I know the word has fallen from super-popular use but I think we need to revitalize it as a term (for a deep-seated distaste or turn-off from certain tropes, writing forms, character types, etc.) What makes you put down a book or close a tab so fast?

HOLY SHIT THE TORCHWOOD ORGY FIC IS ACTUALLY GETTING DONE IT IS *ACTUALLY* GETTING DONE THIS IS NOT A DRILL MY BRAIN IS WORKING

it's actually structured like a meeting agenda, with the 'minutes' being little vignettes of encounters Gwen has with all the team. and yes there is lots of snarky office manager Ianto in there, i LOVE writing dialogue for him.

my biggest struggle in writing this fic has been how to structure a 7 person orgy in text but i realised that to give it some framing, it really needed to stay centred around Gwen, because the orgy's purpose is to prep her in getting pregnant. So although there's so many pairings I could do, the focus needed to stay with Gwen.

anyhow a lot of these vignettes have been pulled from fully written scenes that were just sitting in my drafts from earlier versions of the fic, which have turned out to be perfect! and good GOD some of them - I don't know what horny brain I was on the day I'd written some of these, but they barely even needed tweaking.
