version. Anyway, here's this thing I did instead of studying.
CW: reader's house is not specified; reader is extroverted but in a quiet way; james was in love with lily; lily and severus are friends; let me know if I need to add anything else !
At eleven years old, a little bit into the year when everyone started settling in, you never would have guessed that at some point you would have the attention of none other than James Potter. Sure you were pretty outgoing, mingling with different friend groups without much trouble, and you considered yourself pretty attractive if you do say so. But you were… quiet. Not like the boy who commanded attention of an entire room with animated speech and loud persona. People heard him before they saw him, and in both cases, it was a treat for them.
You on the other hand were not noticed unless you wanted to be; your steps calm, your mannerisms as well. But when you spoke, everyone listened to you, and when your friends and acquaintances planned a get together, you were always invited. But your differences weren’t what made you so sure of not being able to draw his attention. Lily Evans, aka the love of his life as he kept repeating to everyone, was the only one he cared for and he kept pinning for 5 years, all of her rejections coming in one ear and out of the other. People were still questioning how she kept her head on her shoulders with him not understanding the word no.
You still remembered talking about it with the red haired girl, coincidentally James not being far away.
“I still don’t understand how can he keep doing this. Five years ! Did he transfigure his brain into a rat or something ?” She exclaimed, huffing as she continued walking to your shared class.
“If you want to, I can give him a little warning. I’m sure Snape would enjoy making that sort of potion” You snickered at the thought.
She turned to glare at you, but you could see her lips quirking upwards. “Do not bring Severus into this. Gryffindors and Slytherins already have their useless rivalry without your intervention.
“But you would enjoy it, am I wrong ?” You playfully leaned into her, and she only rolled her eyes in response, letting out a “maybe” before entering the classroom.
After that, everyone at school noticed how the infamous marauder didn’t bother her anymore, not even a hello in passing. It was like all those five years meant nothing. Some people questioned him of course, but he decided to instead answer with “I moved on, this happens guys” Yeah right, as if. There’s a difference between having a passing crush and an obsession for five years. Oh well, Lily was happy that his obsession with her passed, even joking with Severus about how he finally “learned a counter spell to his brain-rat problem”
And that brings us to the seventh year, where he started paying attention, to you. But unlike with Lily where he declared it loudly and proudly, it was more subtle with you. And it didn’t even start with you personally, but with your friends. You noticed him sliding in the middle of group conversations, which wasn’t that odd considering he got along perfectly well with each Gryffindors, relatively well with Ravenclaw and Huffelpuffs and… he could tolerate Slytherins, as long as they didn’t speak to him. And unfortunately for you, you couldn’t overhear one of those interaction that took place just out of earshot.
“So…” He started, sitting down on the sofa next to a guy he noticed you talked often “You friends with her ?” He asked nodding into your direction.
“Yes…”
He let out a hum, drumming his fingers against the soft fabric “And… do you have any advice for someone who fancies her ?’
The boy gave him a deadpan look before glaring at him, “If you harass her like you did with Evans when she says no, I will hex you so often you won’t even remember how you originally looked like” his whispered words making James audibly gulp, but that didn’t stop him from adding “if she says no”
Since that day, you saw more and more of him, like right now when you were playing on your guitar near the black lake, when you saw the dark curly hair out of the corner of your eye. You turned to look at him, raising a questioning eyebrow at him.
“Need something Potter ?”
He had a sheepish smile on his face. It was an odd sight seeing his hesitate, but you guessed it's something that came after he matured a bit.
“Can I… sit next to you ? You play nice”
That made you smile, even if just a bit. You patted the place next to you, before going back to playing. He sat quietly next to you, watching you, drinking in the sight of you in the daylight.
He started chatting you up, asking you about your guitar playing, and then about your other hobbies, your life in general and you did the same. You spent the whole afternoon talking with each other, and that’s how you found yourself gasping at the sight of the sun almost set.
“Bloody hell, we will definitely get detention if we don’t hurry back”
He cracked a smile and you two ran towards the castle, him pulling you by your hand. Fortunately you made it just in time, though the two of you would probably need to skip dinner.
“That was nice” He said turning to you, a little bit breathless, his brown cheeks taking a darker shade. “We should do that again”
“Almost get detention ? You have an interesting way of spending time with a girl Potter”
“It’s reserved only for you”
That actually made you blush a bit, but you quickly shook your head and went to your dorm. “Go find to your friends Potter”
He watched you walk away with a grin on his face, proud of the reaction that he made you have. Approaching you in private was his best move and he’s glad that he learned from his previous five year lasting mistake.
